On the plus side, my room was quiet, the breakfast was good, and the location and grounds of the hotel are delightful. Less pleasing was the bar area ( rather tired looking) and my bed which was distinctly lumpy. The bathroom was on the small side and needing updating. So my assessment overall is that my stay was generally fine, but not special

I stayed at this hotel with my sisters so that we could have a night out in Woking (not far away) I was a bit disappointed that when booking for 3 people we only had a double bed and a pull out. We are sisters so not the end of the world but we would have much preferred our own beds. Did exactly what was needed and hot tub was fab. Would stay again if I needed to be in the area.

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. We upgraded to an executive room a couple of days beforehand. The room was spacious and clean, there were glasses but no bottled water, a very sparse selection of tea and coffee, no hot chocolate or biscuits. One of the bath towels was thick and luxurious but the other was thin and frayed. The staff were pleasant and attentive but gave the impression that they didn't really know what they were doing. We asked reception if we could have a newspaper deli... Read more

I stayed here on 3/4 June 2016 as part of a competition win to visit the Epsom Derby. We arrived on the Friday and although a slight hiccup with our room booking, this was speedily rectified by the efficient but friendly receptionist. The room was spacious and had a lovely view over the garden. The receptionist also checked on us after arrival to confirm our satisfaction with the room. I've stayed at this hotel 5 times. For a girly spa getaway and also with my family and daughter. I'm never disappointed with the staff, who can never do enough to do make your stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant is always impeccable and the bar staff very friendly. However during my stay on the 2nd April 2016, an incident occurred that lasted over 6 hours, resulting in the police being called out. We attended a buffet luncheon to celebrate a birthday today and can honest say that Fawlty Towers would have been preferable. Cold plates for supposedly hot food, enough potatoes for 10 guests when over 40 were invited, cold veg and dreadful non-service. The tea and coffee served after the meal was quite disgusting. Honestly Hilton Hotels you should be ashamed.

Receptionsists and staff were all generally nice. We ate in the bar on the evening we got there. Burger was about £15 and not a sign of any lettuce or anything, just a measly few (like 7 or 8) chips on the side. Cheap & nasty bun and poor quality burger patty. I had a chicken tikka masala, i think it was £17 and again, not a lot there - i actually poured the curry and rice into one of the small bowls on my plate and it fitted easily. The hotel was easy to find, in a quiet area, no noise from roads. The twin room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was small, but clean and had everything there. The trip was a girls spa weekend. We had bed and breakfast and two course dinner, with a spa treatment and use of spa facilities. The treatments were good value for money. The pool and spa area was dated, and small. I stayed here this time last year and was happy enough, so much so that I wrote a generally positive review on this site. This time, however, was a major let-down. Let me list the issues: 1. The online check-in process is superfluous - I had to submit my credit card details once when I booked, again when I checked in online, again when I checked in at the desk and again when I checked out! It also gave me a map, from which I could supposedly choose my room. It was impossible to use on a mobile d... Read more

Hotel set in lovely grounds with deer running around. Went for a weekend hen party spa break fourteen people all age group. Greeted several people to assist with directions and help with cases. All staff very obliging, friendly and polite. Did report a broken bathroom lock which was not mended but request for more milk was delivered immediately. Our room was in a building not actually attached to main building. Only 4 meters but could get wet or windswept if weather inclement.

Not recommended. Rooms were really tired, a contrast to main guest areas. Service was poor especially at breakfast and the staff were really unhelpful and quite abrupt. Very friendly staff and good facilities. Situated in a very leafy and secluded area you'd be forgiven thinking you were in the middle of nowhere not on the outskirts of London. As I was leaving early to attend a meeting I went for break at 6:30am staff were friendly, the food was not as hot as I'd have liked so I didn't really enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. We stayed three nights, and on arriving asked if we could switch rooms as you could feel the springs in the mattress. We were shown two other rooms and one was better. The rooms are tired, but clean. However a refurb is needed. The hotel is tired and I'd have preferred to have stayed in a 3* hotel for less money as budget hotels often have little mod cons we all need. The staff are this hotels saving grace as they are polite, friendly, approachable and helpful.

The biggest positive of this hotel is that the service is excellent, and the staff are really attentive. The bed is really comfortable, and the bedroom is a decent size, with relatively okay décor. The bathroom was a bit tired. The shower was awful - no power at all. They attempt to charge £12.99 for 24 hours of internet, which is shockingly expensive. That being said (after a moan) they gave me access FoC. It was a bit flaky and dropped out fairly regularly, but apart from being a bit a... Read more

Cant fault this hotel or staff our day was perfect and I would recommend highly to anyone getting married. Food and staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel was so clean and tidy. Good value for money as well.

A tired hotel and not an obvious choice for me just a good location for my trip. It's all a bit 1980s, old fashioned carpets in public areas etc. No aircon in rooms, no bottled water in the room and no minibar - beds not specifically comfortable - can't recommend but may have to use next year for convenience of a nearby event

Overpriced, very average hotel, Rooms are a bit tired and run down. Stayed in a junior suite, which was quite different to what is expected - room was pretty tired. Expensive bar menu and drinks. Bed was comfy enough, and the room was reasonably quiet. Clean bathroom. Overall, it wasn't up to my expectations of a Hilton.... Kind of like a Hilton Express.

Being a Hilton Honors Silver Member. We booked an upgraded Twin Room with a Patio. ROOM 105 There were no spaces on the main car park so our lovely receptionist advised that we could park right outside our room on the overflow car park This was perfect as we were travelling to Richmond Dog show & the dogs were able to overnight in the car and we resolved to stay here again. The AC in the room was broken & so a fan was offered which we accepted not wishing to repack and move rooms Upon regi... Read more

We booked a spa break via last minute. Com and although the spa experience was of a good standard we didn't get the best nights sleep due to a not so comfy bed apart from this the room itself has all the essentials you would need. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with pleasant staff. I enjoyed the health club facilities. My only other downfall for this trip was the dinner menu in the restaurant very basic and not as flavoursome as we would have desired

we got a one night stay for £106 for 3 people including breakfast and dinner. Considering the price, it was good value. Meal was two course from the main menu and was enough to fill us (although other hiltons we have stopped in offer three courses for evening meal so being restricted to 2 courses was a little disappointing). Not up to the same standard as other hiltons we have stopped in. Room was tiny made worse by the put up bed added for my son (to walk across the room we had to climb ove... Read more

Having returned yesterday from a three night stay at the hotel, we could not fault anything. Having a dog he was made most welcome and we have a lovely room (103) which had a door our on to the lovely grounds, great for rabbit and mole hunting. Being so hot I could not eat a large breakfast, but my husband enjoyed a full breakfast, we had an evening meal which was very enjoyable. On the last night we were invited to have drinks with the management, a very nice gesture. The bedroom and bathroom w... Read more

Lovely stay here. We had the spa package for my husbands birthday. Staff friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast excellent and the massage we had was excellent. Thank you for girls who done a great job getting some tension off our shoulders. Always impressed with Hilton massages. Keep it up.

The food in the breakfast buffet and the Mediterranean grill is exceptionally good and the portions are very generous. The rooms are clean, well equipped, and well maintained. The staff and very courteous and helpful. There is a gym, spa and swimming pool, unfortunately, we were unable to use these as there for a wedding reception. There was a very strong smell of chlorine though in the area of the spa facilities. The help with the reception though was not so good as we asked 3 times for jugs of... Read more

My boyfriend and I had a lovely one-night stay here in early September. We were quickly checked in and directed to our room, which was clean, spacious and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had free wifi courtesy of the HHonours program. The bathroom was quite small, with a shower over the bath as opposed to a freestanding unit, but everything was clean and well-kept, with plenty of towels and toiletries. The courtyard area outside is beautiful. It was the perfect s... Read more

Another dissapointing night, No hot water, freezing cold shower. Overcharged in the bar..... The hotel were aware of the boiler issues and failed to inform me ahead of staying at the hotel. Not what I would expect from a Hilton Hotel

For a Hilton hotel, the Cobham hotel is below par. The rooms are tired. I could barely muster any water power for a shower and flushing the loo was was tough with so little water. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food on the evening was lovely, but the price was hefty and the wait very long. Brooklands Museum close by is worth a visit, but don't expect anything too special from this hotel.
