We booked this stay on the day we arrived. We normally have a suite but this time we had to have a room, all the suites were booked due to Strictly being in town.   The room however was a refurbished room and very nice. It was modern and had loads of plug sockets and USB points, which I loved. There was also very good modern lighting. We couldn't get the heating to work properly but they brought us a radiator and we were cosy and snug in the room.  The only problem was the Internet, I couldn't... Read more

My family stayed in the Blackpool Hilton over New Year. The hotel is one of the largest buildings on the front and appears a bit out of keeping. Having said that, the design quite cleverly gives most (or all) of the rooms a sea view. It requires a walk of about 20 minutes to get to the Tower area but the tram runs right outside and there is a nearby stop. There was plenty of parking (for which a charge is made) when we were there which is more than can be said for some of the promenade hotel... Read more

Great Big Comfy bed, room clean, bathroom clean but extremely poorly dated fittings, car parking charge, lovely staff, usual high chain average buffet breakfast, plates not hot, poor value breakfast, should change to freshly cooked food, didn't use pool etc so cant comment, good location, would stay again. 7/10. The staff service is attentive, efficient and very friendly, but the bedrooms leave a lot to be desired. Luckily, I was there on business, but I wouldn't choose this hotel to stay in. The decor is stained, old and tired, the bathrooms have miss match tile repairs, and don't try to shower when next door is also having a shower.

The room was clean and adequate, but shabby and old fashioned. Bathroom had seen better days. Huge damp patch on bedroom ceiling. Leisure facilities the same could do with a make over The staff were excellent and this made up for the disappoint with accommodation

This was my first trip to Blackpool, a conference at the Hilton. Boy, Blackpool is a bit bleak in winter. I went for a walk along the front and I saw one other brave person. The hotel itself was saved by the friendliness of the staff who were great. The hotel itself is faded 1980s glam. I arrived late and so had dinner in the restaurant. A duck confit raised from the dead by some method of heating. I'm not sure if it was an oven as the duck leg was as pale as a baby's bottom. I'd return in the ... Read more

We have stayed here a number of times and were very pleased with the significant improvements on this recent visit. The staff were great. We were very pleased to receive an upgrade to a renovated room on arrival and on leaving they gave us car parking for free. The new rooms especially the bathrooms look good. Dry cleaning was back within a couple of hours. Breakfast options were vast and the staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. All this and at a great price. We will return.

The staff in the hotel very friendly; nice choice of breakfast. But hotel needs refurbishment and better cleaning of the rooms. I have stayed in family room during quiet period. If you stay with children be careful on the bed as my daughter was hit herself by protruding desk.

booked in for new years eve and new years night, staff were helpful from when we walked in the door, couldn't do enough for you. the room was so comfy with everything you needed in there, only had bed and breakfast but the food was really good with the waiters falling over them selves to be of help, going next year.
