Breakfast offered a wide selection of items and was pretty good. This property does not offer amenities as in the US; no microwave or refrigerator for guest use. Room was very small. Rollout bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. Maid service was unacceptable. Blanket was pulled over an unmade bed.

I visited here for a 1 night stay with 3 friends. We had a 4 person room (double bed + sofa bed). The room was clean but initially only catered for 2 people-we had to ask for extra bits for 4 people. The sofa bed was quite flat and uncomfortable but staff did provide extra pillows and duvet. Breakfast was ok but low on amenities such as juice, knives and forks. Food wasn't the best quality but it was hot. Staff arranged taxis for us when needed and the hotel is just a short journey to city centr... Read more

Comfy bed, decent sized room, clean and tidy. Tiny window over service area. Very close to St Paul's Metro station. Breakfast was fine - the usual scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon etc. The only downside for me was the noise of the air conditioning which, even when switched off, still made an annoying buzzing sound throughout the night. This was in the older part of the building, on the second floor; it may be better elsewhere in the hotel. Overall, the hotel was good value when compared to ot... Read more

First time that I used this Hampton in Birmingham. Yes it was cheap but parking arrangements are a bit odd, the local area is nothing too special and the breakfast was poor for a Hampton. Would I recommend this place? No. Was the hotel awful, no, but was is good, also no. A missed opportunity

So there were a few things which I didn't like. Breakfast much less than average. No window to open in the room but that poorly got quite common in hotels. Disturbing despite do not disturb sign.... I mean common. Simplest things if they don't work in a hostel okay... but at this level it really should be self evident... at the checkout not even goodmorning... I had to ask whether there is something further more to do to pay or whatever. This makes me not feel like at home or even welcome.

The hotel is easy to get to from the city centre as it's right next to St. Paul's tram stop. My room was clean and had everything I needed, especially a comfortable bed. Although I overlooked the tram stop and train line, the sound insulation was very good and the room overall - on the 4th floor - was very quiet, despite being near the lift. Check-in was rapid thanks to the Hilton app, but nevertheless the reception staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast on offer - there was ce... Read more

Nice hotel, clean and very modern. It's just let down by the food choices in the hotel and the cooked breakfast isn't to great. But good value hotel. Hard to find if your new to the area. Overall good place to stay

We stayed on the 27th January for my partners birthday, we walked from the local train station which took ten mins, the hotel is in a good location for the local pubs in the jewellery quarter area. The hotel itself was clean, modern and well decorated. The room was spacious and had a nice walk in shower with lovely smelling shower gel and body lotions. It was a warm cosy hotel, the only downside was our bed, it was rather firm and squeaky, softer mattresses and less squeak would of made this a p... Read more
