Stated here for my husbands work convention. The Hotel is nice, great facilities and the staff worked really hard. Only 2 stars for the room, small cramped room, 2 really high single beds on wheels which moved every time you went near the bed. Grubby bathroom, hair in the bath, splatters on the mirror and dirty razor socket. The room had an ironing board, which actually was very dangerous, it rocked and collapsed when using it. All in all great facilities, room a let down!

A fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. I have stayed here many times and will stay here again and again. One of the best hotels in the Uk. I simply love the place and can not fault it. I recommend this place to anyone I know. You will not be disappointed

Always stay here in Birmingham and always very good. Staff are excellent but if you want a beer it's very pricey. Good pool and nice breakfast. Great open bar area for food. Been here a while though so need to be careful it doesn't get dated Hilton...

Situated just off the M42 the hotel offers good facilities, helpful staff and very tasty food.Parking a little on the expensive side but all in all I would recommend The Hilton Metropole for larger meetings

I stayed here for one night, as I was flying away the next day, after checking in and getting the keys to our room we was greeted with a dirty cloth, and worst of all a filthy toilet, the staff had the cheek to say the room gets a second check, clearly this room had not been checked twice, I won't be using Hilton hotel ever again.

People partying in the corridor and playing loud music, even though there were signs saying it was a quiet area. Called reception, who didn't answer for ages, but then said they would send security up to deal with the problem. Finally the noise stopped around 05.45, by that time my husband and I were awake and so we just waited for breakfast to start at 7am. Why are there no security walking around the hotel making sure people are not being noisy in the quiet areas? When we checked out no one as... Read more

I attended the Hilton Birmingham Metropole during a salsa dance weekender for New Year. The whole experience was utterly faultless. It actually feels like coming "home" every time I walk in the place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are out of this world and I am already looking forward to my next stay. Thanks to everyone involved. Love it.

I went for a convention so was not expecting much, but the way this hotel charged was highway robbery. The wifi cost a bomb and was appalling. I asked to borrow an adaptor and was told the hotel policy was that they did not loan them; they just sold them. The fellow then opened a box of adaptors that looked they were far from new. It looked liked they had a racket going where they 'sold' adaptors that had been left behind by forgetful guests. Appalling. The hotel is tired, it was overcrowded and... Read more

Tim helped us with our luggage was super lovely and really helpful. The hotel was not as lovely as Tim though. Poor decor and a lack of atmosphere...Come here only to see Tim. I need to fill a minimum word count: TIM, TIM, TIM. x
