Unfortunately our one night stay didn't live up to expectations. The sink had a crack in it and there was a hole in one of the curtains. The shower wasn't at all powerful and seemed to have two settings - very hot and scalding. Perhaps we were unlucky with our room. Breakfast was a buffet style but many of the advertised items seemed to have run out and were not being replaced. One of the coffee cups was cracked too. A disappointing stay.

Clean and basic hotel for decent nights sleep. The staff were really friendly in answering and helping us out. Kudos for that. The shops nearby (supermarket etc) are more than enough for your daily needs. Very convenient in Croydon itself but however if you are travelling central london like us, it might take a fair bit of commuting.

Unfortunately my stay at this hotel was what only can described as a misery. Being a smoker I decided to stay in a room on the smokers floor which I now hugely regret. It seemed that this floor was the floor that accommodated for the drunk and inconsiderate. My sleep was disrupted on several occasions throughout the early hours of the morning by drunken yobs. I would like to specifically mention that the guest and his prostitute directly next door to me sounded like they thoroughly enjoyed them... Read more

This hotel is a brief walk from the Croydon train station with direct links to Gatwick Airport and Victoria Station. It was affordable to stay here for our touring of London. As for the breakfast, it's a bit mixed. A decent selection with the usual suspects but also some veggie options (the vegetable sausages are quite good!) If you want a quiet night forget it and to park a car if you haven't got disables access you have to pay to keep it in a car park and then walk across a busy road and I wouldn't call it the safest of places as lots of work is going on in that area.
