Took the wife away to Bristol for a night, couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay in. From booking the hotel over the phone to checking out , the staff were all top notch, the hotel modern, clean and well equipped, we will definitely be returning soon! ??????????

The place is ideally located next to the water and close to the centre. The hotel itself is well presented. The rooms are great, big, comfy and always clean with extra pillows etc. Stayed numerous times and the staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Stayed at Mercure Brigstow Saturday night. Booked privilege room, found to be excellent. Have stayed here a few times, and never been disappointed . Great hotel with convenient parking, and good location for city centre and restaurants. Breakfast also very good. Nice place and polite staff, can't fault this hotel.

The Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel is a very nice location in Bristol. It's located near the Bristol Bridge and it's very close to the Harbour Bay. Very comfortable, very quiet, nice restaurant/breakfast.

I have a very conflicting feelings on this hotel. I was expecting more from this considering the images and previous review. This is not luxurious by any means, it was an Average stay at a disappointing hotel, needs massive refurbishment. It was an average stay but not to be returning again. There is really nothing special about rooms with a view so I would advice not to put your money on that. Pros: 1. Staff is lovely 2. breakfast is very good and plenty 3. location near shopping and a bus r... Read more

Was just here for one night so a flying visit, the hotel is in a great waterside location,so easy to get into town to bars restaurants etc. The hotel was very clean& appealing and all the staff were very polite& friendly. Our room was clean and perfectly adequate, decent size wardrobe, tea& coffee making facilities, also a iron. The shower was a wet room type one that took a while to get hot and was hardly a power shower! the bath was normal size ,disabled facilities were present . The bed was only... Read more

We dined here as part of a reunion celebration, with some 40/50 others in a private room. We felt so sorry for the organiser, who was badly let down by the hotel. The meal was simply not good enough for a professional establishment. Ham hock terrine was tasteless and mainly jelly. Beef bourguignon was poured over a mountain of mashed potato and gave the appearance of school dinners. It tasted like school dinner, too. A cod dish was supposed to be accompanied by a Pernod and tarragon sauce,... Read more

Great hotel, location is perfect. The hotel is clean, quirky, cosy and yet very modern. All I would say is that if you would like a room overlooking the river you need to ask for this when booking, I expect they are more expensive. Overall a great stay and will definitely go back.

The Mercure Bristol Brigstow is excellently located in the heart of Bristol making it an ideal base whether you're on a business or leisure trip. Located on the waterfront and with many restaurants and bars within easy reach, you'd struggle to find a better placed hotel in the city. The hotel itself is of good standard, with a smart lobby and pleasant restaurant and bar on the ground floor. The rooms are a little dated in their design, but are well furnished, very clean and comfortable. The ... Read more
