This hotel is slap bang in the middle of Bristols waterfront. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby and it is a pleasant lively area. The hotel is a standard Ibis, the room with all the usual amenities. We spent a comfortable night and enjoyed a lively evening drinking and dining along the waterfront. The only slight problem was we parked in the wrong car park and didn't get our discount.

From booking on line to one line check in no issues. On arrival awesome male receptionis who couldn't have done more. Room very clean and perfect. Bathroom pod was very clean and powerful shower. Good nights sleep. Breakfast staff and food was very good. Staff very helpful food was very tasty and hot. Had late check out which was good and check out seemless. Will be booking for same weekend next year. Would recommend.

The Ibis hotel located on the Millenium site in Bristol is close to theatre land, the aquarium and SS Great Britain In the docks. The hotel is ideal for an overnight or two night stay but I am not sure I would to stay here any longer. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the bedrooms are comfortable. The downside is the breakfast room which is somewhat cramped and as a consequence causes queuing at breakfast time.

The Ibis has a lot going for it. very good service from its staff who were more than helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic and bed hard and room too hot and felt a little run down . The resturant however had a good basic menu with reasonable prices and the position was great for the event I attended. I definately would stay there again for its convenience .of note if you want a guitar night go higher up was loud till well after midnight on 1st floor

This hotel is ideally situated for the harbour area and is most suitable for a tourist. A nice walk around the quay takes you to the SS Great Britain or the ferry nearby gets you there in a couple of minutes. Very close to the Aquarium and many restaurants. Clean, modern, good service and the hotel's café is better than many that I have used at other Ibis hotels. Very good value at a budget price.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is 2 years or so since we last stayed at this hotel. The room and bathroom were clean although they neglected to leave a bath mat for the second day. The bed was very comfortable. Even though we were on the 3rd floor it was quite noisy late at night and early morning! Soon after arrival I called reception for a couple of extra pillows. I had to collect them in spite of a poster in the hall called 'service' showing a staff member carrying seve... Read more

This hotel is in a great location. Short walk to many bars and definitely the place to stay for the harbour festival. The room I booked was largely overpriced due to booking same day, however for a chain hotel I was impressed with the communal/lounge areas and facilities. I would book again here, but in advance so that it is worth the cost!

My husband and I had a wonderful two night break here, the location couldn't have been better for attractions and excellent eating places, the hotel was comfortable and clean and the car park easy to find and very close by. Hopefully we'll be back in the near future.

A good location for pubs & restaurants on the waterfront also the aquarium (although not impressed with the aquarium). Highly, highly recommend the Indian restaurant a stones throw from the hotel. Car parking is right next to the hotel.

A group of us stayed in Bristol last weekend and could not fault the hotel. The breakfast was the best bit for me (the bacon was ansum). The staff always smiled and the hotel was spotless. I like the idea that if you put the do not disturb sign on the door they leave a bag with towels in on your door handle. The hotels a stones throw from Pryzm nightclub which was brilliant and other bars and restaurants are not far either. The only think I would moan at was the fact you have to pay £2 A BAG!! ... Stayed overnight for a business induction. Hotel looks nice and modern in good shape. Very clean. Staff friendly. Room good size with corner bathroom and a good view . Best part though how centrally located it is in city centre.

Lovely hotel, clean, delightful staff and a pleasant ambience. However, there are a lot of bars and clubs nearby and the weekend we stayed the noise at night was TORTURE. Screeching hen parties an people beeping horns until 3am. Might be ok in the week in winter but I would not stay here again in the summer at a weekend. Also, the only near place to park is the Millenium Car Park which the hotel will subsidise for you but it still adds £12.50 to your bill for each 24 hours you stay.

Hotel had great facilities and nice rooms. The only criticism is the step going into the bathroom. It's only a short walk to the riverside bars and restaurants. A great hotel for groups wanting a night out in Bristol. Not sure how far it is from the city centre. Would stay again.

My friend and myself chose this Ibis hotel because we had previously stayed at the one in Temple Meads Quay in November and wanted to be closer to the city center. The location of this Ibis was much more convenient for going shopping and the night life. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who upgraded our room, so our bathroom was a wet room. The room was spacious and very clean. We ordered food at the bar one evening after a night out and it was cooked quickly and we were... Read more

Ibis are budget, no-frills hotels ideal for an overnight stop and this was well up to scratch. (I would find the room too small for more than a couple of niights max). A good location in the buzzing dock area of the city with plenty of nearby food/drink choices. There is underground parking nearby with a discount for hotel guests GBP 12.50//24hrs. The staff were welcoming, cheery and efficient- a non-functioning kettle was replaced within 10 minutes of being notified. The SS Great Britain is a s... Read more

Great location for local central Bristol, boat trips, walks and exploring. Do not stay here is you want quiet, as too many outdoor cafes/bars and noisy locals nearby to Millennium Square. Rooms smart, bed OK but form (slides around, and makes noise - if you know what I mean), great bathroom, shower only (NO soap). No guide to TV use or what is available. Restaurant Great: Breakfast Brilliant (make a sandwich for your lunch), evening selection: Tomato Soup BEST in world. One niggle, no easy Engli... Read more

Did exactly what it said on the tin. A modern ibis hotel in the centre or Bristol. The room was clean & modern. It was a fairly quiet hotel considering the location. Only marked down due to issues with the key card being wiped by being too close to my phone-they didn't warn me of this making me late for a meeting the next day. So tiny issue really that could have been avoided. Staff were very helpful in trying to fix the issue.

Friendly staff and very welcoming lobby/bar/reception area. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but not spacious. The only downside was the lack of free parking, the hotel was able to validate my parking ticket, which reduced the price from £16 to £12.50 for an overnight stay.

This hotel is well situated for visitors to Bristol with a handy underground car park right next door. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is good and the rooms comfortable, but there are no luxuries. If you need an extra pillow, you have to get your own from reception; we stayed 2 nights and the room didn't get serviced, the bins weren't even emptied; and for this basic approach, you'd probably expect a basic price, but not so, for this visit at least. The hotel was ideal with a fairly large bar with eating outside and a good breakfast. I had two good nights here, but on my last night was rudely awaken at around midnight by the fire alarm! A couple of us ventured down the stairwell from the 4th floor to reception to be informed the chef has set the alarm off in the kitchen. There was no procedure for this situation and alot of people wandering around in their underwear not knowing! Luckily it was a false alarm this time but maybe there should ... Read more

Parking right outside, although it is £16 per 24hour stay. Great location, and bar was open later than all the other bars, thankfully! Right by everything you need and a 10 min walk to Cabot. Good pricing usually too, good tv, bed and hot shower, good stay thanks.

The Ibis was pleasant to stay in. The location is really convenient in Bristol for being close to the harbourside and centre of town. Very close to some good restaurants and spots to grab a drink. The bed wasn't the comfiest, and the room is nothing special at all. Very basic, but for one night was good enough. The staff were very helpful at the desk and if you are a guest parking at Millenium Square car park they do validate your parking (from £16 per 24 hrs to £12). Great bar inside the lo... Read more

Stayed at this hotel over two nights and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't cheap at all for the two nights but it was over a weekend. The linen was fresh and clean, the actual sheet to lie on wasn't stretched over the mattress, only tucked under the overlay but I assume they do this for ease of cleaning. Once the door was shut noise didn't travel through from the corridor which was nice!! Slept well, very good shower pressure for the morning. A tidy little hotel in a great location. If you... If you like to stay at a not too posh hotel, although clean and comfortable, you should choose Ibis. At Ibis you always feel welcome and you can just be yourself. Ibis Bristol Centre is no exeption to that. Friendly and helpful staff will give you a heartly welcome and do their best to meet your needs. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in walking distance to everything. Situated on the harbourside there are many restaurants and bars close by. A short stroll leads to the city centr... Stayed at the Ibis Bristol Centre hotel with partner and friends for Bristol Pride. Turned out to be a fantastic location, right next door to the event. Hotel was very clean and tidy. We didn't have breakfast but noted that it was on offer. I will stay here again. Only feedback I would give the hotel would be to give the poor staff behind the reception a seat. They have to stand there bent over working on the computers.

On arrival the hotel seemed fine, however when we decided to go to bed there were problems. One pillow had blood & lipstick stains & the room was so over-heated that we had to run the air conditioning all night, which meant that although cooler, we could now only hear the noise of the air conditioning. We decided to pay for breakfast the next morning but the food was very poor for the price we paid. At one point my boyfriend had to spit out his food as a mushroom had been cooked complete with a ... I came here and stayed for a hen do, it was the harbour side festival so everywhere was very busy and they were well organised despite this! However the price per night was very steep £130 a night not including breakfast! The single beds were very small and my friend nearly fell out of bed and about 3 times we had to go back as a cards didn't work one straight away after changing it! However the shower was amazing!!!!!

Cannot complain about the location as it is ideal for exploring and very close to a lively area for bars and restaurants. The rooms are an adequate size and clean but the price is London west-end without being anything special.
