After visiting twice last year we booked to come again for my husbands annual staff trip and to meet my Dad. We booked 5 rooms and every room was great, although we booked a double as opposed to the suite we had last year, whilst there's nothing wrong with the double room I've clearly been spoilt previously and want the space the suite offers. There are plenty of break out areas across the hotel to work quietly in if you find the double room too small to work. Everyone was really impressed with... Read more

Was given a Spa break for one night as a present for Xmas and birthday. Check in was quick and the staff were very pleasant on the reception desk our room was ready and we were given the key early. We were told to book our evening meal at the restaraunt and again the staff were very helpful explaining that we have a £25 allowance each towards food as part of our package. We then went to enjoy the pool area for a couple of hours. We again were greeted with enthusiasm by the staff and they explai... Read more

Check in great but room was freezing, informed reception 3 times but nobody sorted it or got back to us about it. We did ask for robes to keep us warm which were then provided. 3 couples in our group. 2 on the bottom floor but the other couple on the top floor. The new years eve party was excellent except the queue for the photographer near the entrance which meant we couldnt get drink or canapés. The food and service was great as were the live band and the atmosphere. We all had a great time... Read more

My daughter was playing hockey at Loughborough, decided to treat myself to relaxing break between her games. On arrival discovered the entire England football squad was staying in the hotel. Had coffee at the in-house Starbucks with some of the players. Beautiful hotel and grounds, lovely pool and excellent breakfast. Staff all very attentive.

Quiet and very comfortable. Food was excellent in all aspects. Great spa complex and gym. If you want a relaxing break in rural surroundings with no hotel corridor noise, you could not go far wrong here.

Came across this nice remote hotel in the middle of England. We didn't realize it was attached to the training ground for the England teams. It had a nice sporty feel to the hotel and we wish we would have had more time to spend there and enjoy some football. The rooms were what you would expect with Hilton and offered a good nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent British style breakfast and the service was solid.

This was my first time at St. Georges. It's a shame that a big American chain have their hotel in England's base but such is globalisation it's hardly surprising. The complex reminded me of a modern version of Lilleshall albeit without the cattle grids and the hotel spans the main section in the middle. The car park was ample despite a few patrons needing parking lessons. On entrance to the hotel reception and foyer it was light and airy with good use of the mezzanine/first floor boasting ... Great staff. Very hardworking and friendly. Hard to tell it was a Xmas party though - no decorations in our part of the restaurant!( Just 2 trees in the other part). meal was average but then again most places experience problems with mass catering. Soup was really tasty but luke warm. Turkey meat was tough and overcooked. Shortcake with mouse were soggy ( assembled too early ? ) Good music played by DJ.
