This is a new hotel, and is only a couple of minutes walk from the airport terminal (much of which is under cover). I found the staff friendly and efficient and the hotel spotlessly clean and comfortable. My room on the top floor had a commanding view of the whole airport - not everyone's taste but great if you like watching aircraft! I didn't eat here, but this was partly because I like a decent real ale with my meal and this is on offer in the airport terminal, so I can't comment on the food.

We booked an indulgence package. This included a lovely room. Bottle of sparkling wine with amazing macaroons on arrival. 3 course dinner or £25 each off main menu. Goats cheese starter and beef cheeks main course were so tasty. Washed down with a bottle of house wine. Breakfast following day. All for £100 which worked out to be great value. Staff were so nice with a very cheery gentleman checking us out at 6am. Short walk to the airport. See you again in December.

Brand new hotel so I would expect it to be nice and it was. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and no noise at all. Plenty parking and covered walkway to the airport terminal. However, we were tired and didn't want to go to the restaurant so ordered room service and after waiting for over an hour we called back. Obviously it had been overlooked so we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food and drinks. Bit of a pain but bearable. I would still use this hotel again.

The room was well furnished throughout and extremely comfortable and well equipped. Have used this hotel for a few weeks now. My stay is for business and I am here for 7 days at a time. The hotel rooms are nicely fitted out and seem to be quiet enough. My main gripe is with the quality of the food on offer at breakfast. (I don't normally eat meals here so I can't comment on them). The cooked hot food in my opinion is woefully undercooked and appears to be of very low quality. The bacon is pale and fatty, the sausages look like they've only been introduced to the grill and... I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza several times over the past 3 weeks during business trips, with the most recent being a 2 night stay on 28th and 29th June 2016. The hotel is relatively new so it is very modern in appearance, clean and tidy. On both occasions my hotel rooms have been very nice with all the amenities, and good size bathrooms. This hotel at times has some great deals on rooms - and I got one! Great big room / bathroom and tastefully furnished. I was here on business but would gladly take my wife - it it really nice. Dinner was nice but don't expect to eat on any kind of budget - it's not cheap! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. My only gripe was check out - it was slow and I would have expected more than one person on reception at 8am!

Was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel facilities and location. The rooms were big with nice beds and pleasant colour combination. Nice bathroom with good amenities, lot better than most European hotels I've stayed in. Hotel is ok but parking is shocking. My husband arrived after midnight having been working since 8am and it was pitch black. He parked in what he thought was the hotel car park, so when we received a fine for £100 in the post you can imagine how angry we were. No trouble at checkin-very pleasant lady. Dinner disappointing. Restaurant very quiet for a Saturday evening. Waitress could not grasp that I wanted a chicken burger with cajun sauce from the menu but without the bun so had to settle for fried chicken with a mushroom sauce. Advertise a 5-minute walk through a covered walkway to the terminal. More like ten minutes and only covered part-way. Had early checkout and paid bill easily but, discovering we had left something in the room could not find t... Read more

This hotel was very clean, polite, friendly. It was shame about the parking being so far away and quite expensive as an add on. Overall a nice place to stay and close by to other restaurants and bars.

We booked in at the airport because we didn't need to go into the city at all, and we knew it was a new hotel. The only downside was the £5 per night parking charge. But if we'd stayed in the city centre we might have paid that anyway. Staff were welcoming, helpful and polite (that's a biggie for me!) Room was spacious, comfortable with everything we needed, including a bath robe. It had a view over the airport, and there was airport noise. We had dinner one night and breakfast both mornings... Good welcome and we were upgraded to a club room. Bathroom large and room very clean with all the expected furniture. Unfortunately breakfast was disappointing. We went down at about 9am and as the hotel was not that busy I think the hot items had been out for several hours so were quite rubbery.

The hotel is modern and very nice. Food in the restaurant is very nice as well. Have not had breakfast. It is an easy walk between the hotell and the terminal. Most of the way at a roofed walkway. Takes only 3-5 minutes. Even if the hotel is that close to the airport it is very quiet inside the rooms. A really nice hotel if you need to stay at the airport.

New hotel, very modern and comfortable hotel. Enjoyed one night stay recently, tasty breakfast and super view of the airport. Very comfortable and modern chair in room. The bar and restaurant area are very welcoming and designs are smart.

Stayed here quite regularly for single nights but I had a 2 night stay this time. This is significant only because I had my evening meal here. While the food is good it is outrageously expensive! So much so my company allowance extended to a soft drink and one of their burgers. On top of this there is a service charge added which took me over. I will stay here again as I like the hotel and the breakfast but there is a harvester style pub/restaurant just opened on site for evening meals

I stayed here for one night whilst working in the area and found this hotel to be exactly what I needed. It was very clean and comfy and the breakfast was big and tasty. It helps that it is walking distance to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The overnight stay was fine however the customer service we received from the staff was awful. They were very rude and unhelpful, this ruined the crowne plaza experience for us! We will not be returning!

My husband and I had a mid week break for 3 nights and were delighted with the hotel. When you arrive in the car park the noise from the airport is awful but once inside the hotel you do not hear anything. The bedroom was excellent and the shower was large. Plenty of room to move. Each morning the choice at breakfast was plentiful and the food very good. We have stayed at many Crowne Plaza hotels and this must rank as one of the best.

A very clean well equipped hotel that is ideally located for the airport. Comfortable rooms that are spacious and well equipped. Restaurant offers a good range of food, breakfast is fresh and again a wide selection is available.
