Booked this as a package with APH car parking. Arrived about 9pm on a Saturday night. Hotel must have been full as car park was very short of space. Checked in very quickly and off to our room on the first floor. Very nice for the price we paid especially compared to chain of Lodges that we usually stay at when travelling about the country. Didn't have aneed for the bar or restauarant so can't comment. Left early in the morning- check out swift and no charge for car park. Would definately stay ... Read more

Stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight to Greece. We ate a meal there which was really good, if a little pricey. Room was clean and comfortable. We booked a taxi for the next morning which was prompt and a good service. We also ordered an early morning call which came through on time. We will stay here again. Car was left there for 8 days and it was undameged and had not been moved of the site.

We had a hotel with parking deal whilst flying from Gatwick. Got there late, we had an early flight so went straight to bed. The room was very comfortable, could'nt fault it. Friendly reception staff dealt with us well when booking in and in retrieving our parked car when we returned. Good special taxi deal to and from the airport. Our best stay in Gatwick to date.

Arrived mid afternoon on Fri 6th May, for one night stay and a week parking before our holiday. Hotel is in a lovely location and has nice grounds. It is approx 10 mins from Gatwick, taxi service booked from the hotel was on time. Had dinner in the Restaurant, the burger & chips was delicious! Stayed in room 137 which was quite near reception, very clean. Only negative on check in we were greeted by a grumpy receptionist who seemed like she didn't want to be there. Having stayed at holiday inn's numerous times over the years, I was a little disappointed when I booked 4* mystery hotel and was placed here but the price was right. I am happy to say that we were both more than surprised at not only the excellent standard of comfort and cleanliness of the room (a standard room at that, not an executive suite) but the excellent service we were given when we arrived and throughout our stay. I have stayed at plenty of holiday inns in various locations and have never really had an issue, same goes for this stay. Arrived around 4:30pm, hotel looked clean and in a nice tucked away location, checked in smoothly, got to our standard rooms and was pleasantly surprised, not a huge room but we don't need a huge room for a quick stop over. It felt very clean, cosy and comfortable. I would certainly suggest anyone travelling from Gatwick looking to stay over night close by to stay here. Has e... Read more

Only paid £85 for a big room for 4 of us and parking for up to 2 weeks. Join their parking club for free for this rate. The hotel is really nice - the room was big, clean, tidy, comfortable and parking was no issue at all. The service was really good from all the staff. I have seen some complain it's too far from the airport - it's about 15 minutes by taxi, which the hotel will book for you on arrival and you can pick the size of car, depending on how many of you there are, which affects ... A poor hotel which promises much but delivers little, a small room a single really with a 4ft. bed stuck in one corner, however only for one night, ate in the restaurant poor selection of the boil in the bag variety meals, breakfast was a farce and extremely expensive £14 for a continental breakfast a real rip off just because I had not pre booked, however after complaining to the reception this was reduced to £10 per head still a rip off.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, the rooms were of a good size and linens spotless. Bar prices are high (they have a captive audience) but for an overnight pre-flight hotel with competitively priced and secure parking this was not an issue. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The car collection was 'streamlined' and worry free after a long flight.

Staff were very professional and courteous and the room was large, clean, tastefully decorated and adequately appointed. I would stay again.

Booked through APH with the parking behind the Shell garage for the week. Good clean hotel room with adequate facilities within. Our only gripe was the noise from the upstairs. It's not cheap and there is some personality at the hotel, but it's all at the front. The rooms are drab and lifeless, the gardens overgrown. Reception staff were great and perfect hosts. Decent holiday inn, the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, and the menu choice is limited. That said, the hotel is convenient for Gatwick Airport and they do operate a stay and park service with a 10 minute take ride to the airport. Well worth a look if you are going away early in the morning. Food quality was OK, breakfasts were good also. Stayed for one night prior to a holiday and impressed with service. Had a very good room for a reasonable rate. 10 minute drive to Gatwick South with taxis sorted by reception (and a number to phone for pick up). Left the car for 8 nights at the hotel and it was waiting by reception when we arrived back.

We stayed here the night before our flight to Jamaica. The price for the night and 10 days parking was reasonable and it was on the list of hotel park n ride on Thompson's who we were travelling with. The room was basic but that wasn't a problem it was for one night only. The car parking was the issue, irpt appeared that once you had gone off on your holiday your car was moved and more or less dumped anywhere. Hotel was clean and tidy and staff were friendly. Disappointed that they didn't have a shuttle to the airport given that it is an airport hotel however we took a taxi which the hotel booked for us. Restaurant was nice although we nearly didn't get a table as they were too busy however we weren't advised we may need to book a table when we checked in. Probably wouldn't stay again, there are nicer hotels that I would recommend over this one.
