Stayed for 2 nights, good size double with ensuite shower room, staff very friendly and efficient and we were able to check into our room a hour earlier then advised time, limited parking , breakfast was extra but we agreed to pay the £6.50 and were not disappointed, with a choice of cereals, juices etc and cooked options prepared to order, 10 minute walk to BIC so ideal for a over night show stay, but also close to beach, and gardens etc, a pleasant stay which we felt met our expectations alth... Stayed for 2 nights Sunday-Mon. Room 3. The room was spotless clean. Shower with curtain in bathroom. The toilet didn't flush and we needed to push ball cock down to fill cistern ( we didn't report it). Bed was comfortable but creaked. Bath towel which were white but small, only one hand towel. Kettle in room- " mugs tea, coffee , sugar and milk. Flat screen TV on wall which worked well. Free Wi-Fi. Parking at front of hotel. Used the bar in the evening. Breakfast was ok- sausages were of poor... Read more

Booked this hotel just for one night . Very reasonable price. Hotel room was a family room. Spacious, clean with en suite shower room. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly. Good area close to facilities I needed. Rooms could do with redecoration. My only criticism.

Stayed for one night on route to another destination had a lovely night. Comfortable bed had a great night sleep and breakfast was outstanding. Receptionist extremely helpful and friendly. Only down point is no lift so have to carry luggage up and down stairs but overall a great night and great value for money

Has a good location, right near the beach and the rooms themselves are okay, but the bathrooms really let it down. My room was fine but one of my friends smelt purely of smoke, spoke to reception and they offered to change the room. The bathrooms have some free little toiletries like shower gel and shampoo and conditioner, but the showers are weak and frustrating. The price is reasonable, and you do get what you pay for however, if I was to pay peak season prices I would not be very happy. Overa... Read more

Good stuff. Location is great. Staff friendly. Doesn't smell like an old peoples home (I've stayed in some bad places). Room wasn't hotter than the sun (once stayed in another in Bournemouth...which was hotter than the sun). Room was big (2 adults and 2 kids). Bad stuff. Bathroom!!!!! Wow, I prefer campsite bathrooms. Door didn't shut, last persons toiletries still there, yellow toilet seat, suspicious damp patches on the floor, mouldy (some of that spray would sort with no effort), weak shower,... Read more

Stayed in a family room which was very spacious, double bed and 2 singles so ideal for a family of 4. Bathroom does let it down though as it is tiny! One thing about our family room is where it is situated on the far corner at the front so you get an early wake up call with bin men and delivery lorries at 6am! Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful and polite and it is in a very good location for an easy walk to the beach and pier. If you want a base on a budget in Bournemouth then this ... Read more

***If you don't want to read the whole story, The summary is, it's not a good hotel, even considering it's cheap, I have stayed in cheaper better b&b's. Shower didn't work and they weren't very helpful.*** My fiance and I always head down to Bournemouth every year in the May bank holiday for his birthday. Nothing fancy, just get a reasonable priced place to lay our heads after spending most the time on the beach or out and about. So I want to make it clear that we weren't expecting luxury or... Basic budget hotel with no frills. At £39 for a room per night you get what you pay for. Fine for one night stay. Clean and staff friendly. Good location by beach. The rooms are not soundproofed and the beds/pillows are not the best but you cannot grumble at this as so cheap for area - it is basically a bed for the night.

The cost of the room was well over the £100 mark despite being booked months in advance. The reason was its proximity to the B.I.C where we were going to a concert. We arrived around 2.30 so not late and found that the dozen or so parking spaces at the front of the hotel were all taken (mostly presumably by the staff) when we asked about where we could park this was met with pretty much a shrug and the advice to 'drive around the streets until you find somewhere'. Not the best start after a ... Read more

Don't expect modern Travelodge type furnishings for the room or ensuite, they are dated and basic but comfortable with clean bedding. The breakfast is reasonable with a good choice and decent cooked food. The hotel is not far from the sea front and the staff are friendly and helpful. Some car parking available on the forecourt at the front, Front bedrooms have better views that the back ones and for the price I paid it served us well.

This hotel is cheap, clean, in a great location, offers some car parking and a tasty cooked breakfast, free WiFi. Yes it is dated and 'tired' looking but you get what you pay for. We felt our sea-view rooms were great value for the special offer price of £54 per room that we paid. The Family room was reasonably spacious, with tea and coffee making facilities, small TV and hair dryer. The Double room was smaller but had a nice sea view and modern shower room. Please note that there is no li... Read more

The hotel is a very short walk from the top of West Cliff and the zig zag path to get to the excellent beach, tough walk back up but we cheated once using the West Cliff Lift! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfasts both mornings of our stay. Room 12 good value for money small / narrow with a large bathroom and double shower but the view of the fire escapes was a down turn but we did chose one of the revamped rooms and were aware that 'sea views' were not available! Spent 1 night here and it cost a fortune, obviously the hotel is cashing in on events at the nearby bic. We had a family room and I can honestly say what a dump. It cost a lot of money and the beds were uncomfortable, cracks all over the walls and ceiling, and the carpets and curtains were old and filthy. So fed up my mum spent so much money on this place when it was so horrible.

The hotel was clean and well priced and the beds were very comfortable with everything we needed. The only issue was that the room needed sound proofing since we could hear pretty much everything that went on above us and outside our door including traffic which led to a disturbed sleep and a early wake up call from other guests moving about.

My wife booked us a night in this hotel for an event we were seeing in Bournemouth. On arrival we we're lucky enough to grab the remaining space in the car park. The spaces cover parking for about 10-15 cars so be prepared to have to find somewhere else on a busy time. The hotel is dated and in serious need of a refurb, however, whilst it is old looking it's still presentable. Once over the first impression of the hotel we went to book in and I must say the receptionist was friendly, polite ... Read more

Good value for money hotel, superb breakfast. - I have still given a very good rating despite my worst nights sleep ever (and I mean ever)!!! We visited this hotel July 2016 and were given a room at the front of the building, big mistake as traffic and passers by could be heard all night. The hotel however was clean, The staff great hospitality, and breakfast superb, In hindsight I should have complained at the time. I will visit again but I will make sure I ask for a room at the back. Limited ... Read more
