This was a satisfactory stay and in close proximity for where I needed to be for work. Ideally placed next to the NCP car park with a half price reduction on standard fees. Staff reasonably friendly. The rooms (I stayed in 117) are tired for want of a better word. Bathroom pretty yucky really. Rust and stains in the bath and a constantly bad dripping tap and shower. Not particularly clean on the floor. The main room was adequate and clean with a comfortable bed. Noise from the main road not too... Read more

Beautiful hotel the entrance is gorgeous and staff are very friendly. I enjoyed my stay but my room was really hot and I couldn't turn the radiator off as the nob had been taken off! The rooms them selves are very nice and clean with plenty of space but need maintaining as the carpet was stained and wall paper was pealing off. When I arrived in my room there was a brownie on the desk saying guest of the day this was a lovely touch and they tasted gorgeous. I ordered room service and the food was... Read more

On New Years Eve 1916/1917 my family and I visited the Bradford Hotel, as has been our custom for the last six years. We had booked our usual "stay overnight, Gala and breakfast package"........The bedrooms were, as usual, large, spotlessly clean and well equipped. All members of staff were excellent and courteous as usual........the meals were excellent as usual......the entertainment? well, it fitted the bill...a fun filled and happy evening .........then something transpired which left everyo... We celebrated New Years Eve at the Bradford's dinner and dance. An excellent evening - great atmosphere, good entertainment, and a very well presented 5 course dinner, "Champagne" toast at midnight and dancing till the early hours. Thoroughly enjoyed it! We stayed overnight but unfortunately, the accommodation standards weren't as good as the banqueting facilities. Broken down lifts, several minor problems in the bedroom (TV not working, broken drawers, missing radiator valves...), breakfast buf... Read more

Came here for a one night stay on a coach trip, Xmas shopping to Leeds and York. We stayed in one of the rooms that had not yet been refurbished but it was clean with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. We had a 3 course meal, which was tasty and well cooked with a choice of 3 starters, mains and desserts and a good breakfast with chefs constantly changing the hot food so we never saw empty serving bowls. Staff were great with a defective light bulb changed in minutes, a fast check in and fr... Read more

This was a Hilton Hotel until last year and I have stayed here for the Bradford Film Festival for many years. Nothing much has changed sine the Hilton days. Staff are friendly and helpful and some of the rooms have been refurbished. Rooms are comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and are well cleaned. Breakfasts have a good choice and they always cook any item if requested (eg - fried eggs) One lift was out of order for a few hours on my visit. There is no car park but guests can use the NCP ca... My friend and I went here as a coach tour which had more older people in it. We managed to get our cases up to our room with only 1 of 2 lifts working but neither lift has worked since (Friday night to Sunday). Having a charming manager standing in the lobby trying to smile his way out of it didn't wash with me. I confronted the manager about the lifts which he neither liked or appreciated . The poor older people struggled to climb up and down the long flights of stairs. I also had to ask to ha... Read more

The room was well appointed with tea and coffee facilities. The water pressure for the shower was very poor, barely more than a drizzle. Unfortunately both lifts were out of order which necessitated negotiating over 8 flights of stairs to reach the fourth floor where my room was located. As a senior citizen with a heart condition this was less than ideal. The hotel is a modernised older structure. Carparking is next door at the NCP with a subsidised rate of £3.50
