Booked in with a large group of Carten cyclists and the staff looked after us superbly well in every aspect, rooms, supper and breakfast - brilliant service all down to good staff!! The rooms are always comfortable and on the mark - well done again ??

Premier inn gets it right most of the time, always well located near a train station and within walking distance to the town centre. The rooms are comfy, although they could put an arm chair in each room to add to comfort. On entry the staff were quite friendly, but the breakfast staff could be a bit more customer friendly. Overall I would always use Premier Inn.

we wanted to go to a city centre hotel so we chose the premier inn in churchill way cardiff not your usual premier inn it is huge about nine floors and has its own restaurant and bar what more could we want we had a view of the city but could see one of the best stadiums in the world to watch rugby union the principality stadium (millenium) so were right in the shopping area of cardiff five minute walk from the shops bars resteraurants we had a great stay and have booked for our next trip.

9th floor room with superb views. Very quiet and central location. Restaurant breakfast great for me and my daughter who are coeliacs and vegetarian son. Daniel prepared two breakfasts separately to avoid buffet cross contamination and we were both fine! Thank you Daniel and other staff.

Stayed here a couple of days ago the hotel is lovely a great building and as my wife and kids would say close to shopping centre the family room is spacious. The staff are so friendly and willing to help you anyway possible. And the breakfast is amazing will definitely stay here again even tho my wife and daughter spent a fortune in the shops.

From the extremely friendly welcome to the hope to see you again this hotel was great. In the centre of the city less than five min walk to the main shopping areas ,this premiere inn lives up to its brand promises . Nice size room spotless with plenty of hot water. Fantastic comfortable bed . We had the Neal deal well worth the price good hot food polite staff both at dinner and at breakfast .. Plenty of choice for breakfast hot plates and food constantly being set out. All staff always saying... Read more

About 20 minutes walk from the central station and very close to the shopping centre and plenty of restaurants. A good view (10 floors) and typically comfortable rooms. An iron is available if you ring reception although the board was a bit lumpy. Free wifi was fine if a little slow. Breakfast was fine (£9 per adult, free for kids). There is a bar & restaurant but we didn't use this. £110 for 2 nights was decent value for Cardiff.

Upon arrival we weren't greeted by any members of staff; they were too busy seeing to a group of other guests. So we made our way to the self-check in booths, which in fairness were easy to use. We made our way to the room which was spacious; the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy and there was also a spare bed in the room. The view is fantastic; but it's a shame we were overlooking the opposite flats and not an eagle eye view of the city, but overall, it was okay! :)

Stayed for two night in the Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre, I have stayed in the Premier Inn Hotels in many different cities and they are brilliant value for money. The Cardiff City hotel is just a short walk from the main train station and very central to all the main attractions of the city. As usual the hotel was spotlessly clean with all the facilities in the room anyone could want also the night time promise of a peaceful nights sleep as usual was correct. I got the room on their own saver... Read more

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff provided excellent services and was available at any time. The room was clean, excepth for some minor beverage marks on wall. Also, there wasn't a couch in the room, which would have helped with comfort, Overall a good experience.

Well positioned for shopping, restaurants and bars. Train station just over the road, handy for the main station or to go to Cardiff Bay. Friendly staff everywhere. Nice bar area and restaurant, although we didn't eat in the restaurant the food looked good. There is a lot of room to sit and have a Costa coffee in reception area or the bar area. Rooms clean and comfortable, we were on the ninth floor so good view all round.

This is a 10 storey building, we were on the 9th floor....with thankfully fully working lifts! Our room was on the side of the building so we could see The Principality Stadium and Castle and over most of the City. The room was spacious and clean and the air conditioning system worked a treat. The staff were always very friendly and chatty with a smile every time you entered the building. The food in the restaurant was excellent and not badly priced. Had a 2 week stay here while working locally and the hotel is up to date and spacious. It's very well maintained, in an excellent central position and offers all the usual premier inn perks. Large in house bar and food. Within short walking distance of many local attractions. Possibly the largest room I've ever had at a premier inn. Only down why have such a tiny tv ?

The location was excellent, a 2 minute stroll into the city. Hotel was very clean and simple with no added extras. Breakfast was great, plenty to eat and very hot. Staff were keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The hotel was situated in Wind Street where there were lots of eating places which catered for all pockets. Will definitely return there when next visit Swansea

Stayed overnight with friends after night out. Very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the hotel as it is perfectly situated in the city to be able to eat out. There is no car park at the hotel but there are plenty around. We left our car parked at the Pellett Street NCP car park at a cost of just £7 for 24 hours. We would definitely stay again.

An excellent location staff were very friendly and offered excellent service. Perfect location for all attractions. Food was exceptional absolutely brilliant. Service in the restaurant was perfect. Room was spotlessly clean. Entered my room and it was like an oven in there because it is a glass fronted building but the superb air con soon had the room at a comfortable temperature. All together a perfect stay. Best premier inn I have stayed in.

Great location for Cardiff Queen street station and the city centre. It's a Premier Inn so you know it's going to be ok. Clean large well appointed room in good order at a good price. I didn't use the restaurant or bar so can't comment on them. I'd certainly stay here again. The only downside to this hotel is the parking - it's a couple of minutes walk away but the rate is discounted I believe. There is no parking at the front of the hotel unless you brave the no parking areas and the disabled ... Read more

We had good impressions of the hotel all around with mixed impressions of the City of CARDIFF itself.. Once at the hotel --after an unnecessarily complicated walk from Cardiff Central train station --we were quite pleased with the lodgings. The walk from the Central Train station should only be 10 to 15 minutes on foot (a fairly direct cross-town route of east to west), but computer map services were routing us through closed shopping malls and closed arcades that looked like traditional roads... We regularly stay at Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre Hotel whenever we need to spend the night in Cardiff. The hotel is situated on Churchill Way which is off the main Queen Street shopping area. The staff are always very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean, fresh with flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi, bath and over bath shower. Stayed here for the fourth time and although it still offers the same premier inn value and location as it always has, unfortunately the hotel has lost its previous 5 out of 5 rating from me. The rooms and public areas are not as fresh as they once were, peeling wallpaper in the bar and corners that have not been vacuumed. The room we stayed in had a tiny TV which could barely be heard above the drone of the air con. The bathroom in the room had damaged panels and the toilet seat did not fit pro... Read more

Excellent quality accommodation. Given a family room on the 9th floor. Amazing views and good amount of space to all have a great nights sleep, after seeing the sights of Cardiff. Will definitely return again. Children (11 and 6) very happy. Great steak in the restaurant next door (steak of art)... Although service not as good there as at the premier inn. Well done to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you.
