Perfect location for a City Stay. Surrounded by places to eat and drink. Great Radison standard in everything including the breakfast. The lift system needs attending to. Slow and frustratingly infrequent stopping. Only complaint I can make.

This is an excellent hotel. Set on the docks. Lovely views of the city. 2 - 3 minute walk to cathedral. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants in close proximity. The rooms are very large, clean, with large window. There is a kettle, iron and hair dryer in the rooms. Definitely worth the cost. Would stay again.

We had booked an independent murder mystery meal which is held in various locations through the UK. Ours happened to be held at The Radisson Blu in Bristol. We have no issues with the Murder Mystery staff, or the independent organisation that managed the booking, they were all amazing - and we had a great time. Unfortunately though the staff at the Radisson were unfriendly and unaccommodating. At the bar, the bar staff were downright rude - barely acknowledging us when we ordered our drinks and ... So a one night stay on a Monday night whilst on business. A reasonable room rate and breakfast for a city centre hotel. Excellent room on the 5th floor and I was glad to be on the 5th. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good with a good variety. And now to the lifts. They are slow so get a room on a lower floor or you will spend more time in the lobby than the room. As I was leaving I had a very entertaining journey in one of the lifts. Got on at the 5th went to the first up to the 15t... Read more

Special mention goes to a lady called Miriam, very helpful and responsive when I realised I left something in the room after checking out. Well done

Excellent weekend. Staff first rate. Hotel very central. Fantastic view of the Floating Harbour from our 16th floor room - once we got accustomed to the floor to ceiling window. Only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was because the lifts seem to have a mind of their own - I suspect that the buttons inside the lift over-ride any request from someone calling the lift.

My fiancée and I stayed here for a little weekend city break and the hotel is great for what it is. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to pretty much everything in the heart of the city. Cabot Circus is five minutes walk, and the waterfront and Park Street are right on the doorstep. The staff were very polite and charming making us feel very welcome. This hotel is very centrally located, close to most of the main attractions, restaurants and bars around the waterfront. Even Clifton is not far, just 10 to 15 minutes walk up Park Street. Having not stayed in a Radisson Blue hotel before I wasn't sure what to expect but this one was particularly good. Large comfortable room, very quiet with a decent bathroom. The location helps being right in the centre of Bristol. Check in was smooth and we took advantage of the valet parking option. Good value for money option in the centre of this great city.

Arrived here at noon to be able to check in early. Doubled up on soap after Glastonbury which the team were very helpful to our request. Hotel has king size bed and very spacious room. TV 40 inch also for viewing pleasure (which we did after 5 days camping at an amazing glasto). Room didn't have a view except of the apartments across the way although hotel is perfectly located right downtown in Bristol. We will be back.

Large, comfortable room with good views. Good choice for breakfast but I think there were flies swimming in the orange juice! The toilets in the bar area were so filthy, I could not use them. Fortunately a cleaner arrived as I was exiting the toilets. The valet parking service was USELESS! On checking in we advised we would need to collect the car at 9am the following morning. excellent hotel in a good area next to the quay with lots of choice of bars and restaurants. The views from the higher floors are superb, the staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. We used the valet parking which was so convenient. Cost £24 for each 24 hours which is pretty much average for city parking. Only 15-20 minutes walk from Cabot Circus, the up-market shopping area or you could buy a 2 day open-top bus ticket and hop on and off . I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Used the hotel as a base for the Grillstock festival. Modern hotel with very helpful staff. The harbour view rooms are a must. There are good bars and restaurants only a short walk away. A minor fault was that only 1 elevator was working which was annoying. We will stay here again.

Hotel is well positioned for everything. Big downside is that it seems its the only hotel in that vicinity that does not have any agreed rates with local car parks. You need to use the hotels valet service £24/24 hours or park yourself £21/24 hours. Both use the nearby NCP. Make sure you factor this in to your room rate ! [as a comparison the Bristol Hotel utilises the same NCP and 24 hour rate id £5 !!]. The hotel itself is Ok. Check in and check out were cumbersome and both took a while and... Read more

The service was simply dreadful from the front desk to the closed on a Sunday restaurant. Not nearly enough staff and those there were slow and disinterested. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are nice but we had no windows to open in the room for fresh air and the window we did have was forward facing an adjacent building so we had no view, if you take your car be expected to pay £22 for parking as it's an extra when you arrive but you have no choice so be prepared. Came here for a weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The bed was like a cloud and the bathroom was amazing. The only issues I would say is that from our window you were met with the view of a wall and nothing else, and the server on the bar seemed like he couldn't really be bothered to be there. Apart from that it was a great experience and the staff were lovely.

Clean and comfortable. Staff on the front desk were very friendly. Would have been 5* however the child's camp bed took up so much space in the room as it was placed at the end of the bed that the room felt cramped. Location was ideal for us as you are seconds walk from restaurants on the hotel. Watch out for all the smoke from people smoking right by the entrance though, unpleasant when with children.

Spent a long weekend in the city - have stayed at Rad's before, so know what they're like. Slow check-in; room was excellent and very large; well-appointed. Had a view of Quay and River, all the way to SS GB. Breakfasts are awesome - plenty of choice and no trouble for the chef, if you wanted something else, not on offer from the menu. Lifts are exceedingly slow and you may have to wait a while for one! Valet parking is hassle-free and worth it.

Last night, my sister and two friends visited your restaurant before a show. We were running a bit late due to the adverse weather so we phoned to let them know and they were fine with us being a bit late. We were shown our table and placed our food and drink order, we waited a least 20 mins for our drinks order to arrive (there was only 2 other people in the restaurant), I order a white wine spritzer with soda water, I got white wine with tonic water. The food eventually arrived and we were ... Read more

This was the hotel which we walked past every day last year so this year we thought that we'd save on the shoe leather and aching joints. We parked in the Trenchard Street Carpark, which was only a five minute walk from the hotel and cost only £27 from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, and arrived at the Radisson on a gloomy afternoon. Check-in was quick and very easy and a few moments later we were opening the door to our room. Wow! The room was very big and the decor and wardrobe space wer... Read more

We were in Bristol for a gig at the Colston Hall. Located just across the road from the venue, the Radisson is a great place to stay. Right on the quay-side, the hotel is smart inside, the staff are friendly and professional. Our room was lovely and spacious, well-appointed, comfy bed and pillows and a great bathroom. Breakfast was really awesome (apart from the rubber black pudding!), lots of choice and a good relaxed vibe. All in all, a fabulous night away. Thanks!

Arrived earlier than expected but found our room was ready for us. Check in was pretty quick and easy we were staying in a business class room where you were to receive a few extra touches like robes/slippers/ extra tv channels and a morning paper. Room was on floor twelve which when there was just the two lifts sometimes caused a few problems. Room was clean but slightly on the small size. After a night at the rugby and a good nights sleep I rang to reception to say that my paper hadn't arrived... Read more

This is our 4th stay at the Radisson Blu Bristol (we first stayed there when our daughter started university in Bristol) and would not want to stay anywhere else. Beautifully and stylishly decorated with super comfortable beds, generous bathrooms and caring staff. The Filini Restaurant is very good and there is everything you could possibly wish for on the breakfast menu including a fresh orange juice squeezer. If you can, opt for one of the superior rooms as the views are fantastic from the ... Read more

Very nice hotel, arrived early and staff very helpful, attempted to find us a room however none were available at that time, our bags were put to one side to allow us to get them when check in was available. Room was clean and presentable, good view from room with a good location to the shopping areas and Temple Meads station. Pillows are soft (Duck feather pillows) and not to my personal liking but that is not the hotels fault. Bath takes a long time to fill and water isn't the hottest. Nice ba... Read more

Having established that the bar was out of stock of Bailey's - it apparently comes as a surprise that quite a lot of it gets consumed over a weekend - I had my surprise, to be told that the price for a standard size bag of crisps was £2.50. Guys, you're in Bristol, not Mayfair. We did without. Everything else about this hotel is middle of the road, but my gob was totally smacked by the awful bar experience - no apology or reaction from the deadpan bartender.

I am a Bristol resident, and I can safely say that The Radisson Blu is known as a nice enough hotel. It is one of the most centrally located buildings in the city, so it perfect for visitors. Being taller than most other buildings in the city, the view from the upper floors is GREAT! The interior of the hotel is modern and nice. I recommend it.
