Not sure why such a good hotel is situated here but glad we found it. Suited us as we had been visiting Rockingham Castle but not sure what else. It is in a car park with Wetherspoons, Dominoes, Subway and Greggs so plenty to eat nearby. Also plenty of parking. Check in was easy and soon we were in our room on 2nd floor. Nice modern room, heaps of room and clean and comfy. Bathroom was clean and modern. Good free wifi. Breakfast had a good range, hot and cold, self serve set up. Plenty of fruit.... Read more

The hotel was generally nice and the room was clean, however the bed was like an Ironing Board. My wife and I did manage some sleep, however my mother got out of her bed as 12:30 am and slept on the sofa.

I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel that was cleaner than this one! You could actually smell it was clean. The rooms are very modern and comfortable! My only small complaint was the sliding bathroom door that didn't sit flush with the door frame but I wouldn't let that put me off from staying here again

Great hotel and value for money. Rooms are excellent and the shower room as good as many 5* hotels. Comfortable bed, good TV and complimentary wifi. Let down only by all disabled spaces taken by non disabled cars! Spoke to reception but nothing done. Also a wedding was taking place and the noise from the disc, we were on lever 2, was most annoying although it did end by midnight and it was peaceful after that. So apart from those 2 issues its a great hotel and value for money.

Perfect location for anyone visiting Rockingham Speedway. Great staff, very professional. Rooms are adequate, although sheet on pull out bed had seen better days. Breakfast was good, juice very watered down. Evening meal choice very limited. All main meals from frozen and you'll probably know this because you might get yours still frozen! Must stress, staff very good at putting everything right when mentioned.

We chose this hotel after reading previous reviews, as my Daughter was in a swimming event near by in Corby. The added bonus was early breakfast at 6 am with a great choice on offer. Would return again. Or room was modern, clean & equipped with all the facilities expected. The staff were professional, welcoming, helpful & friendly,

After 12 months , not any sign of ware and tear, presented as brand new. Breakfast was an excellent selection. On loyalty programme, points and cash made economic sense. Ample free parking. Staff are all fantastic and very friendly. Room was very comfortable although I did seem to pick up a random leftover hair every time I seemed to drop something on the floor and pick it up. The shower pressure was fantastic. Couldn't have been happier than when I turned it to its most powerful on my first morning there. My joy was short lived. With in a min the shower was flooding. First of all the staff including cleaning staff were absolutely lovely and they're the only reason this review isn't a one star. They must be stressed out their minds considering how understaffed the place was. We were staying at the Hampton by Hilton Corby for 1 night so we could then drive down to a wedding the next day. The lift smelled really bad, like old ashtray, as did the landing on the 2nd floor which had a strong, damp smell. The actual room was clean enough but the functionality of it... Read more

I stay at this hotel every week for work and I have to say that the staff are AMAZING! You cannot fault them for always trying their best to make everyone happy. The bad news is the hotel is not a 4 stars by any stretch of the imagination. Room is very basic and the age is beginning to show trough the rust in bathrooms and blocked drains in bathrooms. Why the title? Well if you're travelling with someone else be aware that the washroom door is sliding etched glass and provides no privacy. There are large gaps between the door and the walls which allows all noises to penetrate into the room. Get up early to have a shower, don't expect your partner to sleep in! Also turn on the light in the middle of the night and the whole room is awash. This was someones idea of a design feature but it is fails miserably. Form follows function not the other ... Read more

The rooms are modern and provides everything that you need. But the food and services are really not good. There is no restaurant, it is mainly a little bar that offers limit options of easy to cook meals - by the way, not fresh and not good quality. Same for the breakfast. Cheap brands, buffet style and seats are limited. Okay for a cheap hotel. But I've paid £120 for the night and food in the hotel, despite the poor quality, was also expensive. Recent reviews simply amaze me. Clearly people have no idea of what H by H has, and how it fits into the market space. This hotel is excellent for what it is intended to do: a cheap comfortable night with great free breakfast. It doesn't have room service or a pool, nor does it have bellhops carrying your bags. A good hotel with friendly courteous staff and a good breakfast. I have used it on a number of stays and have never had any reason to complain. Quiet and comfortable. A good range of rooms. There is a bar although I have not used it. A Weatherspoons pub next door for reasonably priced food and drink.

The staff are great, the breakfast is fine. The room was nice and clean, the radio no good no stations at all. Anyway, the main thing is were do you sit to relax in nice comfortable chairs. There were table and chairs for eating breakfast at more like old MDF stock more like a cafe. But no where to sit and read or talk in comfort, just Big open spaces of nothing. A big let down this place needs a womens touch.
