Unfortunately our one night stay didn't live up to expectations. The sink had a crack in it and there was a hole in one of the curtains. The shower wasn't at all powerful and seemed to have two settings - very hot and scalding. Perhaps we were unlucky with our room. Breakfast was a buffet style but many of the advertised items seemed to have run out and were not being replaced. One of the coffee cups was cracked too. A disappointing stay.

Clean and basic hotel for decent nights sleep. The staff were really friendly in answering and helping us out. Kudos for that. The shops nearby (supermarket etc) are more than enough for your daily needs. Very convenient in Croydon itself but however if you are travelling central london like us, it might take a fair bit of commuting.

Restaurant, bar and a Costa cafe, though this is combined with the bar and has limited food choice. As a former frequent traveller to Croydon for business I have stayed here many times. Service is usually good, although this can vary, as can the room condition, quality of food. Although the hotel is central, it is very quiet with only occasional noise from the Lansdowne over the road.
