Stayed for just one night while visiting relatives. The accommodation was good, hotel quiet, temperature good and bed very comfortable. Good breakfast. Plenty of free car parking and there is a BP filling station next door.

I booked late afternoon for the night after checking out competitor's prices. Not only was this the cheapest option for the time of day, but breakfast was included too, a real bargain! Staff friendly, helpful and efficient, the room was spotless and comfortable. Due to my late arrival I decided to eat at the Hotel, unfortunately the menu was very limited and nothing to shout about, but it was late and I was tired so ate a very mediocre offering. Breakfast was reasonable with the usual Holiday... Read more

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Good check Inn, very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Clean room. Could not fault anything. We stayed as part of a trip to the Stewartby club, about three miles away. A taxi from the hotel cost ten pounds

Right on the A421/A6 junction so really easy to get to and find. Very comfortable bar, great breakfast (considering it's an Express hotel) and very attentive staff. The rooms are a standard Holiday Inn Express room and are very clean, comfortable and have all you need for a business overnight stay. Great value !

I must admit I was surprised that this was as nice as it was for the price. Not a luxurious hotel but very clean, very comfortable and everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bed was very comfy and there was a large tv and a good sized shower room. Breakfast was filling and had everything I wanted though not a large choice. My only complaint was the lack of any sort of pudding at at lunch time, not even an icecream, though as they pointed out their were chocolate bar... Read more

It was real value for money. I will definitely recommend and definitely go back there. I had a choice of 2 hotels. One was more expensive, no wifi and no breakfast. The other was Holiday Inn with free wifi and breakfast. It was a no-brainer

I give it 20 out of 5 everything amazing. Nothing bad to mention, I'll definitely will be coming back to stay here. Excelent hotel and staff. The facility's are spot on close to near main roads plenty silence although it's near location to a main dual carriage way even close to a train line and you only notice that wen you see a train passing by and you barely ear it. Definitely worth to keep coming back. *********** amazing in every aspect.

Location just 5-10 mins drive from Bedford Town Centre. Next to the dual carriageway with the M1 & A1 just a few mins away in either direction. You go past a BP garage to get to the hotel which is on the same bit of land. Plenty of parking on site. Very friendly & helpful staff. Was checked in quickly & being an IHG Spire Elite Ambassador was given the option of a drink or points. Basic facilities but all worked & very clean. Ideal for an over night stays or weekend stays. The fact it is close t... Read more

Visiting the Bedford area and stayed in this hotel brand. Pretty much as expected, minimal service, cheap and cheerful. Better than a Travel Lodge. Breakfast included which was so so. In all good value for money at the bargain basement level price band. Negatives.... Railway line at the side of the hotel was noisy with train from early morning until about 11pm. Staff smoking beneath our window which we open as it was warm inside the room. Rooms do have air con however but we like proper fresh ai... Read more

Everything was as expected of a Holiday Inn Express, although I thought the dinner menu was a little expensive. Also, we were in a room that had an adjoining door, which I thought wouldn??t matter as it was just for one night but I could hear every word said on the TV from the room next door. The staff were most helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Staff attitude has improved greatly and cleanliness is also much better. A convenient place to stay. Have used it for years. Very tidy and well presented. We will keep coming back. Handy for Bedford Luton and easy to west travel and cheaper than Milton Keynes

Convenient location, good parking, friendly staff, quiet, clean, free & decent WiFi. You get a limited menu (as with nearly all HI Express), but it was nicely cooked; breakfast choice is a bit limited, but a step up from purely continental (although that's all I ever have anyway).

Stayed here for 1 night with 3 other couples whilst visiting a friends restaurant locally. Easy to book online, good location for what we wanted and good value. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, room was small, basic but quiet (overlooked car park) functional and clean. Nice white large fluffy towels and crisp bed linen. Breakfast was adequate with a reasonable selection for the price paid. Was fine for what we wanted and would stay here again if in the area.

I am a regular user of IHG hotels across the country for business purposes. I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, it was clean and well presented as expected of the express group. The staff were very friendly and the evening food was excellent, normally with these chains it's difficult to find anything different on the menu but I must say the choice was very good and the quality was the best I have had. I will certainly be returning.......

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Bedford with family on Fri 15th and Sat 16th July. We had 3 rooms and each room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning that was refreshing in the warm weather. Very close to a garage with a M&S, which is useful, as well as having a bar and serving meals for most of the day (with breakfast included in the room price) and free WiFi. Best thing about our stay was the staff. In particular an extremely helpful lady called Nataleen, who anticipated anythi... Read more

Me and my partner have stayed here several times and we love it! The staff are very friendly, the food is good worth getting out of bed for the breakfast. Would highly recommend. Not very far from Milton Keynes. Rooms are always clean and beds very comfortable. Will be going again soon I'm sure.

I was given a room downstairs and not that far from reception - normally a no for me due to noise but this was fine. Room was quiet. Believe they are carrying out some refurbishment to the hotel - my room must have been done as it was very fresh and everything worked fine. Didn't affect my stay at all - only aware of the workmen arriving when I was leaving in the morning (Wasn't early - about 0845hrs). Fairly hot at the time but the air con in the room worked brilliantly. Actually got too cold... Read more

I stayed here for one night with my family while visiting Woburn Safari Park which was about a 15 minute drive away. We had a family room which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The entire Hotel was absolutely spotless and we were very impressed with the cleanliness throughout. The staff couldn't be more helpful and were incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating. There is a train line nearby but with the window closed we didn't hear a thing and the room was kept cool by the fabulous a... Read more

having stayed at the Holiday Inn's across the UK for the last three years it was nice to check into an Express that has been refurbished the double rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfortable you do not want to get up in the morning. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is a well stocked bar but alas I am yet to eat at the hotel so I cant comment on the food. Easy access to Milton Keynes and Bedford and the BP next door has an M&S Food court so you wont go hungry.

Excellent budget hotel with well appointed public areas. Room very clean with very comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, hair dryer and iron/board available. Lovely bathroom with 3-sided mirror, good for doing make-up. Blue night light too. Buffet breakfast. Simple, but great that you can microwave your porridge to your own taste (ie no milk). Good that there is a dinner menu (albeit limited) but you can order in food to eat in what is a good dining area. Staff were very, very welcoming; fri... Read more

Value for money: 4* Comfort: 5* Breakfast: 4* Decor/Room facilities: 5* High class feel to place, corporately decorated but sleek. Staff friendly and of smart appearance. PROS: 1. Air Conditioning (a amazing feature much needed in heat and a welcomed luxury that all hotels need to take note of!) 2. 32" TV (something that seems rare to find in a hotel again, other hotels take note!) 3. Good Free Breakfast (atleast with my stay breakfast was included in price it consisted of cereals, fruits, bre... Read more

Easy to find as on the main route into Bedford. A little out of town though, if you planned on going wandering in the evening. Clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and air con. The aircon was a little noisy and prevented me from sleeping. I opened the window as was woken up around 4am as the trains started, as the room I had overlooked a railway line. If I go back I will ask for a car park view instead. All in all though a good hotel.

Stayed here for one night. Nothing around it except a petrol station so if you are going into town you need a taxi. The room was clean and everything worked, the service was ok. Probably the worst breakfast I have ever had in a budget hotel....scrambled egg, sausage and beans....that was your hot food. I'll stick to Premier Inn in the future.

I stayed here on business as I couldn't get in anywhere else, room quality was excellent, breakfast was good, though they ran out of fruit when I was there. Real problem is that it is not in easy access of anywhere to eat, 2.5 miles into Bedford. The restaurant is marginal, with ,microwaved food.

I stop in quite a few HIE especially in Milton Keynes but Bedford was a first. The positives- staff were very good, hotel felt quite new, room was great, some bottled water would be nice but otherwise all good. Negatives- your in the middle of nowhere at a service station with just a BP petrol station for company. Food is a choice of 8 pizza's and breakfast lacked any imagination with a few sad sausage and scrambled egg for those brave enough to try, no nice bacon like in Milton Keynes and if ... Read more
