Perfect location for a City Stay. Surrounded by places to eat and drink. Great Radison standard in everything including the breakfast. The lift system needs attending to. Slow and frustratingly infrequent stopping. Only complaint I can make.

This is an excellent hotel. Set on the docks. Lovely views of the city. 2 - 3 minute walk to cathedral. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants in close proximity. The rooms are very large, clean, with large window. There is a kettle, iron and hair dryer in the rooms. Definitely worth the cost. Would stay again.

We had booked an independent murder mystery meal which is held in various locations through the UK. Ours happened to be held at The Radisson Blu in Bristol. We have no issues with the Murder Mystery staff, or the independent organisation that managed the booking, they were all amazing - and we had a great time. Unfortunately though the staff at the Radisson were unfriendly and unaccommodating. At the bar, the bar staff were downright rude - barely acknowledging us when we ordered our drinks and ... good hotel it is very close to the quays were there are numerous bars and restaurants and good night life the hotel is clean with friendly staff the hotel has basic rooms and a comfy bed we did not eat here so i cannot comment on the food the drinks are expensive in the bar and the outside seating area could do with a refurb but an ok hotel

So a one night stay on a Monday night whilst on business. A reasonable room rate and breakfast for a city centre hotel. Excellent room on the 5th floor and I was glad to be on the 5th. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good with a good variety. And now to the lifts. They are slow so get a room on a lower floor or you will spend more time in the lobby than the room. As I was leaving I had a very entertaining journey in one of the lifts. Got on at the 5th went to the first up to the 15t... Read more

Clean and well located hotel. Nice breakfast with freshly cooked eggs on request. The Staff were friendly and efficient checking in/out and getting a taxi during rush hour. Special mention goes to a lady called Miriam, very helpful and responsive when I realised I left something in the room after checking out. Well done

Excellent weekend. Staff first rate. Hotel very central. Fantastic view of the Floating Harbour from our 16th floor room - once we got accustomed to the floor to ceiling window. Only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was because the lifts seem to have a mind of their own - I suspect that the buttons inside the lift over-ride any request from someone calling the lift.

My fiancée and I stayed here for a little weekend city break and the hotel is great for what it is. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to pretty much everything in the heart of the city. Cabot Circus is five minutes walk, and the waterfront and Park Street are right on the doorstep. The staff were very polite and charming making us feel very welcome. The rooms were good - good size beds, comfortable, big screen TV, bathrooms were pristine and all the usual little amenities wer... Read more

Huge selection to choose from during b/f. Very historical place and a lot to see near by great view from Cabot tower e.t.c. Keep up the good work guys???

Stayed with friends for a couple of days in June. Great hotel in a good location, close to the harbour and the centre of the city. Would definitely recommend for any type of trip. We were upgraded to business class rooms without request which was an added bonus. Many thanks Radisson.

We stayed here recently on the first night of our honeymoon, the staff were amazing on our welcome, super friendly and made us feel so welcome. If you can get a room on the 17th floor do, the views of the city are amazing. Can't fault anything with our stay here and will definitely come back.

This hotel is very centrally located, close to most of the main attractions, restaurants and bars around the waterfront. Even Clifton is not far, just 10 to 15 minutes walk up Park Street. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with a good walk-in shower. Great view from the 9th floor. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Having not stayed in a Radisson Blue hotel before I wasn't sure what to expect but this one was particularly good. Large comfortable room, very quiet with a decent bathroom. The location helps being right in the centre of Bristol. Check in was smooth and we took advantage of the valet parking option. Good value for money option in the centre of this great city.

Arrived here at noon to be able to check in early. Doubled up on soap after Glastonbury which the team were very helpful to our request. Hotel has king size bed and very spacious room. TV 40 inch also for viewing pleasure (which we did after 5 days camping at an amazing glasto). Room didn't have a view except of the apartments across the way although hotel is perfectly located right downtown in Bristol. We will be back.

Large, comfortable room with good views. Good choice for breakfast but I think there were flies swimming in the orange juice! The toilets in the bar area were so filthy, I could not use them. Fortunately a cleaner arrived as I was exiting the toilets. The valet parking service was USELESS! On checking in we advised we would need to collect the car at 9am the following morning. When we arrived we were told that the car was not be ready as they thought we wanted it for 11am. The paperwork clearly... Read more

excellent hotel in a good area next to the quay with lots of choice of bars and restaurants. The views from the higher floors are superb, the staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. We used the valet parking which was so convenient. Cost £24 for each 24 hours which is pretty much average for city parking. Only 15-20 minutes walk from Cabot Circus, the up-market shopping area or you could buy a 2 day open-top bus ticket and hop on and off . I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Used the hotel as a base for the Grillstock festival. Modern hotel with very helpful staff. The harbour view rooms are a must. There are good bars and restaurants only a short walk away. A minor fault was that only 1 elevator was working which was annoying. We will stay here again.

Hotel is well positioned for everything. Big downside is that it seems its the only hotel in that vicinity that does not have any agreed rates with local car parks. You need to use the hotels valet service £24/24 hours or park yourself £21/24 hours. Both use the nearby NCP. Make sure you factor this in to your room rate ! [as a comparison the Bristol Hotel utilises the same NCP and 24 hour rate id £5 !!]. The hotel itself is Ok. Check in and check out were cumbersome and both took a while and... Read more

A large group of us were staying for 3 days of business meetings and everything was first class. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 17th floor facing the river and the room not only had an upstairs lounge but also access to the roof terrace. Breakfast was great, business facilities excellent and the hotel couldn't do enough for us. To cap it all the hotel is located in a great spot with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Parking is valet parking - £24 a day.

This is a well located hotel right in the City Centre. Although probably designed for those on business, it's really fine for leisure sightseers. We had an Executive Room on the 15th Floor with great views over the city. It's worth asking for a high floor room. The service was simply dreadful from the front desk to the closed on a Sunday restaurant. Not nearly enough staff and those there were slow and disinterested. The only exception being the car park concierge guy who was so helpful and polite. Breakfast was rubbish, restaurant dark & dingy, no tables cleared and coffee machine ran out every 5 minutes. Unbelievable! The only redeeming feature was the best aircon we have ever had in an English hotel.

This hotel has great beds, quiet rooms, and a great restaurant. There are some drawback however. If you bring a car then it is quite hard to get to if you don't know Bristol, and when you get there they will charge you £24/night for parking. Horrifying I hear you say, except the NCP just down the street charges only a couple of £ less and you have to park it yourself. Having stayed here several times I still love the top rooms and the views and privacy is the best. We have a lovely time and enjoy the stays. But......the lifts are in a serious need of refurbishment before something happens. It was obvious that many people were not happy and when you're on the 16th floor, stairs are not an option..!! It is pricy so if you're on a tight budget it's probably not a place to stay...!!?? Fantastic location as well.

I chose it because it is one of the few in the centre with double beds. Excellent location. Good rooms (albeit mattress too soft for me) with good A/C and working minifridge. Large TV. No mini-bar is supplied. Helpful service. No idea about breakfast nor bar, as I did not use it. Supermarket very close for fetching snacks and beverages. The only problem is with the lifts (2), as for a 18 storey building gets too crowded at peak hours.
