Just what you expect from an ibis. The room was clean and comfortable, the bar/restaurant area is nice and a bit newer than other ibis hotels. Breakfast included was a buffet style. Great for a short/ cheap stay.

I've stayed at the Ibis a few times and its in the perfect location if one wants to head out for an evening in Bristol. Parking is each in the underground or multi story if yiu are prepared for the cost - about £15 for a night.

On arrival I was allocated room number 418, at this time I just dropped my bag in the room and left to attend a meeting. Small pod like rooms - Reception very helpful - Rooms clean and efficient although if you are looking for quaint and character look elsewhere - They take dogs which is why I stayed there - View from room was an office block - Good location on Bristol waterfront - For one night it was perfect.

Although the "pod" bathrooms are small and the bedrooms aren't carpeted, the former is very well designed and the latter feels cleaner. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Hippodrome and has plenty of bars and restaurants even closer in the waterside area. It wasn't noisy though. The available parking was in the adjacent Millenium Square car park where there are two 7kw charging bays, free to use with Charge your Car cards. Worth the £11.00 discounted fee.
