This hotel has a great location but is showing its age and the rooms are tired and some of poor standard. Prices can reflect this so be sure to get a room that are street or sea facing as rooms in the centre of hotel in the atrium are small and the windows are covered in bird muck. The food is served buffet style and not of great quality but it does have a cafe with a small bar with drinks very cheap during happy hr. There is bingo at night and entertainment in the ballroom with a larger bar an... Read more

The only hotel on the sea front, I mean right on the sea, car parking £3 per night. Its an old building, used to be a blue coat hotel. Still got great entertainment every night, breakfast all you can eat help your self, LOVELY staff . At the top end of Blackpool, so away from all the noise, but a few tram stops away to the centre. Very grand old building, looks like it could do with a revamp but it would spoil its charm

Stayed here as a quick an easy access to Blackpool Town centre. Did pay much for the hotel thankfully as it is a very tired hotel. Room needs a good revamp. In fact the whole hotel could do with one! But it did the job for one night. It wouldn't be a place I'd stay in for more than one night. It does have entertainment too if that's your thing but Blackpool is on your doorstep!

I stayed here recently with my friend we came on a coach trip to Blackpool. Not the best hotel stay I've had The hotel is obviously passed its best. The fire alarm going off at 3 am didn't help. There was no follow-up announcement on the tannoy to say that it was okay as it was going off intermittently, another hotel guest had to go down and check with reception. On a positive note the staff are nice and I would like to give a special mention to one of the waiters: Mark he went out of his way... Read more

This hotel is a disgrace, it is so run down, even before you enter the hotel you know it is going to be bad, I honestly have nothing good to say about it apart from the location, oh and sheets were quite clean, very unkempt, breakfast was inedible, staff not bothered about anything.
