Good location for town center although this Hotel is on a very steep hill so beware. Very clean rooms and nicely decorated. Menu in bar very limited you will probably eat out (I can recommend the Hilton next door). Breakfast is excellent and staff are very very friendly. Beware or room 438 as the pipework is very noisy and we had a very disturbed sleep. Dont bother paing extra for sea view as not much can be seen.

My family and I spent two night in this hotel as a min-break. The hotel is located close to Bournemouth beach (about 7 mins walk). The location of the hotel fronts out onto Upper Terrace Road and the side and rear onto residential streets. Parking is via an underground car park (shared with the adjacent Hilton Hotel). Parking is on a first come first served basis and is charged £10 per day (added to your hotel bill). The rooms are spacious, light and clean. A reasonable quality buffet breaksfas... Read more

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Check-in took a while as there were quite a few noisy stag and hen parties string. Nice clean hotel in a very good location. Rooms are quite basic and very, very hot. The air conditioning in our room was not very good, and you cannot open any Windows. Staff were very friendly, especially Jonathon on the front desk. I'm on my second trip to the hotel, it's still just as beautiful, staff very friendly and nice to see the same people again. Unfortunately the care for dietary requirements hasn't improved. Communication between teams must be nonexistent as the correct food wasn't noted by chefs but, most certainly not their fault at all. Shame, as I love the hotel, but communication lets it down for anyone with specific dietary requirements.

Spent two nights here. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the hotel is simply and tastefully decorated. Staff were extremely helpful. The hotel does not appear to have a large kitchen and the only meals available were breakfast and snacks. We found the food basic but quite adequate. I stayed here recently for one night, whilst away for work. This Hampton is hard to tell apart from a middle range Hilton, except for the choices at breakfast. The quality at breakfast is good, but choice more limited than a standard Hilton. There is a car park attached to the hotel, which cost £10 per night I think. If you want to sleep at this hotel don't book a room on this floor as the music goes on until after 2pm and the staff are unable or unwilling to ask the bar to turn this down to an acceptable level. Not up to what I'd expected being hilton group. Room was very clean & tidy you would have expected this though given the building is pretty new. But to be fair small for a 'queensize' room & pretty basic when compared to alternatives. Not even a towel rail in the bathroom? - why when they request guests reuse towels where possible. Also our shower drained slower than the flow of water (which wasn't that impressive either) if you had a long shower the water would have been over the tray & all ove... Read more

We really enjoyed our one night at the Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth. We paid £89 - it was a Thursday night - and of course an extra £10 for parking. For that price I think it was good value, but I really don't think I'd want to pay a lot more because although it was all we wanted for that night, it wasn't luxurious. Not exactly 'Hilton' but not far from it either in service and quality. I will say a good compromise. The room was clean and well maintained. The staffers are mostly helpful save for one grumpy kitchen staff. Suggestion: they need to connect the car park to the hotel lobby/reception by lift. It's a drag carrying ones' bags from the car park to the front reception. I have back pain and did not appreciate doing that.

Worried about the Hampton which is next to the Hilton? Don't be. Smart tidy well fitted room and bathroom. Our twin room is very comfortable and provides a ideal base to explore the area. Breakfast is better than expected, in fact I would go so far as to say the bacon could be the best we have had in a hotel for ages! Staff really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, didn't need anything else. Cannot comment on breakfast as we took advantage of the free late checkout at 1pm. Staff were polite and attentive.

Location was very good, town centre two minute walk. Staff were very efficient and helped with all queries. Room was lovely, only grumble was the duvet was a little thin for this time of year, but other than that - perfect. Breakfast was hot and constantly refilled, very nice.

This was my first stay in a Hilton hotel. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast of good quality. Will definitely use again in the future. Great value hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel is and would definitely recommend to others and stay again. The hotel is in a brilliant location and the room we stayed in was a good size, with a lovely bathroom, especially the shower.

Booked a weekend in Bournemouth and was extremely pleased with both the location and facilities of the hotel. All staff were welcoming and professional and willing to help. Evening meal at the Hilton restaurant next was one of the best I have had in a while for both choice and quality of food and service of staff.
