Had a lovely stay.At the Chester Court Hotel. The room was really good. With free toiletries. Lovely soft towels. Had a good night's sleep so quiet to say it's on a main road. Had a great breakfast. The Staff were so friendly. If we go to Chester again. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night for a races trip. Good location about 15 minutes walk into Chester on Hoole Road, comfortable room with a decent bathroom and a great breakfast, what else do you want for a couple of nights stay. Would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Visited Chester for 3 nights in November. Accommodation in family rooms (3 adults) in short supply so spent 2 of our 3 nights in Chester Court. Our room was in an annex (perhaps an old stable block) behind the main building and not impressed with accommodation - 3 single beds, small tv in corner but could only watch from bed as nowhere to sit in room. En suite shower room was nice and warm (unlike the bedroom which was very chilly) but the electric shower was really poor and either too hot or f... Read more

This friendly hotel is ideally located 1 mile from city centre. There is a unique race course, large zoo, cathedral, wonderful river, parks, unique "rows" for shopping, loads of differnt eating establishments and more than 2000 years of history to enjoy!

Stayed at this hotel for one night and checked out early! The door doesn't even lock from the inside and the phone kept going off during the night! Didn't get any sleep at all, there was banging coming from whatever storeroom was next to mine which was a box room with no space what so ever! I arrived early hours of the morning and it took me 20 minutes to figure out where my key was as the reception shuts at 10pm! Didn't feel safe at all and didn't get any sleep! When I told the receptionist wh... Read more

This is a small hotel on the outskirts of Chester. About 20 minutes walk from the centre. The hotel is on a main road and buses can be used if one wishes. The hotel is traditional with chalet buildings in the grounds. We stayed in one of these and although very small it was comfortable and warm and clean. The bed was excellent and despite not being far from the road we heard no traffic or noise at all. Our one complaint would be the shower which was electric and very poor with low water pressure... Only a 15 - 20 minute stroll from the City centre, with a few Pubs and restaurants even closer. We had a large and comfortable annexe room, with car parking directly outside. The main Hotel is very welcoming and clean. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfasts on both mornings of our stay.
