The hotel is just 15 minutes away from Mermaid Quay and the Capitol Shopping Centre, and only 5 minutes from the leisure park. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy with a hairdryer, tea making facilities, spare towels and pillows. I was surprised when I found out it was only 3 stars! The beds were so comfortable too! I would recommend staying here for anyone travelling to Cardiff.

Very comfotable room and bed. All staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good but dinner menu was rather limited. Easy access to bus into Cardiff city centre (leave car at hotel). Access to the hotel is easy from M4 and Eastern Anenue.

The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were attentive and pleasent and hotel facilities were very good with free parking and a good breakfast. the only negative comment I would make is that the dinner menu could be a little more adventurous. However this is my fourth stay here and I find it very convenient for both Cardiff city and Newport.

Stayed here for a weekend and the room was lovely, very clean and quiet. They also do late check out which is handy if you've had a late night. Location was also good, main Cardiff is only about a 15 minute drive

We booked the hotel late and had a very good deal which included breakfast. The hotel was clean and tidy, well decorated and bright. The reception staff were welcoming when we arrived. Breakfast was good considering it was included in the price of the room. The staff in the restaurant were friendly. Ideal hotel location if you are visiting Cardiff but don't want to stay right in the centre. Was only a 10 - 15 minute drive from Cardiff and very close to the M4 exit.

My wife and I stayed for one night and were pleasantly surprised. The room was nice, bed comfy and the shower was great. The wifi connection was very good. We arrived too late for the restaurant so we settled for a beer and sandwich and met friends for breakfast elsewhere, so I cannot really comment on the food, but the the surroundings seemed clean and comfortable. Free parking and easy check in and out. Would stay again.

Room was clean and breakfast was really good. Only thing is the person who checked us in wasn't very welcoming. Its a good thing another female colleague went to the rescue and we were given better welcoming service.

We booked into this hotel for a weekend to celebrate a friends birthday who lives in Cardiff. The room was okay and appeared to be recently renovated with new carpets throughout. The gym was run down and so was the outside of the building. The breakfast was poor and wast replenished. I approached the young girl on reception and asked to cancel breakfast for the following day. She refused and said it wasn't possible, I explained that the majority of the product had run out and wasn't replenished ... Read more

Hotel is near a good bus service. So we left the car and used the bus. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is no wardrobe but a hanging area which is the only draw back. The breakfast was lovely, it does say a bar but its only a little area but overall a great place

This hotel is exactly what you expect really. It's by no means amazing, but it provides everything you expect from a standard, budget hotel. I stay here at least 1-2 times per month as it's convenient for my work over this way and situated close enough to the town centre to take a 10-15 min cab ride if needed. Small gym, restaurant and bar all fairly average, and the rooms while basic are comfortable enough for a short stay. I certainly can't complain though when you consider I pay less tha... Read more

My partner, daughter and I stayed here on Saturday night after seeing a local band. The hotel was clean, the staff welcoming, and the bedrooms spacious, though we found the pillows weren't too comfy. We had a very enjoyable evening meal, and there were plenty of options for breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately, we weren't advised at reception that you needed to insert your room card into a slot in the bedroom to get the lights to work. I'd trotted back downstairs to ask the night p... This is a nice hotel with ample free carpark, placed outside of Cardiff, but easily reached by car. The room was of a good size, with everything you might need. It is clean and with a good shower. Good double bed and a sofa. The room was also provided with hairdrier.

My partner and I stayed here the night before our trampolining competition and finally arriving at midnight, the staff were friendly, it was nice hotel with a good breakfast, all was good apart from the fact that we were given a twin room instead of the double we booked.

Clean friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Location is a bit out of the centre. Group travel made taxi costs acceptable but if you travelled in and out singly this would put the price of the stay up. Clean hotel with concern for the environment.

We had a lovely ceremony in the civic centre with a nice drive through the city to the hotel. The hotel was busy and they got the name of the groom wrong on the welcome board this was corrected but the brides name was then misspelt.. the hotel was ok... just ok though staff not very attentive at the bar I ordered a double tia maria and coke and a packet of crisps the total was 10.00 complete rip off a bottle.of bud ranged from 4.10 to 4.70 depending in who served you

My wife and I had a perfect night away at the Park Inn - I could not fault anything. It started off excellent as we were able to check in at midday and enjoy our room. All the staff we very helpful and polite. They helped us with bus routes and directions. We caught the 57 into the city centre which took around 15mins. A return ticket was £3. The bus stop was around 3min walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the restaurant was well presented and tasted ... Read more

The Park Inn by Radisson is very quiet, even though on a busy highway. We were on route to the Royal Mint the next day, so it was dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and very comfortable. In fact I had one of the best nights sleep I have had in ages! Dinner was a bit of a strange mix, more buffet style, but as it was all included with our trip to the Royal Mint, it was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you could want, even Grapefruit segments and juice to... Read more

In normal circumstances I could imagine you could review this hotel as high as 4/5. Our stay was a bit if let down. Firstly, having booked a double room we were initially put in a single, thankfully changed without much fuss. In our new room, we were really disappointed. Door handle to the bathroom was hanging off, the room smelt like stake smoke the whole time and most annoyingly the key cards for the door stopped working on a daily basis. Otherwise, the room is a decent size, the breakfas... Read more

A very average hotel, badly organised parking full of BT vans, a bland breakfast and dull room. Conference facilities were ok but this is a very forgettable hotel. Unfortunately it fails to be a friendly small/local hotel or a high quality chain

Disappointing for a Radisson. Had to ask for a change of rooms due to the smell of stale tobacco smoke in the room. The 2nd room also smelled of tobacco smoke but not as bad...too tired toask for another change. Lots of BT vans straddling 2 parking bays so parking was tight. Room service was ok but forgot my drink so and no receipt left. A hotel showing its age and in need of an update.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the clean and comfortable room. The hotel gives free parking, fast wifi, newspaper and also a gym. The staff are all welcoming and friendly by opening doors for us and bringing us an iron and ironing board. Only downside is that it is a 15 minute drive from the city centre.

Our coach party stayed here overnight, en route to Ireland and again on the way back. We enjoyed 2 x evening meals and breakfasts, buffet style and all were very enjoyable. Our rooms, 209 & 210 were wonderful, spacious, large bathroom, shower; tv; hairdrier, kettle / drinks etc. Large comfy beds. Only disadvantage: we were on the outskirts of Cardiff so nowhere close by to have a walk to? Car park is pay & display. Free wifi; there is a gym on site. We would stay here again.

One night stay before a dance competition in Cardiff. Very impressed with this hotel, great value for money, lovely big bedrooms, spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. I thought you might be interested in a story about how a hotel group in the Cardiff area is using the collapse of lowcostholidays to heap even more misery on those affected. I booked a room last March at the Park Inn North by Radisson for the Wales v Ireland match 10th March 2017 for the great price of £69. However, on hearing of the travel agents collapse I contacted the hotel to confirm that a room had been booked in my name for that date. They confirmed that it had and I informed them that ... We stayed Friday to Monday for 49 GBP per night inclusive of a good breakfast, which we felt was good value. The staff were friendly and the room was fine, but there was rather too much noise transmission from the adjacent bathrooms (water flow noise etc.). The hotel is not in a particularly nice location should you wish to take an evening stroll, but is otherwise convenient for access to the city by car.

The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The breakfast was as you would expect at a Park Inn - and just that little bit better. The room was disappointing. The plug in the shower was blocked, the air conditioner leaked so much that it soaked that part of the carpet overnight and filled an inch in the bucket over breakfast. Worst of all was the mattress - it was well overdue for throwing out and replacing. If it hadn't been for the room, then our stay would have been perfect.

Stayed here for a family break in Cardiff with a trip to Barry island. Rooms were ok and clean. The air conditioner took a bit of work to get going and one of our towels had an odd stain on it. The staff were very helpfull and polite in fact if there was a seperate mark for this idgive them and excellent rating. We used the resurant two nights in a row as there was fourteen of us and a table could be quickly put together. I really enjoyed my meal on both nights.

I posted this review under Park Inn Cardiff North - however, someone (the hotel?) decided to move it to another property. This is a review for Cardiff North Park Inn. Cardiff was fully booked our during ??Graduation Week??, hence I ended up at this Park Inn.
