We stayed at Dukes for three nights. It is a fabulous place to stay. Beautifully decorated, quiet, lovely food and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back- ideally situated for the centre of Bath. Free parking is a bonus!

A great place to stay when visiting Bath. It is a beautiful Hotel very close to the centre of the city. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully appointed and we would be happy to recommend it to any one.

Fabulous old building with loads of charm but the service is bang up to date. If you need anything from where to go for lunch, shopping or entertainment, advice is on hand. And a brandy nightcap to boot. Brilliant

If you are looking to experience the delights of bath and also want to stay in old world style you can't go wrong with dukes hotel. I spent a lot of time looking for the right style of hotel for a planned weekend break and this hotel ticked all the boxes. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre in a picturesque street, we stayed in a superior double which includes a king size bed and separate sitting room on the ground floor. Staff on arrival where very friendly and free parking per... Read more

Found Dukes through Trip Advisor for a few days break before Christmas. A very convenient find as the City centre is only a short walk away as is a good selection of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect to find in an Edwardian House. The staff were extremely accommodating and could not do enough to help you.If we decided to visit Bath again we would certainly stay here. Many Thanks and all the best for 2017.

Lovely stay at this very special place - excellent location, exquisitely clean and professional service throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning. Should anyone wish to visit Bath this is a must!

I had first stayed at the Dukes Hotel 15 years ago. I remember it being well priced and decent enough, without being overbearing or fussy. I am happy to say, if it still that. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it isn't trying to be. The Rooms are adequate, the food very much above average, and the service was very good. Attentive when necessary and a homely feel. Very good value for money indeed!

Beautiful small Roman style town with a lot of sightseeing attractions. Quiet place with calm and very friendly people. The Dukes Hotel is much more than a 3 star hotel. Porter service on arrival, tea and coffee in the room, lovely and very helpful staff. Whilst having breakfast the manager/owner came with a very friendly approach to enquire about everyone's stay and had a few minutes chat with every single person sitting in the restaurant. That made us feel at home and that people here really c... Read more

From the moment we stepped into Dukes, we were cared for and welcomed, in a non intrusive way. There were a million kind and generous things, like a temp. parking permit, fresh Madlines for breakfast, a friendly 'goodnight', a small morning chat at the breakfast tabel, a few chocolates in a bag for our journey homewards. The building is an old Georgian building, small enough to feel at home and large enough to give you a 'hotel-feeling'. The colours are warm and the paintings are real. If we did... Read more
