We stayed here recently as a base for catching up with friends in the area and visiting The Malvern Garden Show. We had not stayed at a Holiday Inn before and were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast is good although I stuck to scramble egg on toast most mornings but what I saw looked very tasty.. Check out very easy and wifi worked very well in room. I was on 2nd floor and had a good signal and was able to stream Now Tv without issue. Checked in for three nights. Went down for Dinner tonight no food only Pizza the reason. No food had been delivered!!! Went to my room to relax. No not to be!!! Apparently there's a group of teenagers booked in screaming and running up and down the corridor. Why do they allow large amounts of unsupervised youngsters to run amok in their hotel. We visited the hotel recently for a weekend trip and was very impressed with the hotel and staff. Having checked in and out of a nearby hotel in the space of ten minutes due to the state of the place, the front desk staff at HIE Droitwich couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating us and our pets at such short notice. This review relates to a stay at this hotel in January 2015, I've just never put anything on before now and the limit for entering when I travelled is no more than 12 months. This was the first Holiday Inn Express I had ever stayed in. It is an excellent location situated adjacent to the M5. It was excellent value for money. The holiday inn express was absolutely brilliant we couldn't have asked for anything better....just off the M5 at Droitwich...easy to get too....every thing was lovely and clean...the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough....and very friendly towards two Yorkshire terriers as well. Next to the Inn was a Harvester Restaurant which also was ideal for evening meal. So all in all a very pleasant trip...oh and breakfast was included in the price of the room. Hope this helps.

You get what you expect from this Holiday Inn Express. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them, which is always appreciated as I am sure they work long days. The room was basic and parts of it weren't the cleanest. For example, the room phone was dirty and not something I would touch. Located just off the M5 at Droitwich this hotel is basic but good. The rooms are smaller than I've experienced at a Holiday In Express, but has everything you need for a night away without luxury and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is buffet style with a decent selection of pastries, cornflakes and toast with beans or scrambled eggs, plus tea, coffee or fruit juice (or McDonalds is next door). The only negative is that parking is limited.

Hotel good for visiting local attractions, easy access to motorway and local road network. Good clean and tidy rooms, in-room tea and coffee supplies, adequate sound proffing from any motorway noise. Breakfast basic but sufficient for short stop-overs, staff friendly and helpful. There is a harvester and Mc Donald's on the complex, Mc Ds 24 hours, free hotel parking. We stayed 2 nights (Fri/Sat). The location, next to the M5 junction, is convenient even if not exotic and we weren't troubled by any motorway noise. There was ample parking around the hotel. We had a very friendly welcome from the staff and our room was crisp and clean and had a contemporary feel with sloping wood designs. Breakfast was included (6-11), nothing special but enough choice to find something to fill you up. The functional bar serves very tasty pizzas if needed 24/7, alternative... Read more

Booked this HiExpress as closest to interview location (on map)! Phoned them twice before arrival to confirm location and select room near entrance on ground floor. Staff on phone on both occasions were delightful, although the first one gave me a bum steer as to what side of the motorway it was on (which caused us tremendous problems the next morning, as our Satnav placed us right in the middle of the M5 Motorway, and we were actually on the wrong side of the road to reach our destination easil... we were most surprised at the quality of the rooms. We have stayed at similar hotel chains and not received this quality. The beds were very comfortable the rooms were a good size. The showers worked perfectly. Staff were very friendly. Although breakfast was included it would have been good to have a little more choice with the hot breakfast one more choice would have been ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good supply of tea coffee etc even ice in the reception area t... Read more

Was easy to access off the motorway, which I was delighted with. Little road noise made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast is a continental with beans sausage and egg, and very pleasant. If you need something to eat on the go though there is a McDonald's across the car park.

Excellent facilities for a weekend away with friends. Friendly staff at check in. Room was clean, well appointed, had everything you would need for a short break away, bed very comfortable, air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful.. If you wanted a full English Breakfast this was limited to three components, scrambled egg, beans and sausages, but plenty of fruit, yoghurts, pastries, toast. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and we were invited to help ourselves from a selection in the main... Read more

Stayed at this hotel when visiting the NEC Birmingham, easy access off the M5,the staff were friendly and helpful. Booked a wheelchair accessable room which was way beyond my expectations having a wet room. Te room itself was spolessly clean with plenty of storage and excellent lighting including daylight spotlamps attached to the headboard.Everything about this hotel is FIRST CLASS and would highly recommend it

stopped off for a one night stay. Rooms and hotel are in good condition, fitting of the Holiday Inn Express brand. Food options in the hotel are limited, almost zero. There is a MacDonalds in the car park and a Harvester next door with an Indian restaurant beside it.

We stayed for one night as attending a family wedding nearby, the rooms were lovely, clean comfortable had everything you would need, hairdryer, iron, tea coffee etc with a note to just ask reception for anything else. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient, breakfast was included and was lovely. Good value and would use this chain again

We stayed here this weekend as we were up visiting Worcester Uni for my daughter. The reception staff were very friendly, and we found the family room (1 standard double bed and a sofa-bed) to be spacious and clean. It was also well-equipped - decent flatscreen TV, very good hair-dryer, great iron and an ironing board. There was a small problem with the room but all it took was a quick phonecall to reception and the matter was dealt with very professionally. Though close-ish to the sliproad of t... Read more

Before this I don't think I've stayed in a holiday inn type hotel. (Budget, I guess)Stayed here for about a week whilst working in Worcester. I wasn't expecting much as it was right next to the m5 and the building looked abit dated on the outside. However, could Not fault it one bit. Could barely hear the traffic outside my room, it was very modern, big bed, good wifi, very clean and quick access to the m5. The only thing I would comment on is the lack of parking. I didn't struggle to find a spa... Read more
