This is a relatively new Hilton, and a huge step up from the one by the beach. A bit smaller rooms but perfect for short stays with nice quality feel, fresh style and all the ameninities required. Gym is just what is needed, room service solid and parking practical. My go to place in Aberdeen for short term stays.

Would recommend this hotel to one and all clean rooms great breakfast and lovely staff, we will definatly be returning. The Breakfast chef even cooks your eggs whilst your waiting, my friend had an omelette for her breakfast and was raving about it all day. I would also like to mention that they cater for gluten free with a vast amount of options available, Thanks a million

I have stayed here quite a few times in the last 2 years, being in the perfect position for the city. The hotel has beautiful rooms, breakfast is very good and evening meals and the bar are first class. Besides the typical Hilton being exceptionally clean and in perfect decor, it's the staff here that go beyond their normal hard working day to make your stay perfect! I had a special day at the begining of this year, and they knew this, un-be known to me and made my stay that little bit speci... Read more

This is a very comfortable hotel as expected and is in the middle of Aberdeen. The hotel is modern and and clean and in a good location. The restaurant is a bit pricey and the bar area is comfortable although the seating is limited. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. A bonus is that they cook the eggs fresh on request. There is parking and a small gym although this gets busy quick due to the limited equipment. The back of the hotel overlooks residential apartments and the front is a n... Read more

Aberdeen is a cosmopolitan city...with seemingly few Scots in hospitality. The hotel signage made it difficult to find and we actually found the car park before the hotel. My husband parked while I walked to the front of the hotel and was "chastised" by the reception staff for parking before checking in. The room was clean, though the sheets had seen better days (use more bleach!). The heat was difficult to use, the toilet was hard to flush, and the sink didn't drain.

From our arrival the reception staff were smiling, friendly and very helpful. Our requested quiet room was just that being away from the lifts and on the 5th floor. Our room was clean and tidy with large king size bed and excellent bathroom/shower facilities. I would suggest that a lick of paint on the room entrance wall would hide some scuff marks. The bar and restaurant staff were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed a superb evening meal, the slow braised spring lamb shoulder was ... Read more

I treated my friend to afternoon tea at the weekend for her birthday. The restaurant is lovely, we were given a comfortable booth. A glass of cava was included and arrived right away. Spied the other customers afternoon tea next to us and it looked great, when ours arrived it didn't disappoint! Loads of finger sandwiches. Three types of mini scones with mini bonne maman jam jars and clotted cream. The scones had been warmed so they smelled great as well as tasted brilliant. On the top tier... Read more

I'm just packing up my bags on another quick trip to Aberdeen. This time I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on St. Andrews in the City Centre. Nonetheless the hotel is lovely,we had a king room on the 6th floor which was spacious and well decorated. Overall our stay wasn't bad. But what we didn't appreciate was the room we were given. There was a door separating our room from the room next door, and as a result we could hear quite a lot. We stayed for two nights and were woken up during the first night, although not for too long, but then woken up again during the second night for a quite a bit longer from 2am for a couple of hours. After some fun and quirky hotels with bad lighting and strange decor it was such a relief and a pleasure to stay one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Aberdeen. Everything was where it needed to be. The bed was great. There was bedside lighting. You could see well in the bathroom. There was room to move around in the room. This Hilton has a gourmet restaurant I enjoyed very much. Visited with my husband and was really disappointed. Peeling wallpaper, small room dirty bathroom, and no parking ( we were sent to another car park, which we paid for but the following morning were told it should of been validated by the hotel (which it wasn't) we were not the first ones for this to happen to either. Quite embarrassing at the time. We have visited a few Hilton hotels and this one was by far the worst. Shame really in such a good location.

Everything has a purpose and there is nothing in excess of what they promise to offer. It is a standard Hilton that doesn't disappoint. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. The service at the restaurant could do with more coaching as well as the timing for the delivery of the dishes on a busy night. Food was very average

Limited parking.Which is not much good if you are not familiar with the area. You have to wake up, dash out and put a ticket on your car at 8.00am! On the plus side-nice room and very comfy bed. My wife had problems with the hair dryer as there were no contacts in the bathroom only outside the bathroom with not enough cord to see what you were doing in the bathroom. Similarly only contacts very near the fl... Read more

This is the best of the three Hilton's in Aberdeen, I have stayed at all three on various occasions. This one is pretty much a business type hotel down in the town just off the town centre. There is a John Lewis round the next corner and a Marks and Spencer's within the adjacent shopping centre. Hotel is nice and clean with a small gym, the restaurant within is a Nick Nairn restaurant however the lighting in the restaurant is very poor and dark at night, food is good though. Stayed at this hotel for a short break and found it handy for the City centre. It was within walking distance of the rail station via the very old 'Wynd' roads. It was handy for the shopping malls. The room was excellent one of the best we have stayed in recently as it had a bath and separate shower. It also had two lots of glasses and a fridge. Could not fault this hotel except for the view from our room overlooking some apartments.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a 3 night business trip. I would highly recommend this hotel - location was perfect- close to the mall and numerous restaurants all within a short walk. The entire hotel staff was very courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Guest rooms were large and very clean. Large walk in shower- water was hot almost instantly.Big fluffy towels. Internet was great- no connection issues. I would highly recommend!

Well I arrived with my date last night and we were happily greeted by staff. We were shown our seats and the chairs were pulled out and we were treated accordingly. The staff made sure our glasses were full at all times and they made sure we had all our needs met. The food was outstanding, we have been at many hotels and Hiltons, and the Hilton Garden Inn is defenently the best for quality food. The steak was perfect and filling, the meal was great. Our hotel room was on the first floor and first impressions were "oh nooo its going to be noisy" due to being on a road but we were pleasantly surprised there was no noise at all. Room was very nice with the added bonus of having a fridge and safe, room was clean and larger than I expected. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower which was nice. This is a generic run of the mill Hilton and you get What you expect from it I guess. The receptionist was welcoming but told me to get to the room the wrong way and so I had to ask directions again from the restaurant staff which was RIGHT next to the lift. I was actually a tad annoyed... Anyways... the room was clean but the walls were pretty grubby. Surely being a Hilton they could have sorted this out no? The seat also had a gross stain on it. With the oil industry in decline rates in this popular city centre hotel have almost halved over a few years ago. Unfortunately they still charge a ridiculous £16 to park your car during the week and a slightly better £8 at the weekend The hotel is well situated for the city centre, the rooms are large and very well appointed for a Garden Inn. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Probably the best option if you want to be in the city centre

This hotel is in an ideal location for shops, bars and restaurants. Good rate for city centre hotel and rooms very nice. Underground parking for about 20 cars but ridiculous charge to park there (£16 for 2 nights), come on, you are a guest there. I thought is was very pricey for drink especially and did not eat there as that looked a bit pricey too. Plus there are many nice restaurants around. Good hotel if you want to be in the centre and eat & drink out.

Phoned to see if I could move the reservation to the 26th (by paying full rate) but ended up having to forfeit the £55 and pay a further £83 for a room on the 26th, a total of £138. I rather like Hilton's Garden Inn brand because the hotels tend to have a fresh feel to them. The Hilton Garden Inn in Aberdeen appears to be in a new building but the lobby is very small and pokey and drably furnished which is quite different to other hotels in the brand I have visited. The corridors to the rooms are narrow and, whilst the rooms themselves have all the modern amenities you would expect (including decent showers and good beds), they have been furnished in a very heavy, old fash...
