I don't normally leave reviews but I have to for this hotel. It was a couple of weeks ago now when I found myself in an absolute nightmare of a situation. Basically, I had missed my flight and was at the Belfast Bus Station wondering what to do. This was at about 10pm at night and so I went to the Travelodge to see if they had any rooms at all because it is very nearby. The idiot that I am had also lost my bank card. When I got there I asked for a room but said I don't have any way of paying oth... Read more

Hotel was perfectly fine, but our room had a smell of smoking! Receptionist very helpful and we were immediately allocated another room. This one overlooked the main street, so was noisy at night, as is opposite a very nice bar. Be aware of these things when booking.

Don't bother!! Location ok everything else down hill from there! Double room only one plug in the whole room!! Now surely most people have a phone each that needs charging overnight?? In serious need of a make over!!! On the third floor boiling hot even tho radiator isn't on! Very disappointed to say the least!! Wouldn't be so bothered if it was actually cheap!

Stayed in a room on the third floor; the room was so hot that it was almost impossible to sleep. The window (see attached photo) only opened very slightly so there was no means of cooling the room down, no air con either. I had the most uncomfortable night's sleep I have ever experienced at a hotel - even budget hostels I have stayed at in the past were better. To make matters worse at about 4am there was a group of screaming and giggling girls running up and down the corridor outside our room... Read more

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was really rather good. Unfortunately these are the only good points. The room was small, with a small desk, plastic chair and a small open wardrobe. All the furniture has seen better days. There is a small wall-mounted TV and a kettle. The carpet was in awful condition with ground-in dirt. I spoke to someone else who was staying at the hotel, asking them what they thought of it - and their first comment was on the state of their car... Read more

great location at affordable price. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance of hotel. Fibber Magee's and Robinson's , Crown Bar and other music venues within 2 minutes walk. Reception staff were helpful and well informed about events going on tin the city that week end. Would definetly use this hotel again.

Couldn't of asked for a more central hotel, ideal for everything you want to do in Belfast. Basic room but clean and comfortable with everything you needed. Staff were all really nice, helpful and friendly. Weatherspoons just around the corner for a good breakfast to start the day. Lots of good local pubs and restaurants all around the hotel location. Great Location, quiet, comfortable room. Great value. We found the hotel from agoda and wasn't exactly sure about the location and how it would work for us. Turned out that it is within walking distance of all you need to see there in Belfast. Shopping, tours and entertainment.

I had quite a comfortable stay here. The hotel is in a perfect location for seeing as much of Belfast as possible within walking distance. It's also across the street from a Michelin star restaurant, Love Fish and Meat Locker (both excellent) and a really terrific cocktail bar! If you come by central station you can catch a big pink bus into town which almost drops you to the hotel. It's also 200m from the Europa bus terminal. The staff were very friendly, easily available and lovely to talk t... Read more

Always stay here if im going out in Belfast or meeting friends. Cheap, clean, not noisy and central. Exactly what it says on the tin. Also there is security on the door at night which is handy in a cheap city centre hotel.

Not sure how to start this review the hotel it's self is ok standard travelodge the problem is if your room is at the rear of the hotel from 04.30 to 06.30 you are kept awake by a constant noise of shops having deliverys bins been emptied beeping of tucks The other problem is no parking And on a Saturday night they have security on the door ok fair enough it's for your safety as a guest but a bit of politeness from them would be nice after all i'am a paying guests ū???ū???ū???

It was affordable and bang right in the city centre. Easy to get to from motorway and plenty of 24hr parking options in the area. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a hotel close to everything in belfast city, yet are not looking for an expensive stay.

One and only plus for this hotel is location. Walking distance for all central locations. Don't let the adds fool you this place is not up to standard, although they were putting together beds in other rooms from 8am..... Basic room, duvet cover made inside out. Wifi did not work in room. Noise all evening and night with doors banging. Never again, Raddisson blue much better value and better quality rooms.

Carpet in room was very tired although bathroom and bed seemed to have been updated. Room as very hot with windows shut and although I was given a fan the positioning of the power sockets meant the fan had no relevance. I was also woken at 5.00 - 5.30 with a noisy delivery next door so all in all not a restful 2 nights sleep

Helpful and friendly staff , well located for the city centre sights. Most of room quite tired and basic, but clean and comfortable. About 20 mins in a cab from the stena ferry terminal and 15 mins from the city airport. There is a Telephone in reception to call your own taxi, never waited more than about 5 minutes. Lots of pubs and bars nearby. Good value.

Would recommend for service and location. Dont worry about eating here there are plenty of places nearby. A cheap alternative if coming into great victoria street station by train or glengall street by bus. Made feel very welcome by Ashling and Stewart on reception and enjoyed a very comfortable room despite the work going on across the street.

As soon as our daughter knew her graduation date, we booked the hotel: that was in March. Two rooms were duly booked. What could go wrong? We arrived and were given the key to one room. The key to the other room could not be found! After hunting around for some 30 minutes, it was discovered that the room was being decorated, the decorators could not be found and the staff were unsure of the condition of the room! Central means central. Just around the bus terminal corner. Their serviced breakfast was a good relief from the usual buffet scene. Same restaurant becomes a lovely dine in place with plenty of vegetarian options. I only wish it was a little cheaper.

Excellent hotel. Dog friendly, really friendly and helpful staff. The reason for 4 stars is the rooms are way too hot. Window open with restricting wire, radiator off, and the room was roasting- it was only 15 degrees outside. We called reception to ask for a fan which was brought up within 5 minutes. This made it bearable to sleep. I would definitely stay here again, but not during the summer.
