I've returned to the Hilton in a refurbished room. I have to say it is far better than the last time I was here. The new rooms are lovely. Unfortunately the bed is still very hard but they are quite happy to put loads of soft quilts under the sheet with makes it more comfortable. They now have walk in showers which are so much better than the old baths with shower over them. The staff are so lovely I can't rate them highly enough especially Freddie who remembered me from one of my visits a year... Read more

My wife and I stayed for one night and wanted to stay at an hotel that was above what you would expect in Blackpool. The room had recently been refurbished and was a nice room. The positives The overall service was very good , the food was excellent. The room was large, bright clean and modern with a very large TV and a huge king bed. Negatives The reception service was poor. They should have an express checkout as we had to queue behind a large group of people checking in who where all indi... Read more

Stayed with 3 kids under 7. Nice big room with sea view. Great location. Easy access to trams and main strip. Unfortunately room was quite dirty and window was broken so stuffy at night, they didn't fix it until we checked out, but did provide fans to keep cool. Can be noisy at times with banging doors and other guests running the halls at night. Breakfast great. Staff fantastic. Nothing too much trouble, genuine and kind.

I reckon the Premier Inn would of provided a better and cleaner room. Our room was very dated and the bathroom was covered in limescale and hair from the previous occupant. Windows were so dirty you could hardly see though them. We booked the Hilton because of the brand name so expected a lot better. Will never go again or recommend to anyone. One plus though the breakfast was good and the restaurant staff very helpful.

I am a Hilton fan which is reflected in my Diamond status, so use the brand a lot. Normally as a Diamond member, and there is no executive lounge, you are given a drinks voucher, but not here. We stayed Friday evening, the 17th June. Expensive is an understatement of the planet ?????. Breakfasts are nice, rooms an overpriced insult to ask anyone to stay here is a joke.. Corridors feel nicer than the bedrooms by far but I didn't pay for the corridor or did I??

I originally booked a one night stay for myself, partner and daughter to visit some attractions in Blackpool. On the morning we were due to check out we had enjoyed Blackpool so much and decided to stay for another night at the hotel. Although my room could have done with a lick of paint in places, it was clean, comfortable and obviously good enough for me to book for another night. Stayed for one night. Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely big bed with crisp white sheets. Room quite small but perfectly functional with good shower in bathroom. Nice walk along sea front into town but trams just outside if you prefer. Lots of choice for breakfast and staff lovely and smiley. If only all hotels had such friendly staff! Breakfast could have been hotter but that's buffet for you. Car park £5 per night. Would stay again.

The hotel is in serious need of a modernisation. The reception area is very brown and wooden looking. Our family room was looking very dated with an old fashioned dark wood feel that was chipped and marked. The bathroom was also in need of an update as it looks like it hasn't been refreshed in a few years. The upside of this hotel is the massive car park that is reasonably priced at £5 per day. Also the restaurant area is very good and breakfast offers a wide selection of choices. It looks like... Read more

Surprised to see that there wasnt an ac in the room but there was heating unit in a summer location. I guess just because of the freezy ocean. We stopped at Blackpool as part of a mini staycation trying to do a few fun bucket list type trips. As I've said in the review about our previous stay in the Hilton Northampton, I've stayed in quite a few Hilton Hotels and unfortunately this isn't what I would have expected. I am writing this at 2:43am as I lie awake listening to 5 men load a van outside my bedroom window (room 206). They've been doing it for the past couple of hours, talking loudly, swearing. I phoned the night porter who said he'd sort it out. Nothing's happened yet. So tired.

Hotel was good and the service was great. Staff very helpful - particularly duty manager David who couldn't have done enough for my family. Slight issue with number of lifts available but work was being to create another service. Overall we had a great time at this hotel and will return in the future

We booked with friends for 2 nights to see the illuminations. This is my favourite Blackpool Hotel, it is what it is and you get good quality in an area that can see mixed quality (I am comparing directly with the Imperial where we have also stayed in the past) Despite the well publicised issue with the lifts (they are investing in the Hotel to make it more future proof), this is a good Hotel, I believe all rooms are sea view, Wi-Fi quality is good enough for 2 x 15 year old boys and the breakf... Very average hotel. Expected a much higher standard from a Hilton hotel. Room was clean however was very small. We requested one of the refurbished rooms which are on the top floor. We didn't manage to get much sleep however due to very thin walls and a continuous clunking from the elevator mechanisms above are room even although we were 3 rooms away from the elevator. Pool was very poor! Definitely needs a revamp! There is a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet and the staff were... Read more

booked a suite and a family room for 3 kids towards the end of the summer holidays. We went to the kids room first. A fair bit away from our suite but they are 11 , 12 and 14 so no big deal. Their room was really good. Then went to the suite and I can honestly say I have never seen a suite as big as this in my life. I cannot quite remember but I am pretty sure it had 7 windows. The whole family could easily have stayed here. It was and indeed is awsome. We did not want to leave the room . 2 lux... Read more

As a Hilton HHonors Diamond member, I received an upgrade from a standard room to a 'plus' room (i.e. a refurbished room with a view of the sea). There was a welcome letter, bottle of wine and two cookies in the room, which I thought was a very nice touch. Breakfast in the Promenade Restaurant on the first floor is available between 7 and 10am on weekdays and between 7:30 and 11am on weekends. It was very busy as there were a few tour groups. We chose the Hilton in Blackpool for a one night stay as I hoped the Hilton brand would guarantee a certain standard for our room and general services. The hotel is in an excellent location right on the sea front, a short walk from Blackpools main attractions. As with any sea-front hotel, there needs to be a regular maintenance program to keep the building fabric up to scratch. If you looked closely in our room, there were evidence of areas needing slight attention. The main lifts were being ref... Read more

Booked the Hilton for 2 nights as a honeymoon, as the hilton brand is synonymous with luxury. On arrival reception staff were efficient and friendly, and the lobby was very nice. Our room was on the fourth floor and as we stepped out of the lift you could see the decor was very old and shabby. Our room itself was very dated, with areas of peeling wallpaper and stains on the carpet. Although the mattress on the bed was comfortable, the bed itself made horrendous noise with every little movement! ... Read more

Stayed here Thursday and Friday evening for a family holiday. Room wasn't ready when we got there but completed paper work so it was easy to check in when ready. Check in was really busy, 1 member of staff in training so it was quite slow but you have to learn somehow. Once in the family room (room 358) it was spacious and had king size bed and two small pull out beds. Pull out beds were pretty uncomfortable and meant broken sleep for my son especially. I stay in Hilton Hotels a lot and expect a certain standard. I had stopped here a few years ago on business and the place felt a bit tired, however the hotel has now had a lovely renovation and is among the best. We booked a family room and were given a refurbished room on the top floor. Was big with fitted bunk beds and you could still smell the newness. Reading some of the other reviews, it is obvious that not all rooms have been renovated yet. Once they have, no one should be disappointe... Read more

I have previously stayed in Premier Inn at Blackpool for many years so by staying in Hilton I thought this would be better. The bathroom is nicer however the rooms are pretty much the same and the breakfast was no where near as good as Premier Inn's in my opinion. I was disappointed, I would go cheaper next time instead of paying more. Stunning views though and is a nice and tidy hotel.
