Great hotel, so close to the centre. Lovely room, comfy bed, very clean, but most of all caring staff. Lovely buffet style breakfast, which was very relaxed. Although the hotel seemed to be busy all the time, when I was in my room I never heard a peep from anyone. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Good sized telly with loads of free channels. And an amazing shower. Cant recommend highly enough

As we usually do my husband and I booked the holiday in express because it suits us and is flexible and your not tied down to dinner times. Any way we stayed here last November on a Christmas shopping trip and loved it. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help The room we were given was clean and fresh smelling. the bed was comfy and clean. This hotel is only a two minute walk to the famous Union street shopping centre and within walking distance of two or three other centres.... Read more

I had booked a double room at this hotel for my friends 20th Birthday, for myself and another girl. When I arrived, I didn't even get a greeting from the receptionist as she was too busy having a carry on with another member of staff, not even a hello. However, I said to the receptionist that I was here to check in to my room under my name. Quite rudely, the receptionist said that said name had already checked in. I tried to explain that my friend would have checked us in to the room under my na... Read more

The breakfast was buffet the food was hot and constantly being refreshed, our kids loved going up themselves! We would definately stay again.

Nice hotel ideally located for either business or pleasure, very helpful staff and comfortable clean rooms. Only downside with Holiday Inn express is lack of evening meal facility but breakfast is very good. The centre of town location gives excellent access to local restaurants and a very good fish and chip shop 100 yards down the road.

As I booked my holiday with promotion price, it is very money worthwhile. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is fantastic.

Spent a recent overnight stay at this city center hotel. The room allocated was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and the breakfast provided was first class. Worth noting that the breakfast included cooked bacon and hard cheese portions which one does not normally receive at any other Holiday Inn Express locations. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will definitely use this hotel again. Worth joining there free IMG membership which gives members discount on all stays.

I've stayed here a couple of times on business. Hard to find a fault. It's not going to a 5 star hotel but for the price you get a lot. Every room I've stayed in has been clean and well presented. The bathroom feels big and has complimentary soaps and shower gels which you would genuinely use unlike some budget hotels. The breakfast is basic but taste's fine and everything is well presented. It's located on a quiet street about a 7 - 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff are pleasa... Read more

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre. There is a handful of free parking spaces but if full there is a reasonable priced multi storey at the end of the road. The staff were lovely and the hotel was clean. We were let down by the beds, they seemed very small and were quite old so made a racket every time you turned over. There was a sofa bed that pulled down for the kids but that also was not big. For these two reasons alone we would go for a travelodge next time but the r... Read more

The hotel was spotless & the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the hotel comfy.
