This is a fairly basic experience, meagre tea & coffee supplies, average bed - but worst of all the fan in the ensuite did not work, with an open electrical box hanging open! Location is quite convenient.

I stayed here recently for work for a few days. The hotel is generally nice, with clean rooms. I stayed on the 2nd floor and these rooms were nicer than my previous stay. This hotel is way too far out of the city centre. It was a real pain trekking 30 mins each day to get anywhere. Good if you have a child going to the university, otherwise not worth it. The rooms had very dodgey electricity, you had to play around for ages just to get a light to come on as it seems it's all wired up in a weird way. The rooms were unbearably hot, so much so you get no sleep. No air con or heating, no working fan in the bathroom. Mildew and damp in the bathroom, and very lax facil... Read more

It was a carvery and starters looked very good. I had some home made soup which was delicious and went on for some salad, there were chicken wings in a bbq sauce mushrooms in batter salad with bacon and parmesan cheese, lots of chicken in different sauces and my favourite prawns with seafood sauce. There... Read more
