We arrived here on Friday 29th April for 3 nights as part of a long weekend away. The room was very nice and comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. We loved the four poster bed and we had a very comfortable sleep. The fridge kept our drinks nice and chilled when required. The hosts are exceptional and give the best customer service possible. Simon and Rhona are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for them. We will only come back here when we come to Blackpool. Oh, the Breakfast ... Read more

This was our 6th visit to The New Guilderoy, so as expected it was fantastic from start to finish. We requested room 5 as this is our favourite double with a very comfy bed! 5 star breakfast as usual and a spotless, comfortable clean room as always. Simon, Rhona & Mr Bruno (their gorgeous dog) were a pleasure to be around and welcomed us with open arms. They run the place like clockwork and always still have time for a chat and some banter. In the year 2016 there is just one Friday the 13th and my wife and I decided this was a good date to take a trip to Blackpool. Booked the New Guilderoy and off we went. Got the car crunched in Blackpool but no injuries and got to hotel just a bit later than intended. Our room was lovely - not the biggest we have ever had but perfectly adequate. Simon and his lovely wife were fabulous - nothing too much trouble, they even said if we felt a bit shook up we could stay an extra day "on the house"... Read more

Excellent breakfast which is buffet plus food cooked to order. Lots of nice touches, freebies in room inc sweets, bottled water, fridge to use. My son loved that it had ps2 in room. Looking for somewhere to stay I came across this place. Clean, presentable and well priced. Simon and Rhona obviously take massive pride in what they do and it shows. Rooms are clean and well serviced. The breakfast was excellent, worth it for that reason alone. I came down with family for the weekend and wasn't disappointed and I am already planning my next Blackpool trip for later on in the year and will be bitterly disappointed if I can't stay here. Highly recommended!!
