The hotel was clean and tidy as expected from a Hilton. However the restaurant left us standing for 10-15 minutes waiting to be seated, but there were many empty tables. The staff were clearly overwhelmed with the dinner. The food was good. The Spa is good but there are not enough toiletries in the shower rooms, such as shampoo, conditioner and things Hilton shouldn't skimp on. The in room toiletries were too small and too few as well, even when more was requested.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our 4 year old son who has.a range of life threatening, complex food allergies. Before our stay I emailed the hotel outlining his allergies and asking for clarification about one of the items on the menu I had obtained online that I thought might be safe for him to eat. I was delighted to receive an email that day informing me that my email had been passed on to the head chef. Not only had the chef been able to confirm that the item on the menu was s... Read more

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Legoland and the fact that it had a pool. Our family arrived, tired but happy after a day at the theme park, to be welcomed quickly and efficiently. My daughter and I were able to have a quick dip in the pool (be aware that it may close quite early). The staff were helpful when we asked for advice on where we might find places to eat. Breakfast is one of my favourite things about staying in a hotel and this didn't disappoint. The breakfast was plen... Read more

Tidy Hotel, with good sized rooms. Our daughters and grandsons had a huge family room, children well catered for with welcoming activity pack. My wife and I had a very spacious double room. Included breakfast had more than enough choice for everyone and was of good quality, Receptionist and all staff we had contact with were all very helpful. Very convenient for LEGOLAND Windsor, which we visited.

Good hotel, rooms clean and tidy. Hotel messed the booking up and put it for a double double room which wasn't needed. On arrival check in was ok. However on the booking in online it stated that breakfast was included. But at Reception showed you had to pay £9.99 per person. The lady on the desk was going to charge extra for the rooms. With all of this even though are Hilton Honours we were told that breakfast is included for non-hilton honours members only. Which to me makes no sense! Surely a... Read more

Our evening buffet meal was fabulous, beautifully cooked and the service was really good as well. Same for breakfast as well, couldn't fault the service. Heavy stained carpets, small and dodgy elevators, etc. The bed, bathroom and furniture in the rooms were also very old. The bathroom smelled like blocked drain. We stayed two nights as part of a Legoland holiday. It was quite pleasant, rooms and facilities at the level you would expect from the Hilton. A bit far from Legoland (~45min drive in traffic), but a good choice to avoid the massively overpriced Legoland hotel We used the pool, which was really enjoyable. However they don't allow children in the pool in the evening, so if you are going to Legoland you can not go in for a swim after that. We used in the morning before breakfast and we were the o... Literally just checked out of this hotel after a short overnight stay. We have stayed in several Hiltons this year for a number of reasons. Whilst this one is smart and the room was one of the biggest we have stayed in there is much room for improvement as it could be one of the best. Ok where do you start with this place, well it's certainly the worst Hilton I have stayed in.. The rooms are old and tired, smell a little bit musty and the bathroom also. The carpets and decor around needs renewing it is dirty scuffed and quite shabby. The bar/lobby furniture is worn, smelly and frayed. Good hotel, good amenities, has vegetarian food in the restaurant. The only thing is Hilton Hotels do not store your HHonors details in their system and you will have an awkward experience at the Front desk fumbling with your cards and worse if you are not carrying it. Because it is not as advanced as a Holiday Inn or Radisson Blu, Hilton will blame it on you for not providing HHonors number at the time of booking.

Hotel was well located to Lapland and the nearby M3 and the reception at the hotel was good, the room was also good. But this is where it started to go wrong, first of all the shower in our room 212 and two other rooms was terrible and the bath was worn and old. The shower had no power and the controls were aged and hard to use. Then we went to the restaurant where nearly £140 of food was ordered and half of it was sent back or left on the plates. I had to go to a local curry house about two mi... Read more

Massively overcharged and still waiting for the credit 4 days later! Shower door wouldn't Close properly, held on by a rusty bit of metal! Mattress hard as a board. Room service staff very good, reception staff good, except for the ability to put the right figure into the card machine

We, a group of 2 and 3 people vid ited here for one night as it was conveniently situated for our day trek to legoland. We arrived early evening and were greeted with smiles and were booked in with ease. The rooms were very laid out and clean. My boys especially loved the shower which squirted them from all directions. On site was a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. All were very pleasant though a little tarting up of the steam room wouldn't go amiss. All towels were provided in the r... Read more

Having stayed at this hotel on business dozens of times before I returned after almost six years to find it was just as welcoming and friendly as it used to be. One of the reception staff even recognised me after all this time and that made me feel welcome and valued.

A group of us stayed here recently after getting a really good deal for 2 nights with breakfast included. We used the leisure facilities on arrival, the pool was a decent temperature but the bubble pool was a bit cold. The first evening we ate in the Larder restaurant, a bit expensive but a very enjoyable meal. Our server was really nice and friendly too. The second evening we ate at a pub not too far away. The rooms were quite small but nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and pillows. Th... Read more

My score would have been higher but for someone trying twice to get into my room whilst I was asleep. It wasn't the other guests fault but reception had given him my room number so he assumed his key wasn't working, went back to have it checked and then tried again by which point I was wise awake and able to tell him of their error. You would think they would warn staff on morning reception about this but apparently not as they were surprised when I mentioned it at check out. Spoilt a good stay.

I stayed here on business for 2 nights. The hotel itself is quite tired and in need of some TLC. The room I had was pretty small but had everything I needed. Everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are what make this a great place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone showed a genuine desire to make sure that you had whatever you needed.
