The reception was great. Room was new and well designed. Breakfast was very very good especially as included in the stay. Very easy to walk into the city, about 15 mins. It is close to the university and the Botanic gardens . A great place to go when the weather is good.Plenty of places to eat nearby. It takes about 15 mins to walk from the bus station to the hotel.

Spent 2 nights here on a family weekend away, reasonable hotel, rooms were nice and clean, buffet breakfast which was included in the price was good with a variety of options to cater for all taste. They have a secure car park to the rear of the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful although there can be a bit of a delay at the bar as it's connected to the reception - good Guinness.

Stayed here for two nights (Fri & Sat) last weekend with my boyfriend and another couple. Hotel is modern & clean on a quiet street, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms are a good size and again, modern & clean. Good size secure car park, provided free for guests. Only minor negative would be the noise which travels between rooms, which was fairly noticeable compared with other places I've stayed, although we were so tired from our sightseeing both days we fell straight asle... Used to stay here many years ago and on my return to Belfast decided that this was ideal. The service was so so, the place didn't have the wow factor I remembered and the rooms seemed tired. Worst of all I remember that showers used to be so powerful that they almost hurt, this time quite weak flow. What a shame I was so looking forward to my return, although the breakfast has improved !

Overall, it was our least favorite place of our stay in Ireland and Northern Ireland. It was ok for two nights, but.... On check-in, we were clearly tourists, but we have been giving the envelope with the room key, and that is it. No maps, no informations. Ok.... That was not a warm welcome. The room was clean, but there was lot of stains on the carpet (coffee? Red wine?). A shame was it was pretty. The bed were comfortable. But... are the wall made in cardboard? The best thing about this hotel is you are never disappointed with what you get. Rooms are always spotless, staff are always friendly and efficient, and you always get good value for money. Yes, at peak times breakfast will be extremely busy, every table will be occupied and some of the food items will temporarily run out. Room was clean and affordable, Conference facilities there are marred by poor technical equipment and very poor wifi. I was on the third floor and woken up at 5am by people boiling kettles and having showers, basic plumbing noise. Not good because I was there on business so needed to be fresh the next day. Bed was awful, the springs were coming through. When I checked out, they didn't even ask if my stay was comfortable. Small courtesies were missed by the desk. Oddly a bunch of Romanian kids r... Stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and we would definitely go back. Staff very attentive. All girls on reception were fantastic and nothing was too much bother. We arrived a good 5 hours before we were due to check in and of course understood that the room wasn't ready, however the girl let us leave our heavy bags locked in a cupboard whilst we went for a walk. We got back and sat in the foyer and the girl came over as soon as she had a room ready for us, which was still a few hours early.... Read more

We stayed here Friday night, it wasn't so bad that you wouldn't stay here but it wasn't great either. There was a football team staying here and they're runners were all left outside their room doors. So was quite smelly. Staff are friendly. Facilities are fine. Car park is in great location really near door to hotel. Central location. 1 of the rooms was a wheelchair accessible room and the bathroom could do with being updating. A lot of stains on carpet marks on walls etc

This was a nice hotel. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and a decent size. There were lots of restaurants about a 15 minute walk. I felt safe walking there in the evening. We did eat in the hotel restaurant. Food was good and reasonably priced.

We stayed her for 4 nights to attend my father's memorial service. The room was spotlessly clean and all the staff very friendly. The room was spacious and the lounge was also large and had good seating to relax and have a drink in. Car parking was secure and had plenty of space. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. No need for a car at night.

Everyone at Holiday Inn Express is very helpful. The hotel manager and the staff are fantastic and very accommodating. Rooms always cleaned and prepared for training sessions. Even if there is a problem, the customer care is so good, they will always try and sort it out. Very happy that we have built such good relationship with Holiday Inn Express.

Stayed for 3 nights as a couple as part of our trip to visit some sights around NI. We were attracted to hotel by the price, location (university quarter), free secure parking and free breakfast. The hotel was functional for our purpose but probably needed a a bit of modernisation here and there. The rooms are ok, there is a small bar and restaurant and breakfast was good quality and plentiful - what more could you want for as you should be out all day.!! There are bars, eateries and shops clos... Read more

We are yet another victim of the double room issue! We booked a double room and received an email clearly stating that this was the case. We booked 6 months in advance and had been looking forward to our stay for a long time. When we arrived at our room we found a twin room which, as a couple, was not ideal. Had the room been at a low price we wouldn't have been so upset but as we had paid over £70 per night we felt we needed to contact reception. We phoned from our room and rece... Read more

After a very busy day of sightseers no in Belfast, a very good place to settle down for the night. An I house restaurant which has good food. They also clued breakfast in the price but get there early as seemed every body and his brother was there for breakfast the morning we were there. And the morning food was scarce and wasn't really that good.

Arrived here on a Wednesday evening late but the check in was very quick and efficient. My room was of a large size and was lovely and clean and lovely and warm. The bed was really comfortable and i enjoyed a good 6 hour sleep which is normally not like me as i struggle to sleep in a hotel bed. The hallway was quiet and the windows kept out the street noise. Breakfast was the standard usual affair of cooked and continental and selection was good. The hotel didnt appear to be right in the city... Read more
