Stayed here for 1 night. Brilliant location as very central. Apartments are lovely with fully equipped kitchen. Clean and tidy. Staff here were lovely especially a lady on reception called Anne Marie. Clearly enjoyed her job and was very pleasant to every customer. Will definitely stay again !

Stayed here for 2 nights on a groupon deal. The room/apartment had everything you could need, comfy bed, small kitchenette, lounge with T.V. and another T.V. in the bedroom. Breakfast was included and also a bottle of wine, bottle of pop and a pizza. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the whole place was spotlessly clean. It was also very secure as you couldn't access you floor in the lift without your room card. We would certainly stay here again. It was a short walk from New Street a... Read more

I have just stayed at the staybridge suites and I could not recommend it any more. Great central location, excellent large clean rooms / mini flat with excellent facilities. Friendly and very helpful staff. I would defiantly recommend it. I have one complaint. I was told that breakfast was served from 6.30 but fruit etc was usually put out from 6am. On the morning of Wednesday 1st June because I got to the hotel late, I went down at 6am to get a banana before going to the gym. The lady was unp... Read more

Excellent apartments, great location right in city centre. Few mins walk from bullring shopping centre. Bed was comfy, blackout curtains so we got a good nights sleep. Safe in wardrobe. Had hairdyer, iron and ironing board. Lovely and clean Car park round corner (ncp high st) get ticket validated at reception for a discounted car park rate. Lovely pizzeria round corner: la Vera. Will definately use again if back in birmingham.

This place is easy to get to and has a lot of stuff all within walking distance of it. I had a one bedroom apartment. The bed is fairly high but very comfortable. There is a modern flat screen tv with ports for usb or pc/hdmi connections. Kitchen and bathroom are small but for a one bedroom apartment it will do. Good place to stay in and location is great. only downside is the price at certain times of the month, but worth a stay.

I stayed here for one night with work and loved it! The booking in process is very efficient and the staff are friendly and helpful. The concept of an hour of free snacks and drinks is brilliant, the rooms are totally self sufficient and very contemporary and stylish, clean and so well planned out they give the illusion of space. I will be looking at their suites in other cities.

Location : 5-10 min. walk from New Street station and Bullring, lots of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets around, especially in the new grand central. Reception : on the second floor, check-in and check-out was quite straight forward and fast. Room : studio : good size, kitchen area was a bit too big while sleeping and sitting area was a ... The rooms have a kitchen and utensils/cutlery available for your own cooking. There is a mini-gym and a laundry room downstairs to use and stay. The Staybridge Suites are always my favourite place to stay where possible as they offer the ability to self cater whilst away from home through business. I spend many nights a year away and always prefer to cook for myself if I can. The Birmingham hotel is in a very central location, close to Grand Central station, shops and business district. The staff were really friendly and the tea/coffee in the lounge area was a welcome addition (there is a kettle and tea/coffee in your room but if you like fresh milk then use the facilities downstairs). So I got a new job a couple of months back and because of this I stay over in Birmingham fairly regularly. This was the fifth hotel I have tried in Birmingham and I will now stick with this one in future. As a solo female business traveller, what to do for dinner is always a quandary. You don't have this issue with this place as there is a kitchenette. Couple of ringed hob, microwave, cutlery, plates etc and dishwasher even. Central location and perfect for long stays. Staff skilled and friendly. Perfect for business - fast check in and out. Take away breakfast, fast wifi and a wide selection of food and drink to buy. It's not a traditional "hotel" and I wouldn't really recommend it for a get away/romantic break or family hotel (high it caters well for families) but as a business hotel that is smart, modern, clean and efficient it's excellent and the staff are brilliant! This is a good chain - the rooms are mini apartments and we had a one bedroom. Being let down by details - power sockets / lamps not working, poor air conditioning (not way of opening the windows so totally reliant on it and it just didn't keep the room cool even though it wasn't a particularly hot day), tap really loose in the bathroom, roof panels not fitting properly and a poor selection of TV channels. You also get a bottle of wine included! Downside is you have to have the pizza so early because the restaurant the pizza comes from turns the ovens off far too early - in my opinion. We stayed here for the week-end and it's a brilliant place to stay as a base. It has a little kitchenette with a fridge and microwave which is perfect if you're arriving late. Rather cleverly - there is milk available all the time in fridges near the kitchen so proper coffee and tea whenever you need. Breakfast is a DIY affair - but excellent and you want for nothing. The USP of Staybridge is the size of the rooms which are indeed a suite - the biggest hotel room I've had after Luxor in Vegas. On entry, you have a kitchenette/lounge area (+ larger TV), with sofa, then through a door the bedroom (smaller TV) and bathroom (shower/bath). The decor is a bit businessman so the overall effect is a bit soulless, but the space is quite something. The idea is you can do simple cooking/reheating (double-hob & mini-oven) for longer stays. Room was nice and big, in line with other Staybridge locations I've been at. Very nice kitchen corner with enough applications to make yourself a meal. Nice, big shower and good complimentary toiletries. Complimentary breakfast in the mornings with a nice selection of foods. Possible to bring the food back up to your room as well. Good service provided by the staff at... Read more

I stayed here twice in October 2016. I was very impressed with the rooms and the physical layout of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and well-maintained. Despite the city centre location, the rooms are quiet, so rest is easy. I was also very impressed with the staff, who were to a person friendly and efficient. On my first stay, the team found a way to provide me with an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. I would love to give the property a full five stars... Read more

We booked to stay at the 'Staybridge Apartments' in September today business meetings nearby. When we enquirer about parking we were told there is parking facilities. On our arrival with 5 people and a van load of stuff, we couldn't stop near the location due to the new Tram Railway system in place. We had to walk the best part of 0.25 mile with our luggage and more to get there. There was no mention of this during our booking nor on the website. To add insult to injury, we then had to find a ca... Read more

Stayed here for one night. It's right in the centre of Birmingham, a short walk from New Street station. Staff are really friendly. Was checked in by Nick who very kindly let me check in early and also gave me an upgrade. My apartment was spotlessly clean. Nice modern decor and comfy bed. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Birmingham. 10 out of 10 Staybridge

Staybridge suites were the perfect base from which to enjoy the beautiful city of Birmingham. Located very centrally, the hotel was barely a ten minute flat walk to the Bullring. One could also reach New Street or Moor Street stations within a 5 minute walk. My partner and I enjoyed a two night stay here. Staff were extremely accommodating. We were offered a choice of higher or lower floors upon arrival, and opted for the former (our view was wonderful). The room itself was very clean and nicel... Read more

Would recommend choosing these suites for a long weekend or extended stay. The apartments are clean and spacious and the self catering facilities would be a welcome convenience if you are staying for a few days. The suites are centrally located and all shopping, entertainment and leisure facilities are within a short walking distance from the hotel. The receptions Bee Bee & Naomi deserve recognition for the warm welcome and efficient check-in upon arrival and throughout our stay.

The communal areas were also beautiful and modern with helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. I agree with all of the recent reviews of this place. I wouldn't come back to Birmingham and stay somewhere else unless I had to. Every chain hotelier should come and visit to understand what good looks like, and to beg, steal or borrow the Staybridge's ideas. I paid for a standard room but ended up in a 1-bed suite, 706. As big as my flat in the centre of London! I have problems with light and noise, not here. And all the hotel staff I talked to, so nice and positive. Hence I'm requesting impro... Read more

I attended a meeting at this hotel yesterday. The meeting was held in the room they refer to as the Den. A really clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast offering. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the city and easy to get to from the train station.

The apartment we stayed in was spotlessly clean, quite big and the walk in shower was a great little bonus . We had a complimentary breakfast which was very good. The staff were friendly but not intrusive. It wasn't the easiest place to find as from the outside it was easy to walk past as you couldn't tell it was the apartments .

Stayed at the Staybridge Suites many times in the past in various countries and I can tell you I have never been able to find any fault or give poor critique in anyone of them. This one in Birmingham, again like all the rest was scrupulously clean, modern, chic, trendy. The Suites are big enough to relax in, their is the usual high class Power Showers, Open plan Lounge / Diner / Kitchen area and many have two Bathrooms and Bedrooms depending on whether you go Standard or Executive. We've stopped at this hotel on a number of occasions and it's always been excellent . The location is great being next to the station/ bull ring . The facilities are great and the staff always friendly and helpful . The breakfast is good ( but could do with serving till 11 on a weekend not 10.30 )

On the whole this hotel was excellent, clean and trendy. Comfy bed, powerful shower and quiet. Few picky points, you get a coffee pot but no fresh coffee, a dishwasher but no tabs, if you were staying for a while you don't mind buying these, but having a few little bits like this lying around would help those staying for one night only. Also we really expected there to be an oven, unfortunately just a microwave.

Really pleased I came across this place when searching for where next to stay in Birmingham. The place is spacious, very clean, decorated in modern colourful style and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms (we had the smaller option) were so well thought out and well-equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable with good quality bedding that felt a treat, A bath size footprint for the shower and modern spacious bathroom. The kitchen area was a bonus with most things supplied e... Read more

Spent a night at the Staybridge apartments in Birmingham. We were visiting the German Christmas market and a few nice places to eat and drink around the city centre. Reception is via the lift to the 2nd floor. They were helpful and professional. The room we had on the ninth floor faced Corporation street but was nice and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with the basic requirements one would expect and the bedroom and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available from 7.30 to 1... Read more

Spacious and modern "Queen" suite on the top floor including a fully-fitted kitchen (apart from a traditional oven), huge bed and free wi-fi. Fantastic value for money for the space, but most of all for the comfiest bed in Birmingham. Breakfast was better than expected - we thought a cold buffet was on the cards - although the sausage failed sausage test, but plenty to choose from and nice leisurely feel. Very impressed overall.

We wouldn't normally consider a suite for a single night stay but with it being the first weekend of Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas market most of the city's hotels were packed and overpriced. We got a larger than average room with the advantage of a kitchen area that although we didn't use it made the room feel more spacious. Staff were being trained on check in so were a little slow although friendly and attentive - the free wine and snack was a nice bonus. The advantage of Staybridge suites... Read more

Stayed here many times whilst working in Brum. This place is well situated next to New Street Station and the Bullring as well as the Xmas German Markets this time of year. The place is pretty much a hotel but with apartment style rooms, all very modern with good facilities in them.
