Absolutely nothing special - unless my expectations were too high. Room is small, extremely hot & very noisy outside onto the main road. Lack of towels & toiletries so had to request for them. Only one receptionist was helpful as the other didn't have a clue as to what he was doing. The highlight of the stay was the swimming pool, gym & spa facilities next door, they were a lot more helpful and enjoyable.

After reading the reviews, I was somewhat dreading my stay. However, I received excellent service on arrival and found staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was spotless and I had ample supplies of toiletries, towels, tea, coffee & hot chocolate. I used the leisure facilities too and was most satisfied. The only issue I had (which I reported to reception) was the poor insulation as I could hear everything from the room next door (I stayed in room 408). However, I und... Read more

The price here is from £50-£65 a night, which is very good as mid-week - lots of hotels with swimming pools are very expensive, usually well over £130 This is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are ok - not that spacious as other hotels, but as I paid under £60, I can't complain. The first room I had - it was a bit dark and not much light as the building near it was blocking a lot of natural daylight and I spoke to them and asked for another room which they had available and was better in terms of... I cannot recommend this hotel. The room and beds were way too small for this price. Turning around in a single bed should be possible and not a luxury. However, the location was ok, close 3 min walk to East Croydon station.

After planning a family function in the bar my family and extended family booked to stay in the hotel. They were helpful enough to put us all on the same floor or close to each other. They were great at advising on food and where to eat and happy to help with all requests. Definitely using again

We chose this hotel because of it is within walking distance of the East Croydon station during our trip to see London. It made catching the train to London very easy. This hotel would not be my first choice to go back to again. The best thing about the place were two of the front desk staff who were very helpful. We encountered several little frustrations that added up. We couldn't have a shower on our first morning because the nob in the tub was stuck. They did fix it and we were able to show... Read more

I didn't even wan to give it 1 star. Buts its a point for reception staff as the girl on desk was good. Tiny cramped room, bathroom seemed bigger than the main room! Paper thin walls, noisy outside even with Windows closed...im not sure if it was double glazed probably not. Walked over the road to see what other hotels looked like, they were better. Would not recomend

Young man at the front desk was very polite.. Which was the only good thing about this place.. Allocated room 405 which faced the main road. Room was tiny, bathroom was nearly as big. No air con and fan supplied didn't work. It was like being stuck in a prison cell with no air.. To have the window open meant constant traffic with police sirens going past every 20 mins.. A call to reception resulted in no other rooms available as they were full!! A request for an immediate refund was refused.. We... Read more

The staff are friendly and helpful and it is good value for money as you get a discount on parking in the NCP just over the road, discount on breakfast at Jury's in which is opposite and full access to the pool, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi etc. The en suite and changing room for the pools could do with some TLC but the bedroom itself is more than adequate. There is an Italian restaurant next door called SalVe which is really friendly and the food is wonderful.
