Stayed here on a trip up to visit our daughter who is at Uni , fantastic value , we paid £40 for room with a great free breakfast . Absolute bargain . Hotel a £9 taxi ride outside city centre takes 5 minutes. Perfect for the Exhibition Centre which is right next door . Friendly staff and check in was fast and easy , even got into our room early ( thanks) Would not hesitate in recommending hotel to others .

Were here for a 3 night stay and we had a very nice room at the top of the building overlooking the north sea. It was great to see the ships come in and out. Also have to say that the rooms were really clean. The breakfast was more then enough to choose from and there was plenty of seats. The staff was friendly . It is a great way of exploring Aberdeen. The bus towards the city centre stops at the doorstep. Would stay here again for sure

This was the 2nd holiday inn express we stayed up and whilst similar layout much better than the one in Dunstable. The room was nice spacious and clean, a comfortable bed and quiet. The included breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 6 miles from the centre of town but there is a park and ride bus station right opposite so very convienent.

A visit to the theatre so booked Saturday night at the hotel and asked for a room on an upper floor looking out over the golf course and coastline as it is quieter that side of the building. Having stayed here before and as expected the room was clean, tidy and all furnishings in good condition. Nice comfy bed.Tea and coffee making facilities supplied. Basic toiletries available. The large wall mounted TV screen a new addition since our last visit. The breakfast buffet was very good, plenty choi... Read more

Stayed here overnight as I had an exhibition to attend the next day. I chose this hotel over the holiday inn next door which is actually right beside the front entrance of the conference centre. That wasn't a big deal as the express seems to have more parking! Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a bar/restaurant and so had to walk to the holiday inn for dinner. Food was fantastic. I had Mac and cheese which was delicious. Breakfast is serv... Stopped on a Sunday night. Hotel is located at the exhibition center on the outskirts of Aberdeen. Parking is free. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast offers a selection of cold and hot items which are served "buffet" style. Car access to Aberdeen is easy. If you want to use public transport then a bus service operates during the day time (Monday - Saturday) from the adjacent park and drive. Outside of these hours buses travel along Ellon road wh... I would certainly stay at this hotel again - and any of the other Express if they are like this one! Our room was clean - comfortable and quiet. The staff was fantastic!!!! Very friendly and helpful. We could enjoy the water front view from our room and lots of small streets to enjoy a stroll. Our breakfast was great with a nice selection to get us started on our day. On check out they wanted to help with any other reservations or assistance on the rest of our trip! A+ place!

Stayed here for 5 nights when in Aberdeen on business travel. Room was spacious and very clean with a nice television. Basic amenities but very sufficient at the price. Windows don't open which is a real bugbear of mine but not uncommon these days. All staff very friendly and helpful. Had a few drinks at the bar which was reasonably priced, only bar snacks available as opposed to proper meals but they were ok. If you want an actual sit down meal you need to go round the back to the Holiday Inn w... Read more

Well located hotel with good views over the sea. It's good that it is not in the city centre. Check in was very smooth as I had prepaid online-very efficient staff. Room was perfect for my needs-a long weekend trip to Aberdeen. The complimentary breakfast was good-plenty of choice of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, pastries and toast. This is what I classify as a stop and go hotel. What ever you do, should you stay here, do not expect to do anything but stay at the hotel and frequent the bar. There is nothing around in this area to liven anything up. However the hotel is clean and functional, with helpful staff. One big thing in my book is that having arrived late I was unable to get a meal in the hotel, even a bar meal. I was actually directed to go to the sister hotel next door the Holiday Inn. This I fined totally unac... Read more

Clean and quiet rooms, comfortable bed and everything that you require for a short stay. Limited range of drinks in the small bar and limited range of foods at the breyakfast bar, but the breakfast foods were good quality and there is no restrictions on multiple visits to refill. Nice sausages, bacon, only scrambled eggs and no mushrooms or tomatoes and it was the second day before I found the beans. However, what they had was good and filling and regularly topped up with fresh produce. Friendly... Read more

Handy for the Exhibition Centre, this Holiday Inn Express is clean, tidy and modern. Plenty of free parking and the ladies on reception were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Standard budget hotel breakfast but there was plenty of it and it was hot. The only thing that let it down was the shortage of hot water in the bathroom. While the water was warm, I ran the shower at full heat for some time and didn't get properly hot water. Likewise when I came to shave in the morning. Otherwise, this ... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights and why not for £36 per night for 3 of us including breakfast which is ample and suitable for anyones Needs. Aberdeen is now a cheaper place to stay than Inverness now a days due to the downturn in the oil so some bargains to be had in Aberdeen. The rooms are small but do the job for all the time you are in them if your out and about. Friendly staff and a nice clean room.

Stayed in a few Holiday Inn Express in my time and the is a decent one. The staff are helpful and polite and the breakfast is decent ( for a change) I only stayed for one night and the cost was very reasonable for Aberdeen. Its a fair bit out from the city centre but there is a city shuttle bus just down from the main holiday express.

This is generally a good standard hotel - clean, well maintained, comfortable bed and quiet at night. My only complaint is that the bathroom door has an odd design where on swinging open, the other side then slams shut into a second door frame located behind the door. I sustained a very painful injury from trapping my finger in the second door frame as I opened the door. I told the receptionist, who informed me that 'other guests have complained of this too'. I also see that the same problem has... Read more

Sausages, scrambled eggs , bread for toast, rolls, yogurts, cheeese, jam, 4 types of cereal, verious teas and a coffee machine that makes a lovely cappuccino which I loved to start the day. It was the most horrible experience in years, dirty cups, plates , in one word disgusting! we decided to leave without having any although we paid for it, but our health is priority, staff could not say the same thing. Stayed here for a weekend, rooms are larger than usual, with a sofa, and comfy beds. The bar is pleasant, well stocked, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. There is free wifi all over the hotel, and a computer in the lobby as well. The breakfast is very good, but the queues can be excessive. They do have gluten-free toast, but no other GF products. Parking is plentiful and free, and lifts serve all floors. Great value and very modern, comfy and clean. recommended.

Visited in the summer time and managed to get a great price for a family room. When we realised the bed was too high for our wee daughter, the staff found us a cot bed with no hassle at all which we were so grateful for. Room was spotlessly clean and spacious, breakfast was included and was buffet style and lovely, even for us vegetarians! Only a short drive from the beach and not far from the city centre, it was lovely and quiet at night. Will definitely visit again!

We only stayed one night but got the feeling that we were in good hands. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the room clean and really comfy bed, with 32" tv. The breakfast selection was great too. The biggest reason we booked this hotel was because it was competively priced and its so close to the AECC, literally a 2 minute walk. Will be staying again if more events come up.

Just returned from a weekend stay in this hotel and I have never been as cold in a hotel room in my life. Having read the reviews before booking, there was no mention of any major concerns and so I was happy to make my booking.
