Not been here for a while as it hadn't been as good as it once was. HOWEVER, credit where it's due they seem to have made some changes for the better. Nice refresh in bar area and reception, while breakfast although always of Hilton quality has been improved further with new staff and a happier outlook. All staff were very efficient and friendly in the main with one possible exception. Overall pleased with stay.

A fab airport hotel. We paid £67 for a weeks parking and the night here, through undercover booking on Holiday Extras. Absolute bargain! The room was well appointed and perfectly adequate, just a bit more noise from other guests could be heard than I would have liked. Staff all friendly and helpful, with speedy check in.

This is a great value hotel. Super clean, modern and nice pool facilities. We had a family room and asked for 2 single beds for the kids. No problem. Other 'bigger' Hiltons could take lessons from the customer care and standards here.

Have stayed here on many occasions and given a good or excellent review. This time it was very different, check in was fast, the room was of good standard and the transfer to the airport was as good as usual. On the return on Bank Holiday Monday it was a disgrace, there were 8 people waiting to be transferred back to the Hilton, we all phoned and was told to wait outside W H Smith and we would be collected shortly. I rang at 1503 and we were all still waiting at 1540, again everyone phoned again... Read more

We are into our last night of a 10 night stay due to a house move gone wrong. We have a 6 year old daughter, and what could have been chaos, has been blissfully relaxing (helped by it being half term). We have a deluxe double family room which contained a double bed, sofa bed and a single guest bed when we arrived.. it was a tad crowded for just the 3 of us so we asked for the guest bed to be removed and it was taken almost immediately. The decor is a bit dated but the room is perfectly clea... Read more

I was invited to meet a business colleague at this hotel and it took me an hour to find the entrance from the first time I drove along the hotel! I nearly gave up! My sat nav (and yes I had entered the name of the hotel as recommended by Hilton on their website!) would only tell me 'I had reached my destination' when driving along the back of the building where there was no entrance! Considering this is a busy hotel with no doubt people coming and going at all hours plus being close to the A50 the room was remarkably quiet Bar prices reasonable and service quick and polite The Pavilion Restaurant provided some excellent food during my stay with a varied menu and good portions. A throwback to the 80s - dark brown furniture, thick carpets, no obvious refurb or remodelling for decades. That said, service was reasonably good, staff friendly. I was watching England teach Iceland how to play football and had good service of both food and drink to my table, which was nice. The hotel was reasonably quiet until early morning, when planes started flying over. Fine for a short stay en route to somewhere else.

Slightly horrified at the price (£7) of what turned out to be a very basic sandwich and a tiny portion of crisps. We wait to 3pm and then notice that people arriving after us are all being allocated rooms, so we check if ours is ready. Apparently not!
