Wonderful stay here. Brilliant caring service. Felt so welcome and at home. Good Value. Lovely cosy room with sea view. Beautiful entrance and dining room. Reception and breakfast and evening room service was the best !!

This is a well-run hotel in a great location by the seafront with highly attentive staff. We found Antonio particularly helpful. The rooms are well kept and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent - good quality food with plenty of choice - and by paying for it the night before you receive a discount. The pool is a good size with enough room for swimming and playing. There are, however, some improvements that could be made. What is particularly lacking for guests who are... Read more

I booked two nights at £84 per night . I was upgraded on arrival to king size room . The hotel was very quite with few guests . This made everything very user friendly such as the bar and breakfast restaurant . I would go back again and was even happy to pay £20 a night in the underground car park which is cheap by brighton standards .

We booked two non view rooms as we have stayed here before and we were disappointed that yet another sea view hotel can't put in proper windows!! I live on a main road & have triple glazing to negate the traffic noise (common sense) . Our rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. As we slept well and were comfy we really enjoyed our Twixmas break. The lunch we had at the hotel was lovely and breakfast was very good, with no small thanks to the incredible Maureen (?). The pool area and staff were exc... Read more

Fabulous room overlooking Brighton seafront at a good price too (with a free upgrade thrown in). Parking on site (a bit tight but convenient). Have always loved the Brighton Metropole as it just radiates class. HUGE room, with every amenity you could think of. Big bathroom and a massive bed. Go for it!

Had a fabulous stay. Although I normally prefer a sea view when staying in Brighton I booked a normal room. My room was extremely large and airy with large double bed. Good pillows and clean bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and had everything I could have wanted. I didn't use all the facilities but had a nose around the large hotel. All staff were polite and courteous. Definitely would stay again

tatty room, badly fitting windows, chairs that are so worn the fake leather is peeling off in bedrooms. Buffet breakfast not worthy of a mention unless you like cold food. Overall feeling the place was dirty and one of the function rooms the ceiling was so dirty in places it looked more like a health hazard, black dirty air vents. Really seems to need a deep clean.

My stay was perfect, would defiantly go again. Didn't have much interaction with staff at all so I can't really give them a high rating but they weren't bad. Rooms were perfect, tidy and clean and perfect sized, it was all just to how we wanted it

Needed a break. Chose a two day break in Brighton. 10 min taxi from station. Shopping 5 min walk. Beach across road. Did not need local transport as all local attractions close by. Room was a twin guest room both beds were comfortable. Breakfast food could not be faulted. However first morning someone forgot to turn the heating on. Remedied for the following morning.

The reception and conference areas are very grand and seemed well decorated. The location is fantastic, and ice you get there early enough there is on site (chargeable) parking. Lovely restaurant area for breakfast (can't comment on food as only had cup of tea). The hotel is a grand old lady with impressive reception area and downstairs rooms however the bedrooms appear to need some TLC in decor and beds (I was on second floor) - the room itself was nice and spacious but needs refreshing in dec...
