The Indigo is a four-and-half-star kind of hotel, very good and I'd happily choose to stay there again. But would I choose it over the Hotel La Tour? Maybe, for location and health club including swimming pool. But the rooms alone are not as plush. Room service was good although expensive - an £18 burger was very very good indeed. But still: £18. No complaints about the basics other than no opening window and slow air conditioning. Outside: great location for the centre of Birmingham, an... Read more

Really lovely hotel. The staff were really welcoming and pleasant. Found the bouncers near the lifts amusing but nice to know they were around. Had a quiet relaxing time and minimal noise from surrounding rooms. The views overlook other buildings and not really anything pretty, just rooftops. Never tried the breakfast. Parking is annoying as you have to park at the mailbox and walk with all your luggage back and forth. Only downside

Me and my partner stayed here on a Friday night - and overall had a lovely time. The hotel room was nothing spectacular, but it was pleasant. Maybe we were expecting a little more as it's located in the Cube? The floor-length window was a nice touch, but the dressing table was pushed up against it and blocked some of the view. Toiletries were of good quality, and plenty of fluffy towels. Complimentary kit-kats and water are stored in the mini fridge. The location is great, in the middle of the t... Read more

Stayed here as seeing a show in the city. Hotel was spotless and rooms were beautiful. The staff were warm and friendly, I thought the call to check everything was OK was a particularly nice touch. Only a couple of issues, firstly when enquiring about car park no price was mentioned so got stung with an £18 bill for less than 24 hours which there is no way I would have paid if I'd known. Secondly, the air conditioning in our room didn't work and we didn't realise until middle of the night. The ... Read more

I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend along with my husband as we had a show at the 02 Academy booked, we had a lovely stay! CHECK IN- Fast, friendly and efficient. Was checked in and in out rooms within 10 mins! HOTEL- Modern, stylish and easy to find. Located inside of the cube, we parked in the Mailbox (£17 parking for 24 hours with discount) and made the quick 5 minute walk through the shopping centre into the hotel. The views are the best at this hotel. This was the third time we stayed here. Breakfast never goes wrong. The executive room that we had first was tooo hot. We stayed here a few weekends back, we absolutely loved it. What a stunning, modern hotel. The lady on reception was nice and very welcoming and the room was so clean and modern. When we arrived we were given a free pass to an event that was going on upstairs in the Laurent Perrier bar with a free glass of champagne and was also told that we could use the Spa and Pool facilities. This hotel has a lot to offer and is also in a fantastic location.

FAO: management I am emailing in regards to several issues which unfortunately made our stay in your hotel disappointing. On arrival despite reception staff being very friendly we had the unfortunate communication with the people in the room next door shouting and arguing throughout the duration of the stay despite advising a staff member in the reception to politely ask them to keep the noise down. Many things were sadly very disappointing. I requested a quiet room, as I sleep poorly if noisy. I had also had a terribly busy week at work the preceding week, working from 7am to midnight for 9 days continuously, and so needed to know I could rest in day if exhausted by activity in Birmingham. I was told that floor 24 probably not good then as if restaurant noisy, I would hear that, as above the room. So, we were given floor 23. Where to even begin... This hotel is not only full of incompetence and a severe (and dear I say engrained) lack of common sense. My stay started to go wrong when we complained that our air con wasn't working, something which is essential in such a building where it's all glass and the windows don't open. We asked for it to be fixed at around 7.30pm, and we then went to supper in the restaurant on the top floor (another disaster but not the fault of the hotel). When we got back at 11pm, the air... Room was dark, it was ok, compare it to the premier inn, didn't like the fact ever one uses the lift Good points - robes slippers complimentary 2 cans of coke and the fact u can use the swimming pool. Breakfast was a bit slow sat there for 15 mins before any one even asked us for our order, there was only about 15 people there

My stay has been brilliant. The hotel staff are warm and inviting. The top floor lounge is something out of the movies, the Eggs Benedict is worth getting up in the morning for. I've stayed at over 50 hotels in Birmingham. This is my new Birmingham hotel.Highly recommend this place. It's location is perfect, 5 min walk from everywhere. The staff really make this place.

Me and my partner recently stayed at Hotel Indigo, hoping for a romantic evening in the city. I know it can't be helped but there was so much noise from the rooms either side. Having said that, the view was lovely, staff were friendly and it was clean. However, I didn't think much of the...
