Stayed in this hotel for a two day sales meeting, with approximately 100 colleagues. Prior to the meeting, our organiser passed on a message asking me to suggest dishes which would work with my unusual food allergy. I had already given them full details of the allergy but they wanted me to suggest meal ideas. I sent them a choice of three dishes I cook at home, with specific and trusted ingredients, as well as a lunch suggestion. Day 1: I had to ask for my lunch, but it was a lovely pasta salad... What a beautiful hotel. The grounds are lovely. Went there as a group of us for my friends birthday. The rooms are amazing. New. Modern. Clean. We had a 18:00 cocktail n canopes hour thought that was a nice touch. The only downside for us is the amount of time we had to wait for our food at dinner, nearly an hour. By the time the food came we were ready to call it a night. Otherwise beautiful hotel

Lovely hotel, really clean rooms and nice and modern. Breakfast was very nice, good selection of food. Only thing I would say could have been better was the fact we could hear people in the corridors above the sound of our TV , I thought they would be a little more sound proof, the doors banging etc wasn't great. But still had a good nights sleep and very comfy bed too. Would go again!

Stayed for one night with son, daughter-in-law and grandson as a treat after a week's caravan holiday and to break up the journey home. We had Executive rooms with access to the Executive Lounge and were impressed with the overall décor, service and facilities. Busy hotel, lots going on. Wouldn't recommend coming here for a relaxing break as the bar is always full of footballers or families who have been watching football, they often re-design the whole bar so they can sit in groups of 10/15 which leaves very little seating for hotel guests. Can be noisy and disruptive. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel rooms are nice but slightly overpriced for what they are. Mostly disinterested unhelpful staff. Room unprepared. Asked for a steak (9.10pm as room info said until 10) to be told it was 9pm. So had to prove it. Then it was honoured only to get an undercooked meal of undercooked chips rare steak not medium well and a truly awful cheese sauce. Lovely hotel although we were given the wrong room number at check in which meant disturbing a fellow guest when we tried to gain access to the room. The problem was quickly rectified however with the hotel throwing in complimentary vouchers for the bar. Breakfast the following day was a little disjointed with no real management. Charlotte on the other hand was exceptional sorting out soya milk and checking back to make sure we were ok. A real asset to the service profession. The executive loung... Read more

Excellent modern hotel in a beautiful parkland setting. Rubbing shoulders with England players in the coffee lounge. The staff were kind and accommodating. Great pool and fitness area. Just ideal for our Midlands visit.

Rooms lovely with a large window overlooking the grounds , main entrance into the hotel was a bit of a walk from the carpark but nice place modern, clean, spacious. Think quite a few people were using the spa facilities as often shared the lifts with people in white towelling robes !

Great staff in a wonderful location, can't wait to have another visit. Set in a stunning park with lots of sporting facilities. We arrived to a great welcome. The room was large and spacious with an extremely contemporary en suite with separate bath and shower. Great lighting that meant you could visit in the night without a main light on. Extremely comfortable beds. Great desk with everything you might need if working. The pool, steam and sauna were brilliant, although the changing rooms... Read more

We stayed in 3 hotels on our trip to the UK and we were looking forward to staying at the 4 star Hilton the most. Unfortunately the hotel didn't live up to our expectations as we feel we were treated as second class citizens- maybe because we were a group booking, maybe because we were families or maybe because we're not rich & famous? Some of the reasons were regarding accomodation, meals and the pool. We were allocated a a room that had 2 singles and trundle bed for a family of 3? we tried to ... Read more

This place is great! Came here to relax and enjoy all the football related things that are around. The pool area is fantastic, great steam room , jacuzzi and foot massager thing. The rooms are good, we did have to change while we were here though, not because the room was shabby but because someone was holding a never ending aerobics marathon next door, I'm all up for keeping fit but all that noise interrupted my pot noodle eating :) We were moved to a new room on the next floor with a nice vi... Stayed here for two nights from the 12th Oct 2016 for a conference. Ordered a basic sandwich from room service only to get a call back 10mins later, saying that I must have the old menu and that what I had ordered was now longer available. The waiter knocked on my door a few mins later with a new menu and said that due to the mix up I can order ANYTHING from the menu for the same price as my previous order. What amazing costumer service .

Decided to visit this hotel due to a number of people recommending it to us - we were so glad we did and it lived up to our expectations. On arrival due to my hilton honours band they couldn't give us an upgrade but did give us access to the exec lounge which was a nice touch. The restaurant was nice and the food was great. The pool and gym were also great. When I am in this location again I would defiantly return.

Got a great weekend deal, after reading the reviews and seeing the photos I was a bit concerned as to why it was such a great deal. No need as the hotel, rooms and everything was just great. I'm guessing that as its a conference hotel, its quiet at weekends so they have these deals on. Plenty of free parking spaces, nice big lobby with friendly check in staff, there are two floors with a lift. We had a compact room with sofa bed, which my 3 year old slept in. The beds were comfy, everything... Read more

This is a huge place oriented on sports in a nice green environment. They must have 4 or more soccer fields and provide to the athletes a very high standard of confort. The restaurant is not necessary too if line but provide a good balance of standard food. Do not expect originality but mostly quality. The team is well trained and does everything to help you. My most trouble was to book as it took 3 times to repeat my Credit card number. For the sport fans, this is high class. For the sofa-sport... Read more

Fantastic hotel, great location and my husband did the St Georges Park Tour which was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They certainly have customer service down to a T. The food was excellent and breakfast was fab. Not a regular Hilton guest but I think after our stay I certainly will use them again. Felt like we were thoroughly spoilt.

What a lovely surprise , we stayed here for 3 nights in an executive room with lounge access. It was lovely , tucked away in the countryside , with all mod cons. great wifi reception , friendly well trained staff at all levels , super views from the room . Typically great breakfasts for choice and quality. The leisure facilities fabulous, massive pool , kept child free at certain times as a bonus. All in all a great break away money well spent for some luxury.

This was the first time I've had the pleasure of staying at a Hilton hotel and would stay at this hotel again in the future. The level of customer service is at the very top and catered for all of our needs to make it a relaxing weekend. It wasn't the cheapest hotel but the gym, spa and pool on site definitely made up for it.

We only stayed one night, and were upgraded to an Executive Room. This provides access to the Executive Lounge, unfortunately this is only open 6-8pm, it would have been nice to use it on arrival rather than just before we were due to head out to a family dinner. Maybe afternoon tea is a better option (3-5pm). The room was large and quiet. The bathroom had a separate shower cubicle. The staff are always friendly here, if you leave something expect a run around with no positive outcome ( the trick is not to leave anything;). Online checkin is the same as checkin on arrival as you still have to que and go through the same process. The food in the bar is mixed, if you order a curry it seems microwaved but if you order pizza it seems fresh. The rooms are nice although don't expect the F1 channel to work. We have selected this hotel based on its Hilton francise, the location in the countryside, executive lounge and 3 hrs drive from London, good for 3 nights family break. If you see my other Hilton reviews we usually travel in the busy school holidays however an upgrade or at least access to a lounge thanks to the Gold membership has not been an issue. Swimming pool is first class and grounds are very interesting to walk round to see all the football facilities. The hotel is a few miles from Burton upon Trent - incredibly peaceful and relaxing with a distinctive modern style that fits with the landscape. Superb

I had stayed in this hotel before, having experienced some issues, I avoided leaving a review through the hotel's survey on tripadvisor, this time I feel I ought to do it and express my thoughts in the open. Originally I had booked the room at the hotel through venere.com [part of expedia], on a rate far lower than the rate at the hilton website.
