Stayed in a Deluxe King Room which was absolutely delightful - spacious, clean and bright! The staff were absolutely excellent - particularly the service from the wonderful Irish barman in the Lounge area, thank you! Great setting, lovely pool and health suite - would definitely choose to stay here again!

Hotel based on the "DoubleTree by Hilton" concept. This means that you exactly know what to expect, which is always nice when you are far away from home ;-) Our bathroom was rather compact and the breakfast cannot compete with what DoubleTrees in London offer. To counterbalance these elements, we would like to mention: * The presence of an indoor swimming pool; * The ample, free on-site parking; * The convenient location: trees completely mask the hotel from the busy A90 and the city centre ... The environment is nice and the room is big I can't find any problem from the hotel except the price may be a bit high if it is not discounted. Lovely that you can see two rabbits in garden through the room's windows. Front desk is very nice to recommend us the good places to do and also give us the postcode.

Stayed in a superior king room for 3 nights during a trip to Dundee for my birthday. Room was a good size and comfortable. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful and cookies were lovely ! Hotels surrounding area is stunning! Close to a variety of restaurants and short drive from the town. We did not eat in the restaurant as it seemed very over priced. Fitness centre and swimming area very clean and enjoyable when quiet as pool is quite small. Overall great stay, and would come back... Read more

We were looking for a Hilton family hotel close to Caroustie and St Andrews so we could visit them. Didn't have my clubs, as we came off of a cruise to go to Scotland. But visiting the courses was still big on my list. The pictures of the hotel look very intriguing online, as well as the low Hilton Honor points to stay there (20,000 per night). Upon arrival I really didn't recognize the hotel based on the pictures from the Internet. I mainly saw a two-story set of hotel rooms. Upon checki... Read more

Nice location, nice hotel but lacks attention to detail from within the hotel and from the staff they employ. Rooms are as they are in most Hilton Hotels, there is free wifi and a reasonable selection on the bar menu. There was one or two issues that could have been dealt with but have yet to be.

Good location and the hotel gardens and room as expected. Asked staff to book a taxi the day before as couldn't be late for interview. Staff denied booking and I was late. No cookie on arrival ??? Overall hotel facilities good, breakfast lovely, shame about the communication

Local venue for meeting with international colleagues. Very conducive atmosphere for work meeting whilst quiet enough in the evening to dine and chat. Accessible to travel with train, airports nearby all a bonus.

A nice place to stop after running in the pretty muddy charity run. Large bed was comfy Unfortunatly two mattresses pushed together so dreaded seam down the middle..some of us still like to spoon with a partner! Breakfast above average quality sausages, and good bacon. Bar roomy and comfortable for a family lunch and drinks. Only real gripe bathroom..who fits these places out! Tiling sealant looks like a five year old did it..but this seems to be the norm with alot of places I have stayed in so ... Read more

Visited as a 'final fling' for senior pupils who were finishing their school career, upon arrival the hotel seemed nice and the staff were friendly. Layout of 'Landmark Suite 3' was evidently not big enough for the amount of guests attending and showed through after food was served. The food itself was served on large plates which was in contrast to the size of the portions. Thankfully however there is a Mcdonalds just up the road..! In 'Landmark Suite 3' there was a small bar which was worki... Read more

My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel when visiting a friend in Dundee.Despite checking in on line prior to our visit we were required to check in again at reception. The check in was slow due to the failure of the first computer. The room was modern and well furnished as was the bathroom. We booked a table for 7.30 for ourselfs and two friends. The menus was limited and were advised that due to demand there was no salmon or steak pie but they did have special burgers due to the football on.... You go to a Hilton hotel and you know what to expect. Nice hotel, clean, comfortable and good food. What makes this one stand out is the staff. They are all lovely. Very cheerful and extremely helpful without going over the top. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done!!

We just came back after a family break at this hotel Rooms were clean and good as usual for Hilton standard we were most affected by the caring attitude of Ms A.Wilson, the Food&Beverage Manager. My daughter has Gluten allergies .She got her what she wanted both in breakfast and dinner and catered for our religious dietary requirements We would like to offer our thanks to her and to the GM for well trained staff in Equality & Diversity would definitely stay there again

Stayed here midweek with my partner and had the most wonderful time yet again! Check In was very efficient and friendly and we received a delicious chocolate chip cookie! Our room was a King Deluxe room on the second floor and had lovely views of the garden. We decided to have lunch in the bar which was busy however the staff managed to find us a table, and yet again the staff were very personable and friendly. I have to say the food at the Doubletree is always delicious and the service is seco... Read more

We stayed here for two days and we really had a great time. We stayed in room 121,the hotel is nice and staff was very polite and helpful. The food are excellent so is the service in the bar and the restaurant. The room is well equipped, everything you expect from a hilton standard. However the room we stayed in perhaps needs a little bit of tlc ,the carpet was not fitted properly, slighlty coming off ,this is towards the bathroom. the spring of the sofa bed mattress is sticking out and so uncomfort... This is a decent hotel - easy to get to, plenty parking, and its child friendly. The food is good and dining in the conservatory at night is lovely. The swimming pool was great for the kids to splash around - if I had one slight moan it would be that there is no hot tub (there is a sauna and steam room) and that the staff could be slightly better organized - all very friendly and helpful, but often when one was asked for something (coffee at breakfast, drinks at dinner) you had to eventually c... I have stayed here a few times on business. The location is good, the staff friendly. Housekeeping is poor (non-existent), they do not service the room daily if you're here more than 1 night; my trash bin was overflowing and towels needed replacing, the housekeeping serviced some of the rooms but not all. Breakfast food is choice is not great, eggs are like plastic. Dinner - food average, not worth the money. Summary: expensive for what you get - or don't get. Room rates can be expensive d... Easy to find & in a very nice location. The room was small but had all you needed. I had ordered a bottle of wine on arrival which wasn't there but not the hotels fault but the booking agents. Hotel put it right & didn't charge us. Spa faculties I didn't use as the very small pool put me off. For a hotel that size a bigger pool is a must. We ate in the bar where the staff where very efficient & welcoming. The food was ok but way over priced for what you got. Seabass dish was more like a goldf... Read more

We stayed here overnight on our way back home from a trip round Scotland. It is out of the city but they do have a shuttle vehicle although it was broken when we needed it. We sat and had a couple of drinks in the bar and then dinner. Food was delicious and not overpriced for a hotel. The room as comfortable and clean and breakfast was as usual, plentiful, with delightful staff to help you.

I have stayed here many times and although the rooms aren't great i still like it. I love the food and especially the block of beef (or whatever it is called), its delicious. The bar is quiet, staff are friendly, its not too expensive and its outside the city which again, i prefer. I've never been too disappointed when staying here and will be back.

We had to make a last minute booking as we decided to stay longer in Dundee. With all the city center hotels being fully booked we went here, as the price was decent. The taxi from Dundee city center to the hotel is around £10 and we were delighted to having discovered this nice place. The service was excellent, and the cookies at the arrival were a nice gesture. The rooms were also very nice, old and modern at the same time. Would not mind coming back.
