Room was nice, staff friendly and plenty of services near by. For the price was on par with any of the other big names charging slightly more. Limited meals and breakfast tho bit we knew this prior to arrival so shouldn't come as a surprise to others.

We visited the Days Inn for a 3 day stay in March. The room was much nicer than expected with good tea and coffee facilities. Snacks could be bought from reception as could certain breakfast items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even providing access codes for the service roads so we could get to a wedding venue without having to go the 25.minute long way round. Will definately use the chain again.

Even though this hotel is situated in a truck stop area it is quiet and great for a stop over . The rooms are clean and have the small necessities required . Breakfast is offered but not too far are many coffee and food options but it is all fast food options. I had a nice view and the stay was pleasant .

First time here. Had a good room with even a view on the birds cage outside. Dead quiet. Fast enough WiFi. Foodwise you have to eat at the fast food outlets at the service station or move off site. I was wuite satisfied and would come bacj if I have to be in the area.

Very tired. Reception staff good. Our room was not cleaned for 2days. Had to complain and managed to get part refund. Truck park opposite so can be noisy. Good hotel as far as getting to surrounding areas. Would we stay there again? NO.

Well we only paid £46 for a late stopover on route to Cornwall from Yorkshire. The room was a bit grim, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows flat as a pancake. Very little sleep had by the whole family but it served a purpose. The bathroom was tired and well past its best. Very much in need of a refurbishment.

I had got my printed conformation letters for both bookings.I booked for a wheelchair friendly room an did not get it. I was told by reception that the room was already occupied.(room number 1)which we had used on precious visits. We use the room for one night stays on severa... Read more

I booked this hotel due to it's location on the M5 - ideal as an overnight stop between meetings in the Bristol area. As a budget priced motorway service area hotel my expectations weren't high. It's an ex-Travelodge property but the advantage with Days Inn is that you get biscuits on the tea tray, a bath mat and tissues. The hotel has definitely seen better days and is showing it's age: battered paintwork, creaky bed, tatty fixtures etc. Sheets were clean though and the towels soft and thick. A... Read more

Stayed there for just one night with two of my friends to go out in Bristol for a Saturday night, the room we had was clean and the staff were all friendly, the only hotels left when we wanted to go were over priced for one night but this place was about £60-£70 for the night for all three of us so the money we saved on the hotel staying here we used on taxis to and from Bristol witch worked out brilliant!

I am fully aware that this is a hotel chain and did not expect more than basic accommodation when staying at a service station. The staff were very polite and the room was clean but it had a very strong damp smell. Considered going to reception to change but thought that as I was only there for one night decided to put up with it. Really regret this decision, had problems sleeping because of the smell but even more upsetting, my belongs now reek of this damp smell. Was staying for a business ... Read more

Room ok but felt a little shabby and although clean it didnt feel like it was . Payed for continental breakfast didn't look anything like the picture. No Croissants only bread very basic, fruit choices limited. . had to ask for plates, cups, spoons, bowls, knives, milk, The young man on reception spent his time bring 2 or 3 items at a time as he needed to keep washing the crockery and cutlery.

Have stayed here several times. Good value for money, rooms more than adequate for overnight stays. Position good, easy access to motorway. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast basic but good value Proper shower cubicles would be better than baths, over bath shower not brilliant, but adequate. Rooms clean, bed comfortable.

He refused me and said that they don't offer public toilets and I had to walk round to the service station. I said I was checking in, but he still refused. I said I was desperate and he still refused. I just about made it! The room was 80 and should have been around 40/50 quid. We were awoken by people walking around a... Read more

The hotel is convenient off the M5. And our room was surprisingly quiet. We had booked a room with "2 double beds" on expedia - the first room we were given had only one double bed. When we shower our reservation details we were informed they had no rooms with two double beds. Another staff member found one with a double bed and the oddest, most uncomfortable fold out "double bed" ever invented - it was awful. I was booked this place by my company as I was on business near Bristol docks and it was close for where I needed to be. Yes it is on a service station but I expected it to be a little bit nicer inside. the room looked basic and a bit tired. no restaurant as you are at a service station so they expect you to get food from there but it is all fast food and not what I call a decent cooked meal. you do get free parking as long as you park in the hotel area and give them your license plate number. ... This 'motel' is very adequate for a night or two, there are no real facilities as such due to it being on a service station so just the usual bog standard & pricey food & beverage outlets you find on a motorway! Portishead is only 5-10 mins away & plenty of options there for food & drink & to get away from the 4 walls. Bed was large & comfortable but basic, no aircon, but what do you expect for the price. We arived late at night, which was no problem, but they had only a smoking room. But we could change the room for the two further nights, which really better! Friendly staff. We don't use the breakfast for 5,50 GBP of the Hotel. We went to the nearby motorway service area (waitrose, starbucks, burger king, etc.) to buy our breakfast and eat it in front of the hotel (small garden with seatings). The rooms are large, bed is a bit too soft. Though it is nearby the motorway it is relatively quiet.

We stopped overnight on the way to our holiday in Devon. We booked a family room on the internet a few days before. Upside - It was cheap, clean and convenient. Breakfast was good and is next to a motorway service station with a lot of choice to eat. Downside - The room was unbelievably hot especially with four of us sharing and the fourth bed was just big enough for our 10 year old.

We've stayed there one night, the checking was fast, room was clean, the age of the hotel is moderate; the bathroom (shower head) was kind of old, difficult to get the hot water.. There were compliments, tea & coffee and a kettle in the room. The hotel was quite, had a comfortable bed. There were extra pillows, I used 2 as they were too thin. You can choose this hotel if you want to stay clean and safe in a corporate hotel at an affordable price.
