Me and my husband stayed one night here as we were attending a wedding taking place here.We asked for,and were granted an early check in so we wouldn't have to travel in our wedding clothes. This was a bonus.

As the title says, this hotel has the potential to be great but it's not. Really dated interior that's poorly maintained. The carpets are stained and patched up in places, the lounge chairs have seen better days and the restaurant is just about functional. The toilet seat in my room wouldn't stay up on its own and, when asking for an iron and board, it took 25mins to arrive (why wasn't there one in the room already ?). Incredibly disappointed in IHG as I'm a Platinum Elite member and this ho... Read more

On May 14th I got married at The Pastures. The whole experience was fantastic, the staff made everyone feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. I must add that Carol, who looked after us during our wedding, went above and beyond the call of duty. She was so so so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel not only for a visit, but as a wedding venue.

I had this hotel location in my head as 'Bradford' but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a very quiet area, south east of the town but close enough to be an easy trip. There is a good car park and a few eating places within 5 minutes drive. Check in and check out were excellent - very professional and helpful. I had a decent room on the second floor with plenty of space to work in although the internet speed was very slow. There was a very good gym on the first floor that was open ... Read more

I checked in last night at 6:20pm I was asked if I was an IHG member I said yes but I had forgotten my card. The lady stated not a problem shed find me by my surname, thinking this was strange as my surname is so common i asked if she wanted a postcode etc she said no, she didn't even ask me if I wanted points or a drink - surprise, surprise - there have not been any points added. I then went to my room where I was greeted with a corridor strewn with rubbish (not room service plates but bins, pa... Read more

The Hotel is situated between Bradford and Leeds. Don´t come without a car! As usual in "GREAT" Britain. The personal is friendly and they try hard, but there possibilities are cut down by the owners and Investors. The Hotel definitely needs a refurbishment. The whole interior is old and used. The windows needs to be changed and the rooms completed refurbished. As I said the stuff is trying hard, but you can´t cover minimum 20 Years of usage! The check In was very quick, everything was prepar... Read more

A bit out of the way - a bit tired - a bit average Stayed for one night whilst at the cricket. It's definitely seen better days however the staff worked hard to make up for the properties short-comings. Think I would rather pay a bit extra for somewhere newer and better located.

Excellent and friendly service from reception, to catering to bar staff. Our stay was easy and pleasant and value for money. The rooms are a good size and there are complimentary toiletries on request. We were even allowed to take dogs at an extra charge.

First put off as we walked in to reception was a black cat sitting on the sofa. Check in was quick. Large hotel with large family room but room smelt stale. Bathroom had a huge spider in top corner and light grille looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. Used tissue still lay in the grille. Beds quite comfortable. Breakfast was good. We ordered omlettes which were good and Adam made sure we had everything including regular top ups of tea. Hotel set in lovely countryside surrounding.

More of a feel of a Best Western than a Holiday Inn, but that's no bad thing. It's got more character and a bit quirky (cat in reception) than your boggo standard Holiday Inn. Staff were very welcoming and friendly - even offering a free drink on arrival on my second night. I had a problem with the last Holiday Inn I stayed at, so this time I made sure I booked a room that definitely had a double/king bed. Mine was an Executive Double room. Fairly near reception (Room 5) though I heard no no... Read more

This has got to be the worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life! The room was a flea pit to say the least. Where shall I start........ stained bedding, holes in the bedding, dirty cups and sauces, stains on the bed runner, up the walls. The sofa was so sunken it looked like an elephant had sat in the middle of it, again - coffee stains or god knows what all over it. The bathroom - long black hairs in the bath, on the bathroom floor...probably from the previous occupant, the light fitt... Read more

We have stayed before and would probably stay again. However we couldn't recommend this hotel for more than perhaps one night. Situated in a very pleasant village between Leeds and Bradford the location and views are superb. The staff are extremely personable and efficient. The breakfast is decent and fresh albeit served in a rather characterless dining room which is also presumably the function room for weddings etc. Unfortunately the company who own this hotel as part of the Holiday Inn chain ... We were attending a wedding and there were two others on at the same time.i'm not sure they could cope. Positives first. The food presented was of a good quality and the lady who seemed to be 'in charge' of our function was very pleasant and worked hard. But there were negatives. Some staff were ill prepared - one didn't know where the toilets were! The inner door to the gents toilet had no handle so that door had to be propped open with a rubbish bin!!. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is the usual IHG standard, very pleasant staff, clean and tidy accommodation. Things to be wary off - no air conditioning in room (and I stayed on one of the warmest nights of the year so far) the opening windows are very small and are restricted to a small opening, As per usual with IHG, there is a lift to each floor, but some floor levels are raised, so although you arrive at your floor, your room may be 5 or 6 steps to a different level. So be aware if yo... Read more

This hotel is as bad as all the reviews on TA say it is. We thought as it was a Holiday Inn it would need to be of a certain standard but not the case. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and is in a nice village with a good pub which does nice food. Once inside the hotel it's pretty bad. It needs a complete refurb which you can overlook but the biggest issue is the lack of air con, the rooms are so hot you can't sleep or barely stand to be in it and the windows are bolted to only open a fra... Stayed there for 1 night only: dated hotel 8 miles from Leeds. No A/C in the rooms, the windows would hardly open, not a breath of fresh air in the hot summer day. Breakfast: understaffed and disorganized. Went to the restaurant 8,30 to find most of the tables were not cleaned from previous visitors. After we were eventually seated, we had to wait about 10 min to get clean plates. Food selection: basic but OK. They started putting more after 9!?

Traveled to Bradford for a friends wedding, this hotel is very close to the city, only 10 minutes drive and had plenty of free parking. Booked a family room and we were given an Executive room which was great as lots of space for the kids and we even had two TV's so they could watch their own channels. Friendly staff throughout, Daniel was very helpful and ensured my infant was catered for during breakfast times. Rooms are a bit tired looking, however very much in character to the style of the... We stayed here for four nights as a family of four and highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are really spacious - we had an executive room which was more like a suite! The breakfast is buffet style but was delicious with a good selection of traditional cooked and continental breakfast items which were replenished regularly. A great location for touring Yorkshire.

We stayed for one night as it was a friend's wedding. It is a really sad hotel that needs a complete refurbishment. The room was dark, the quality of furniture is poor and the bathroom is dated. The restaurant and the lobby is very average. The bar staff reminded me of teenagers on work experience. It was so bad we got up at 7 and drive straight home to have a shower. I would never go back.

As my header states, its very old fashioned, my room was very very dusty, dirt on the bathroom floor....the bed however was very comfy and the pillows too. that's it though that's the best thing I could mention. The staff were like useless, no get up and go, no idea how to serve from beer to bacon! Breakfast was clap cold. I certainly wont be going back & would never recommend it.

The hotel is so dated. Receptionist more interested in chatting than working. One has to ask who inspects these hotels from ihg cause this is NOT the standard. Dark damp smelling room, no resurgent open, had to chase staff to order a drink, then had to eat in a bar area with sticky tables. The irony is they have the cheek to charge the same prices as other holiday inns for the food. The general area carpets are thread bear.. We stayed one night following a wedding and found the room and breakfast to be of average standard. After requesting a double bed, we found we had two single beds pushed together which was a nightmare as we kept having to push them back together. Breakfast was of poor quality and the coffee was very instant. The juice was amazing however! The bride and groom said their room wasn't overly impressive either, especially considering the price!

Once you find this hotel - which survives in a parallel universe - you will find a pleasant enough building. (It is in the village of Tong, Bradford - the hig website does not give this address). Difficult to review as staff are very caring and deserve a good mention. But the simple fact remains that this is not up to the brand. I picked this hotel as it was previously great when I stayed some years ago. The location and setting is just wow! Now the rooms are certainly tired and in need of a refresh for sure. The bed wasn't comfortable and lumpy. It seems that investment in keeping things modern isn't high on the priority list. The internet, albeit at the free level is beyond slow and ridiculous.
