We stayed the night prior to an early flight from Bristol Airport. Unlike the usual glum airport hotels, we were really impressed with this one and will come back to explore the area. Check in receptionist was really friendly and enthusiastic about the hotel and local area. Room was clean and nicely furnished with comfortable bed and everything you need for a short stay although perhaps a little on the small side. Dinner was enjoyable although I would have liked my mains to be better seasoned. ... Read more

The Hotel was everything we wanted, a good start to our holiday, and we also stayed on our return, good and relaxing. Lovely restaurant, good menu, good food. Service also really good, all in all a good hotel, we will stay there again. It was good to leave our car at the hotel until our return and we were transported to and from the airport very easily.

The service for car parking and transport to and from the airport was excellent. And indeed cheaper than Bristol airport parking and with the transport to and from Winford Manor, even at a late hour, meant that I was not having to trail my bag around the airport parking when tired to try to find the car with a stick, because I am disabled. The staff were very helpful at all times, even in the early late pick up. The array available at breakfast was good and the cooked breakfast was great with... Read more

Been coming here for several years now, so clearly like this place but....There has been a change around of staff and an impression now given is that the hotel is severely understaffed at times and staff under pressure. So the best bits are that the rooms are clean although no biscuits and only 2 milks, give the feeling of cutting back!Nice bar area but have to wait for reception staff to finish booking people in before being served. The evening meals (as always) are brilliant, great value for mone... We had a 07:00 take off time ‚?? so wanted to stay some where local. I found this hotel and booked it. We were very impressed. The rooms were modern and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. It was very quiet and we had a taxi booked from the hotel at 04:30 in the morning and it was there and on time ‚?? and probably took less than 10 minutes to get us to the airport. A well recommended place to stay.

This hotel was recommended by a friend as a good way to start our holiday...it was perfect. Our family room was vast, the bar area very nice and it wasn't noisy at all. We were up at 5 and had the dining room to ourselves for a nice continental breakfast. We sat and ate watching the deer on the lawn then simply handed over my car keys, loaded the cases to the minibus and took the 5 min drive to Bristol Airport....away.... On return we found the dedicated phone, it was answered immediately and ... Read more

First time user and whilst it was handy for our early flight the food the night before was inedible. No charge made but left hungry which was not the point. Never really understood why places feel they have done you a turn but not charging for a meal you actually wanted/needed. Staff very pleasant but do not think we would use again.

I reviewed this hotel rather negatively but then became sick. I must commend the staff especially AJ A waitress with first aid training who was so attentive, authoritative and caring and who really got me sorted in the initial stages. Also additional front of house staff who assisted and the kindness and understanding of the hotel. Thank you very much.

The Hotel provides their own Curtesy Coach lift to the airport on a regular 24 hour basis. The evening meal was very good and the early morning buffet breakfast was excellent value.

Stayed here with other members of the family for one Saturday night. First impression was good, exterior of hotel nice, set in beautiful grounds. Reception area quite bland and sparse, could do with making more welcoming. Staff were helpful, cleaning a room so we could book in early and all get changed for the wedding we had travelled up for. However the bar area menus showed some food (baguettes & sandwiches) available 24/7 but when we ordered at 11am on a Saturday we were advised there w... Read more

Staff has been friendly and supportive (e. g. taking care of all formalities directly at check-in to save time in the morning). Stayed here as we had an early flight from Bristol. Check in was a bit clunky and we had to come back later to pay. Room on the second floor was fine. Bed was comfy but the shower in the wet room didn't know when to quit and the floor was very slippy. Food was edible however the croutons on my husband's salad were missing. Eating in the bar is tricky as the tables are so low. I probably wouldn't return.

Such a beautiful location and such friendly helpful staff. We loved the ducks in the fountain as well :). We had an evening meal, which was of a high standard. Good qualoty local produce. Flying out from Bristol the Winford Manor is perfectly located, it takes about 10 minutes to get the the airport, though the road is a bit narrow before the main road.
