Stayed here the 19th May for 1 night before we flew out of Manchester airport the following morning. The rooms were clean and well presented and the reception staff were extremely friendly. For what we paid we have nothing to moan about. Great place to stay and some lovely pubs and restaurants around the hotel. Would definitely book again!

Stayed here last weekend (Friday to Monday) as a base for sightseeing in Manchester. The hotel was ideal and economically priced. The room was of a nice size - plenty of space to manoeuvre my wheelchair about and into the bathroom (we deliberately did not book a wheelchair-accessible room - this was a standard room). The room was well equipped with complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The food in the hotel was of a high quality and the staff all very friendly. The hotel als... Read more

Used this hotel for park and stay while on holiday in America, it's not cut off, near to pubs, restaurants, and shops, you arrive and park your car, check in and that's it, your car is not moved during your holiday as you keep your keys. Hotel is clean and quiet, the room was adequate for the night. Didn't eat at the hotel, used the pub and the chippy nearby. Taxi transfers are included in the price, both went without a hitch, it's about 15 mins to the airport. I would recommend this hotel for p... Read more

We stayed here on a Saturday night whilst up North for a family celebtration. It was £60, room only, good value. The room had everything we needed, iron, hairdryer, tea making facilities. The reception provided a map to explore Altringham and we found a good local Sunday market.

Booked to stay here prior to flying out from Manchester airport the next morning. Hotel easy enough to find with a massive free car park so no problems parking, even though we arrived fairly late (10.30pm). As we arrived late, we didn't get the chance to eat but did sample a couple of pre holiday drinks in the bar which was clean, busy and not overpriced like most hotels! The room was compact but more than adequate for a one night stay. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and we both had a decent ... Read more

we took advantage of this hotel as part of a stay and park deal ahead of an early flight from Manchester. The hotel, knowing this, placed us in the first room of a long corridor by the lifts. For our very short night there, we had to endure the noise of other guests traipsing past our door to their rooms and back. The beds were the worst we have ever slept in, very hard with lumpy pillows. The handle and lock looked like they had been wrenched open a few times and the door did not lock prope... Read more

Check in is swift and easy and car parking is plentiful. I guess this can get full when they have weddings on etc but the purpose of my visit brought me here on a weekday, where you have idiots in suits filling up the hotel pretending to be important on the phone in the lobby. The room is OK, it tries but it should try harder to be minimalistic. There is no A/C in the room and I'm here melting in 25'c heat. Luckily high school physics kicks in and I've filled the bath full of cold water to try ... Read more

Would not book to stay here again! Stayed for one night prior to travelling on our holiday just to take advantage of the 15 night car-parking. Once our two suitcases the were put into the room we couldn't move. "Small rooms" is an understatement. Upon arrival the reception looked clean and tidy and in general the type of entrance you would accept from a 3 star hotel. when we entered the room I could not believe how small the room was not to mention the bathroom was nothing more than a joke. what makes me angry is the fact that this room is described on holiday extras as large, modern and spacious. We've chose this hotel because it was close to where we needed to be in the morning and booked an executive room for 2 nights. What can I say... the room is spacious and clean however the ceiling had signs of infiltration of water which was just covered with some white paint... Kinda cold as the windows were not properly closing either. You would expect to see a very clean and tidy room when you check-in into an executive room.

Good location for a business trip. Good rooms and reasonably quiet, ensuring a good nights sleep. As a light sleeper, noise can often be an issue. I was lucky with my allocated room and slept well. Nice room, clean and tidy. Executive suite ordered, lots of room. Tassimo machine in room and decent TV. Jacuzzi bath didn't work sadly but overall OK. Would benefit from a minor refit and tidy and felt a little tatty in places. Plenty of off road parking and 30 mins away from the city this is a good hotel for people who want to stay close but not in the city for a decent rate. Road runs right next to hotel but isn't exactly noisy.

This is a great place is you want a good value place to party with your mates. If you want a restful night during a weekend stay maybe best to go elsewhere. Good location & free car park; quick walking access to Altrincham centre where there is a decent selection of pubs & restaurants. The receptionist, from Dunoon, was really cool - but my room, whilst functional, was rather dated (a bit like staying at your grandparents' house) & noisy as it was above the kitchen. I work in the industry and if this was how my staff treated guests who pay their wages then they would be replaced. Room was small but sufficient for what we needed and clean so housekeepers are getting it right. Night porter always had a smile on his face and acknowledged our presence.

Stayed 1 night. Room very basic. Food quite expensive so went out to eat. Breakfast was excellent & staff were really pleasant . Would stay again but rooms I'm sure could do with an upgrade. About 15 mins drive from Airport.

We stayed here for one night whilst attending a family wedding. The organisation that the hotel provided for the wedding was excellent and the staff were on all accounts very professional on all aspects. The hotel itself has many of the business class facilities you would expect. It doesn't portray itself as a luxury hotel but there are aspects that suggests that it strives to achieve high standards. The venue rooms and bar areas have a nice ambiance about them. There is clearly a long history ... Read more

Best hotel . No need to rush to any Manchester airport hotels. Personal service. Good restaurants in Altrincham. Award winning eating places. Very friendly hotel. Clean. Reception excellent. Very good bar staff.

Stayed here as part of an APH airport parking deal prior to an early-ish flight to Munich. Total charge was very reasonable so we weren't expecting much but the hotel is well situated for our needs. The room was a bit small and smelled a little musty, but it was clean and comfortable with a reasonably sized bed. Biggest disappointment was a total lack of a single vegetarian main dish in the posh restaurant which meant we had to drive somewhere else - bit of a nuisance and pretty outrageous th... Read more

A great family room which allows a family of 4 or more (including teenage children often considered adults) to stay together in the same accommodation without costing the earth. Don't be put off by dated decor in the rooms - the things that matter are very good. Highly recommend.

The entrance to the hotel is beautifully new and renovated... which is incredibly misleading when you see the old fashioned, out dated, un-refurbished rooms. My room was cramped and small, the bathroom was no different. It was also an awful yellow colour which also looks like old and dingy. The shower was a nightmare to get working and the water sprayed all over the place. The tv was absoloutly tiny and was so old the buttons on the remote didn't work right. The bed and the room itself was clean... Read more

I was attending a course at the hotel and nearby business over 2 days so I stayed over on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. The hotel looks a bit 1960's from the outside but it soon changes when you enter. I had been upgraded to an executive room which had robe and slippers, posh coffee pod machine, upgraded toiletries and a big room with sofa. The bathroom could have done with the tiles being cleaned a bit round the bath and the shower wasn't the most powerful. The bed was very comfy although ... Read more

We have just recently had our wedding reception here in the new Allen Suite on our return from being married in Cyprus. Everything was great, room well decorated and looked after, Prosecco reception & food all spot on and all coordinated well on the night. Can't grumble about the free Bridal Suite we were given which was huge and very nicely decorated/looked after. Manager looked after our wedding post box as we forgot it and left it in the suite so thanks for that. Breakfast was the usual h... Read more

My husband and I stayed here overnight as we had an early flight the following morning. The room was fine but my only grumble was hard pillows. The package included a car park stay which was only 4 miles away and very easy to find. We didnt eat at the restaurant so I cannot comment on that, although it looked fine from what I saw. I would definitely use this hotel again as it was very convenient for the airport and very reasonable price.

The hotel was nothing special but served it's purpose. My wife and I stayed here on Friday 21st October to avoid having to get up at 3.30am to travel to the airport from home. The hotel is very convenient for the airport and only a 10 minute drive away. I booked the hotel through Holiday Extras. It cost me £136.90 for an overnight stay, 15 days car parking at the T1 & T3 long stay car park at the airport, security fast track and a two course dinner for two. The meal wasn't half bad and I shoul... Read more

Arrived at the hotel to find an ample car park with plenty of space. Check in was of good standard with a friendly employee asking how was my day and if i needed any further assistance going to my room. Overall Check in was 7/10 Room was on the 3rd floor, modern enough, although could do with a little revamp to stay with rival competitors. Big comfy bed, good size tv and bathroom could do with an upgrade. Only downfall to the room was the shower was dismal and had no power. Overall bedro... Read more

My wife and I stay have stayed here regularly over the past few years. It used be be very good but then it was taken over. Gradually, the staff started to change and, over time become less efficient. Once, we are looked after extremely well in the restaurant, the food was hot, and served with a friendly smile. Those staff have gone and the last time we ate, our waiter left us an hour before serving our meal. Half the time he was nowhere to be seen. The food was mediocre when it finally arrived. ... Wasn't too good. The walls in this hotel are paper thin and you can hear every sound - and I mean "every sound" from the rooms next to you, including above and below! So if you want privacy, then I wouldn't stay here. But if you're ok with listening to your neighbour performing his/her toilet duties, or talking to their loved one on the phone, then it won't be a problem for you. Out of 5 nights here, my sleep was severely disturbed on 3 of them. The restaurant is very good, both for breakfast ... Read more

Greeted by friendly staff. Room was comfortable and had everything you need, but it was a little on the small sized and felt cramped when the two of us were trying to get washed and dressed. The bathroom was a little dated and had mildew on tile grout and in shower head. Bar area was well presented, although there was a boxing presentation on which meant service was slow and there were some loud guests. Good location, in walking distance from the metro. Overall not bad.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times the night before an early flight and I would recommend it, it is clean, and comfortable and the staff are friendly, the food is good. Rooms a little small but not a real problem, bathroom very clean, nice white towels. We will definitely book again.

We stayed for one night on 26th November after a family party. Our parents booked 2 rooms on our behalf and both were clean and comfortable. Free WIFI worked well. Bed was comfortable, with good quality linen and towels. Great breakfast. Excellent value for money. A little noisy in the early hours due to holiday makers leaving for early flights. Would have given 5, however, there was an issue with payment. Our rooms had already been paid for in advance on 21st Nov by our parents. However, the r... Read more
