We booked online, really based on location. It's just off the m32 and still a reasonable drive distance into Bristol. The price was good value for a family room, which was nicely set up with a settee bed and double bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean with nice deep bath and toiletries. As soon as we arrived the children loved it. It is spacious and modern and clean. There is even a little bridge inside with fish swimming underneath. And a nice garden with play area. Drinks and fruit are ava... Read more

Very comfortable, great staff and good breakfast. The only disappointment was the Wifi was too slow to stream. As this was a business trip I was not going to pay for the higher speed service (which was very expensive)

This is our second visit here within the last 9 months. Very nice hotel, very clean and the staff members are friendly and helpful. They had a wide range of food for breakfast and although the bacon and sausages were a little bland I couldn't fault any thing else. We will definitely stay here again when we are next visiting our daughter.

We came back and would come back again. It's a clean and well-maintained hotel, close to where we have family in Bristol. Our kids stayed w grandparents but we booked thinking they may stay w us as pool and playground are both solid for kids.

When we arrived early to check in, we were asked if we would like to join the points club which then enabled a free upgrade to an executive suite, 2 free bottles of water and free usage of the hotel gym! We also were given a later check out time for the following day which we didn't need but was a fab extra bonus. Room was lovely and clean, had a great nights sleep after a busy day around Bristol and the staff that checked us in and out were wonderful. Couldn't fault our stay at all.

Room was good, staff were very polite and helpful. The best part is that kids eat free with adults. The lounge bar was very big and enjoyed the champions league football. Many options for breakfast too. Only thing missing was baby pool.

This hotel was a nightmare to find if you are not coming straight off the motorway. We were travelling from Bath direction and the sat nav directed us to a spot miles away from the hotel which is sited on a very long road (and no number given in the address and no proper directions). We finally stopped at the Premier Inn (which was easy to spot) and used their wifi and kind staff to direct us to where we wanted to go. We ended up wishing we had checked in there The room was average but the bed ... Read more

Ideal location to access transport routes to the rest of the UK. Rooms, sporting and dining facilities provide good value for money. If you want to dine out there is a small Retail Park within walking distance, or a short train journey/drive will take you into the city itself.

Wow! This was not my father's Holiday Inn. Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, welcoming function space, delicious breakfast included (seriously, one of the best ever.) Almost everything about this hotel was first rate. The only exception (as it seems to be in EVERY hotel) is the wifi. International visitors rely heavily upon dependable internet access. Executive level rooms are meant to come with a premium wifi, and no one ever seems to want to grant tr... Read more

Not a particularly pleasant stay for business purposes. Threadbare carpets on the stairs. Room was basic and hot and the air conditioning didn't appear to make much difference. With the window open it was very noisy, but too warm to sleep with it closed. I went to the gym for the two nights I was there, its very very small, with machines cramped against each other. Again very hot and smelt particularly unpleasant. Breakfast staff were polite, but I queued both mornings to be seated.

I stayed for one night on a business trip , the staff are welcoming and attentive , ideal location for visiting Bristol in a nice part of town away from the city noise. Unfortunately the breakfast service and its quality was not up to much.

Went here with 2 large bookings 12 rooms total, staff very helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean and the food was decent. Enough here to keep everyone entertained, some watched sports in the bar and others used swimming pool and sauna. Would use again.

Our twin room was a good standard. We booked the stopover rate for 1 night as we were attending an event locally. This was good value for money as breakfast was included. We used the sauna & pool which although small were not too busy in the evening. We also ate at Sampans and found the food excellent but beware of over-ordering the portions are very generous, go easy on the starters if you want to make it to dessert - we didn't!

Excellent value for money, polite and friendly staff, convenient, clean and a tasty and varied breakfast, what more could you want! If I were to criticise I would say our evening meal was slightly too expensive and the service was initially rather slow. The meal was well presented and of good quality though.

Service was excellent, breakfast was brilliant only slightly disappointed with no bacon on the breakfast menu- have stayed there several times and never disappointed. Hoping to stay there again end of July. Car was parked directly outside hotel which is a bonus. Last year when it was my birthday the hotel even smuggled my son and his family into room in the hotel so that we had no idea they were there. They go that extra bit to make sure that your stay is comfortable and at a fair price

My visit to this hotel was for 2 days and due to a ridiculous M6 (caravan crash) it took me 7 hours to travel 140 miles Grrrrr all this was soon forgotten within 2 minutes of arriving this was due to an amazing welcome from the lovely Raluca on reception she was so efficient with a lovely rapport and she genuinely looked like she was enjoying her job!! Another mention gas to go to Rossana from the breakfast team who was simply amazing with a nothing is too much trouble attitude top marks to both... Read more

Booked this hotel to meet up with family. Its in an ideal location just off the M32, only a short drive into Bristol, but far enough away for the peaceful surroundings. We had evening meal and breakfast there, both occasions were very well organised, and we were greated and treated very politely and efficiently. The food was very nice and well presented. Rooms of good size and of a good standard. It has gym and swimming pool, which we did not use.

This is a great location just of the M5/M4/M32 easy access for travellers going further south or over to Bath. Huge car parks but only a few Blue Badge parking spaces although there is ramped access with automatic doors. Building and outside looks a bit tired but the staff certainly are not - we were welcomed into the hotel as soon as we stepped inside and our booking in order and our loyalty membership recognised. Lift to the 3 floors and rooms at ground level. We had a king sized bedroom well ... Read more

Stayed on a Tuesday night whilst at the nearby business park. Excellent service from reception staff and at restaurant. Very comfortable room with all the facilities expected. Free Wi-Fi. Enjoyed a good nights sleep, and had a choice of pillows soft or firm. Used the pool which is 15m in length. Clean changing rooms and towels are collected at the health club reception. Well appointed gym and sauna available. Had an excellent meal in the evening which was served very promptly. Disappointed b... Read more

As always, the room was very comfortable, helped by a free upgrade with my reward card. The front desk were as ever friendly and efficient, markedly better than a few other hotels in the area I have used in the last 12 months. The room was quiet, and the aircon did the trick. Ordered room service from the San Pans menu, which arrived quickly and was very good indeed. I will certainly continue to use this hotel as long as they continue to keep up the good work.

We are returned customers. It never brings us down. The hotel and the rooms are clean and beds are cosy. The staff are very helpful and always put on smiling faces. The hotel has a huge garden, a fishing pond, children playground, a healthy with indoor pool and amble parking spaces. It has two restaurants serving the western and the pan Asia cuisines and a bar. Had a great stay over here for one night. We were given an upgrade to an executive room which had everything we needed. The bed was one of the comfiest beds I have slept in. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. All the staff that we encountered were helpful and courteous. I have stayed in several Hotels in this chain, all with good experiences.

Stayed here on business during a busy week for the hotel. Room was a good standard, clean and roomy. Didn't use fitness facilities but definitely checked out the restaurant and bar areas. Having worked in busy hotels before I can understand just how difficult it is to look after each guest, but a few people in deserve a mention. Stayed here for one night, mid week on business. Paid £195 for an average room. They charge for wifi, unless you are a member (which I am), but because I hadn't got my card, there was a real performance, while they tried to verify & give me my precious free wifi!! The bar area had little atmosphere, the outdoor seating was scruffy, with dirty glasses & full ashtrays. I stay in hotels regularly & this overall experience was disappointing, with lack lustre service & low quality value.
