The reason for the comment about finding the hotel is that whilst it can be seen from Station Road, it is just off a busy roundabout and not obvious to a stranger which is the best way to approach it. However, having found it and got ones bearings it is a splendid location. Ideal for the business traveller.

Stayed here while on business. Although the hotel is located in a cultural desert (Filton) it was very convenient for my needs and next door to the Fox Den, a reasonable 'pub' restaurant. My room was immaculate, quiet and had everything I required. The bar area downstairs is sterile but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast unremarkable but included in the room rate. I would definitely stay here again.

Having paid £116.00 for an overnight stay including Breakfast, I expected to get an overnight stay with Breakfast. What I actually got was a stay in a very poorly lit hotel with a very small room, must admit the bed was comfortable, in the morning I was looking forward to my Breakfast. I was presented with a self service buffet breakfast with inedible powdered egg, beans that looked like they had been mushed up into a paste and uncooked sausages. when i asked if i could have some freshly made... Been here a few times for work. Receptionists are always welcome and greeted with a smile. Hotel room in clean and has a choice of hard or soft pillows. Hardly get any street noise so nice and quiet. Central location for Anbeywood and you can leave your car in carpark of you have stayed there overnight. Up to 6pm, very handy if you have a mtg. Breakfast is nice with lots of choice.

Very nice hotel however the bed was not comfortable the breakfast was very disappointing they used powdered eggs absolutely terrible the other choices for a hot breakfast were beans and sausages, no bacon was offered because of offending certain religious groups, who ever heard of a hot English breakfast without a little bacon after all we do live in England and not the Middle East

As expected the Holiday Inn was very clean and the staff were friendly. The room, on the second floor again clean and presentable. Had a great meal at the Fox Den, pub, next door. The breakfast was a mix of English and continental, all presented well. All in all a very good example of a Holiday Inn.

This is a good hotel and although the staff were really friendly, it took 20 minutes to check in. All reception staff were on training but there was no senior personnel there to help them. We and other guests had to wait quite a long time to be served in the bar. We had to report a problem with the air conditioning unit, just think the management have got a bit complacent.

Having arrived by rail, we chose this hotel for the proximity to Bristol Parkway rail station. To be honest, for the money, we weren't expecting very much, however the room turned out to be a welcome surprise. Very well ergonomically designed. It had everything we wanted and was comfortable, even for 2 rather tall gangly people to shunt around in. The bed linen was of good quality, the bed supportive and comfortable. LOCATION The hotel is located on a roundabout, opposite the MoD Abbey Wood site and the neighbouring Abbey Wood Retail Park. Due to the road layout, guests will need to pay particular attention to satnav or other direction to gain access to the site, as there is no direct access from the junction. FACILITIES Hotel has its own bar and free WiFi for guests. There is no gym and no kitchen, meaning guests will need eat elsewhere if they want a proper meal. Breakfast is a poor offering if you wa... For a Holiday Inn, this is amazing. Perfect location wise and the hotel / rooms are better than I could have ever expected. The price of the hotel is very good and the beds are some of the best I have ever slept upon! Could not rate this hotel higher. Will always return when in Bristol.

Another pleasant stay at this clean, well run Hotel. Still a shame that there is no Restaurant but there is ample choice elsewhere, and within walking distance. Free WiFi in all rooms, and free parking for guests, which is something that other Hotels in the area don't offer. Nice clean, comfortable rooms with everything you could need for a short stay. Thank you to the staff for another lovely stay.

We arrived to the hotel with two rooms booked, tried to book in and was told I had three rooms booked! Then was told that they hadn't taken enough when I paid online so had to pay another amount which wasn't expected and third room was cancelled! Once we managed to book in the hotel was lovely, rooms are fine with enough space although a little smaller than we imagined. Breakfast was lovely and check out was easy and OK.

I keep on going back. Its always clean, staff are always excellent. I know that I will get a good sleep. No restaurant - They get pizzas sent in, and if you get from another delivery company they will provide plates and cutlery. I normally prefer to go to the Fox Den pub on the same site or to the chain restaurants in the shopping park opposite.

I stayed one night in the Holiday Inn Express Bristol - North; it was OK. I arrived late and the night staff were perfunctory in their "welcome". I ordered pizza, and like the hotel, it was OK. My room was clean and tidy, and adequate for a night. The breakfast buffet was average, but there was plenty of choice given the 'Express' nature of the hotel. I would stay again if I had too, but I would choose another location if I could.

The hotel is well located, the parking is ok but when I arrived there were no spaces outside the hotel, I had to park near the pub opposite and I don't think the CCTV covered that far, but the car wasn't touched in the morning so all was good. What a great Holiday Inn Express. We travelled from Scotland to Bristol, on a day where the M6 and M5 were playing the car park game, and got a very nice welcome to the Hotel, by the counter staff. Charlie our dog was also made very welcome, and the limitations as to where he(the dog)could go etc., were all explained in a very courteous and professional way. One thing about Holiday Inn Express is the quality is consistent across all hotels. Clean, comfortable with good bathrooms. Perfect for business nights away. Internet was reasonable speed and breakfast was perfectly ok This particular one was on a good bus route into town so no need to drive and park Happy with the service and would stay again in the area The only thing i cannot understand is why Bristol is so expensive? £107 per night for HIE is very much top side of acceptable.
