Is very close to the airport and they offer a shuttle bus to and from the airport which only takes about 10 minutes if no traffic. Hotel was clean and quiet, minimal dinner options as no restaurant as such. Staff very friendly and welcoming, no noise from the airport so a good nights sleep was had

Got here late, small problem with check in that was resolved quickly by the staff. Room was very clean and functional with crisp clean sheets on the bed, exactly what you want. Usual breakfast and apart from preferring a runnier poached egg, was very nice. Staff very nice and although it was a very quick stay, the hotel was perfect for what I needed it to be.

After arriving at midnight with a young child, I thought the shuttlebus would be reliable. However, after 3 failed attempts I gave up and paid for a taxi. When we finally got to the hotel my 4 year old daughter was exhausted, but I was left waiting at reception whilst the man served at the bar. It's a Holiday Inn, what do you want to know? Like a Big Mac, you know exactly what you're going to get. It's serviceable, practical, and clean. Reasonable amount of spaces in their Carpark, so if you wanted to leave the car there and get their shuttle bus to the airport, then you have the option. The airport is only a 4 mins drive up the road.

Great location for early flights. You've just got to find it first. It's a good job we used the satnav! Lovely hotel. Nice room with everything you would expect. Comfy bed. We slept well. I was very disappointed on checking in that you have to pay £5 per night for parking never had that before at HI. Of the dozens of HI hotels that I stay at world wide this one of the poorest. The stopper in the washbasin did not work and to have to climb into an ancient bath to have a poor shower was not very pleasant. Needs upgrading.

Flight delayed, we were booked into Holiday Inn to await flight the next day, great I thought, impersonal hotel with fried everything on the menu. How wrong could I have been. Staff informative. Stayed at Bristol Airport Holiday Inn on 28th May in preparation for our early morning flight. On check in we were given our room key and told we had to pay £5.00 to park the car for the night. I stayed 1 night to go on a course. I asked for a walk in shower as I cannot climb in a bath to use the shower and had to have a room designed for a wheelchair user. No hangers above waist height and the wet room was awful. Short shower curtain, flooded room and a floor that was so slippy I was frightened of falling. We visited and the rooms were likely and clean. Very comfortable and not high levels of noise. Would recommend executive room. However restaurant service unbelievably slow, and it was not busy, lots of staff waiting around but not actually doing anything. We stayed here as a family prior to an early flight next morning. 1st the good: It's near the airport. They have free warm cookies at reception! Food in restaurant ok. The bad. Adequate hotel for its purpose - staying near an airport. Although it's actually not as close to the airport as you think. However on return from our holiday we received a threatening letter telling us we hadn't paid for parking at the hotel (NOT included even though you are staying at the hotel) despite paying for it on arrival!!!! Stayed here before flying from the airport. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus driver took us to the airport early morning on the day of our flight and picked us up upon our return. Nice and easy to fuss or hassle....very good service and will definitely be staying again whenever flying from Bristol.

Did a one night stop over here for work after days flying. As a "airport hotel" they charge for's not that near the airport. For what I got and paid would expect to be on Heathrow perimeter Road. The hotel is good to spend a night or 2 near the airport if needed. Rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised to find room slippers. Breakfast spread is quite average. The were even nice enough to upgrade me at check in. Bathroom is small but manageable.

We stayed here for the night following our daughters wedding at a nearby venue, when we arrived at the hotel our room was cold, but could not keep the heating on due to the noise the system made. Stayed here the night before our flight rooms average. The £10.00 per night parking charge for leaving the car whilst away is astronomical. Their website is very misleading as it gives the impression the charge is £5.00 per night but that is only if you are staying. Great hotel, only 5 minute drive to Bristol Airport. Plenty of car parking for your overnight stay( £5 charge payable at reception) We had a twin room on the ground floor and had booked room only. However the restaurant and bar area was great, including a nice size outdoor seating area. Good choice on the menu and fantastic standard of food. I have never been to stay anywhere so terrible. What is this extra £5.00 to park how do they think you got there. The food was awful cold lasagne put on the plate like an accident had happened. Warning / Complaint!! Parking Fine Extortion at Holiday Inn Bristol airport: On a recent trip to Bristol Airport I stopped for a 30 minute coffee and snack at the airport hotel as an opportunity to visit a family member before flying back to Geneva. 3 weeks later I received 100 pound fine for parking!! Cannot say a lot about the hotel in is your normal holiday inn, convenient for Bristol airport but that's about it. Rooms are comfortable and I got a good nights sleep, but the restaurant needs work with the quality of the food the breakfast was disappointing.

Let's face it you know what you are going to get and we got it. Bog standard 3 Star hotel. The only way to really differentiate one HI from another is staff and our experience this night was very good. We arrived late ( midnight) and got a warm, friendly and efficient welcome and checkin. Cold beer at the bar before bed was spot on. Great location for Bristol Airport.

We flew from here to Corfu and the airport is good itself clean nice cafés and toilets but easyjet let it down big time. We got to the airport 3 hours before our flight surposed to be able to bag drop after checking in on line but no queued for hours no one on desks until last minute then just took ages and no apologie or a smile. I would never fly with them again but I would fly from Bristol with another airline

On arrival I felt very welcome, but wasn't informed that all airport transfers need to be booked. Luckily the mini bus driver stepped in to give me this vital information we may have missed or 7 am flight as 5 am mini bus fully booked. Stayed here following a late arrival home from holiday. Check in at 12.30am was very good indeed, Debbie the night manager was friendly and welcoming despite the late hour. Very very over priced for what it is and we got it cheap! Would've been gutted if I'd paid full price!!!!!! When I booked I choose option for double bed but my wife and I got singles which was comfortable so no complaints there but room was looking very dated and Premier Inns and Travel lodge better value and better interiors to rooms in my opinion.

This is totally a move-'em-in, move-'em-out place geared to folks who just need a hotel for a few hours before catching their flights. The hard bed surprised me the most. But you know what? We got a pretty good dinner when we checked in and the thing I loved, loved the most was that while we were waiting for the 4:00 AM shuttle to the airport, there was HOT, FRESH coffee already set up. Close to the airport with little competition so you are a little stuck for choice. Basic rooms which though small are OK for one night or in our case just over 6 hours... parking is now extra which is not made clear when you book so thats another £5. We had a family room (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) which was spacious and very clean with very comfortable beds. We were guests for one night at the Holiday Inn Bristol Airport in May of this year. When checking in, the receptionist had to register our license plate number. Two months later we received a parking charge over 100£, apparently because the "Parking Eye" system (surveillance system that they use to make sure nobody parks their car on their parking spaces, that is not a guest of the hotel). Lovely, quiet stay here again. The lady on reception (Debbie I think) very friendly and helpful. The only reason I haven't given an excellent on this visit is because the extra bed we had requested was not in the room and we had to wait for it to be put up..which is a little annoying at midnight. Flying back on bank holiday Monday decided us to stay and rest here. It took friends also back on that evening 6.5 hours to get through the M5 crashes to Plymouth. Unusually we decided to stay for a few nights because of good road connections and found the hotel very quiet and peaceful despite been near the airport.Room was very comfortable and clean and staff always friendly and helpful. Terrace was a lovely suntrap for relaxing.

We stayed here one night as we had an early flight the next day. The hotel is about ten minutes from the airport. The room was okay, bed quite comfortable and the bathroom clean. There is a restaurant on site and we had our evening meal there. The food was good. The staff were friendly and we received the alarm call on time.

Having used H I on a fairly regular basis found this one to be as expected with nice rooms, a good selection of complimentary refreshments and toiletries. We stayed at the hotel as we had a flight the next day from Bristol Airport. Overall experience was fair. First the good - The restaurant food was good, the staff were friendly and the transport was fine to the airport. I think the hotel was quite full due to a party of Japaneses tourists staying therefore rooms were quite expensive but used Holiday Inn points. Staff were very helpful. Did not eat in restaurant but ordered room service pizza which was very good. Note there is an extra charge of £5 for parking which I was aware of beforehand.

Very close to the airport which is great for travellers but expect noise throughout the night as you won't be the only ones coming and going and it does house the crew for flights. The bar/restaurant food is ok but expensive and there is nothing else nearby so I would suggest eating before you arrive.

Missed our flight so booked into the Holiday Inn overnight. Check In was easy, room nice and clean, It's a decent hotel, food is good. Be careful of the parking ! Keep your receipt as both my daughter and I have both been sent parking fines for their car park even though we paid at reception. Staff where brilliant, friendly and helpful good location for early flight from airport, downside dated, carpets stained, bed had dust all around lower lip, worse Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in upside staff.

I needed somewhere to leave the car (my outward flight from Bristol was early afternoon, thus allowing me plenty of time to drive up from Cornwall) and then spend the rest of the night after a late flight back (ETA 1135 - actual time nearer midnight) 10 days later before collecting the car and driving home. I have been meaning to write this review for a while, as I have stayed at this hotel now several times and each time, I have been very impressed by the hotel and the staff here. Well first time here but needed to collect friends from the airport. The room was great and very clean with everything you need. Bathroom very small but clean. Air Conditioning did not work ( error code L9 ) ???? The worst part is the Breakfast !!!!!!!!!! Cold and rubber scrambled eggs, sausage from ??? How many days lol !! We needed to stay somewhere as we were attending a wedding in the area. The hotel was a typical Holiday Inn as would be expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was good, but the room was rather tired and in need of renovation (particularly the carpet). I found the bed comfortable, but my wife complained that each time I turned over she was bounced up and down!

A great location for an overnight stop close to Bristol Airport. Its exactly what you would expect from Holiday Inn. The staff are always friendly, attentive and professional. I had a snack at the bar and it arrived in good time and was OK. Rooms are well decorated and equipped. One side of the hotel is beside the busy road but its not an issue at night. Free parking and Wi Fi that worked well and a shuttle bus to the airport that takes about 10mins. Its not free but cheaper than a taxi.

Stopped here on business my room was lovely and clean comfortable bed and fantastic powerful shower. What let the hotel down was the breakfast food seemed like it's had been out hours just kept warm on hot plates lacking freshness, scrambled eggs was rubber but staff was pleasant and helpful.

As a result of missing our flight home to Scotland. Myself my partner and daughter booked into the Holiday in for the night as next flight home not till next day. We were greeted at Reception by a very welcoming and friendly Hotel Manager. Made us feel great after not such a great day. Room was spotless and beds very comfy. We had a really great dinner and some drinks at night. Couldn't have been treated any better. First class.

Overnight stay before an early morning flight, no problems. Paid the overnight parking charge at check-in. On returning from holiday, a letter was waiting for me from Parking Eye, stating that we had illegally parked at the hotel and demanding £100. Spacious rooms with good beds and ambience. This is very far off from Bristol city centre and close to Airport. Since many offices located in city centre of Bristol , travel would be challenging in the peak hours and one would miss the schedules easily. Extremely poor customer service all round & not what I have grown to expect from Holiday inn especially as a valued business member. Comical errors when checking in with regards to not having parking when the room & booking clearly did. We had a limited stay with an early start. Everything was fine - the room the beds, the restaurant food and the organisation to get us going in the morning. If I had a criticism it would be that the cost was a bit too high.

Hotel situated near Bristol airport. We had an early morning flight so the location was great for us. The airport is about 5 mins away and there is also a shuttle bus. The hotel is ideally located for the airport, however it trades on this and not its service level. On checking in, despite being a guest and with no other option for parking you are charged on top of the room for parking. This is purely stealth revenue. Why not include parking for the night of stay ? If you want to charge £5 more for the room why not simply be honest and be upfront in your headline price? We used the Holiday Inn at Bristol Airport to park the car for a few days while we flew out to Porto. We didn't like the idea of the off-site parking schemes at Bristol Airport so parking our car safely at the Holiday Inn seemed like a good idea. Arrived day early before our flight from Bristol airport, no problem with booking accommodation which is very convenient, they are extremely busy (due to this it can be noisy) so one should book in advance, It pays to look for any special promotions which vary from time to time.

Easy to book and check in. Our room was cold so we requested extra blankets and they arrived within minutes! Extremely fast service. The steaks we had in the restaurant were excellent and cooked perfectly. However the bed in our room seemed quite old and not that comfortable, which is why I have given an average rating. I did not sleep too well and we had an early morning flight, so would probably drive from home in the future.

Room was clean and comfortable enough, Wi-Fi was offered but not worth using, couldn't stay connected for more than a minute or two when you could connect which was rarely. Stayed for two days but was unable to access the room when I returned on the second day around lunchtime and was told by the cleaning staff that I was early. Not sure why there was a time limit on use when it was already booked and paid for.

You can't argue with the service you receive, reception always had friendly staff on, restaurant staff were polite. The hotel itself could probably do with a little TLC but room's were in good condition. It's about 3 miles from the airport so not as close as some airport hotels but close enough.

Picked this hotel because we were travelling on a late incoming flight to Bristol Airport and wanted a convient stop-over for two nights. Its an Express Inn and the service was just that - Speedy book in/check out. Shuttle service was prompt both ways, no delays, courteous drivers - 5min journey £4 each. My wife and I recently stayed in the Holiday Inn prior to an early morning flight from the airport. Only 4 miles away from the airport the hotel is well positioned and easy to find and has parking on site. Whilst we did not use the facilities the hotel had a bar and restaurant. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Nothing special for a longer stay but definitely good for the airport.

Nothing to get excited about, its an airport hotel, clean comfortable, with a bar & restaurant. Bar snacks available till late. We ate in the restaurant the food was good for this type of hotel. We had a good nights sleep. Didn't have breakfast as early flight. The staff in the bar restaurant need more training, only one girl that knew what she was doing. But we managed to get everything we needed, if a bit hap hazard.

Holiday inn, they do mostly look the same. This one is okay for a quick overnight stay. The restaurant is average and like all the others could do with having a menu update but its clean and comfortable.

I've driven past lots of times over the years and thought what an ideal place it would be to stay for the airport, but never managed to get in.
