Club class room was a good size but very dated in comparison to the rest of the hotel. Restaurant was excellent with fantastic food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful too. Handy free car parking as well

We have stayed in this hotel a few times and always stay in the Platinum club where everyone is so friendly.. This was our second stay in the Duplex suite too. A sign of the times (slump in oil prices) this hotel only does breakfast in the Club on Sunday mornings and it seemed to have become a ghost hotel....this did not bother us . I became ill while there and had to go to hospital so I want to thank them for looking after my husband very well. We will need to come back to the Duplex Suite look... Read more

Didn't realise i had booked a bigger room but got put in the Platinum Club. Business suites in a separate building. Fast check in, huge rooms. All very good. Usual bar food from hilton but with a few extra items which was nice to see. Another good stay. Runners. Its right on the beach so no issues here except the headwind.

We stayed overnight ahead of the Baker Hughes 10k so the location (right next to the start and finish line) was perfect! We had an "executive" room which was pretty tired decor-wise but the staff were nice and it was a good price so overall it was worth it. Would love to return when the rooms have been given a spruce up.

Great hotel for city centre, spacious and if you are in the platinum club plenty of peace and quiet. The food is great and so is the bar. Prices are reasonable. The rooms are clean and tidy and would recommend anyone to go for a weekend or business weekday

My husband and I had a most enjoyable meal in the Double Tree Hilton "Footdee Restaurant" it was a weekday evening, the sun was shining and the Hotel was situated about 500 yards from the beach promenade and golden sands. On arrival at the Footdee Restaurant we were met with a smile and shown to our table. The menu was a challenge! Which dish to choose, there were so many that tempted the tastebuds!! My husband had Haggis Bon Bons for a starter and I had scallops served in a pea veloute. It was... Read more

First time here and the hotel of choice was a fine decision. Potion wise right on the front although set back I wonder how some rooms actually have a sea view!! Although not big by other hotels in the hilton chain the staff were all exception. Attentive and friendly. Dinning in the restaurant first class, once more quick and great food. Aberdeen itself was actually very warm so much for bring the winter clothes!! Al in all a very pleasant few days at a wonderful hotel and a great nights sleep. N... Read more

We have stayed here before and found it to be an excellent hotel. Because we are Diamond members we are upgraded to the Platinum Club next door to the hotel, where we could enjoy our breakfast as well. Unfortunately, because of the downturn in business in Aberdeen at present, they were not serving breakfast in the Platinum Club and we had to go across to the main dining room. However, this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Had a lovely stay here on business, special thanks to Gavin cheung and Mercedes brown for making me feel so welcome, travelling as cabin crew I often have breakfast alone and sometimes feel a little lonely. Gavin saw I was looking for orange juice and there was none left and was swiftly back with some fresh juice without me asking. Mercedes was very welcoming on arrival and talkative! Thank you so much! Also thank you to Rashed on reception, lovely staff all round! Charlotte!

Needed a hotel to stay for just one night. Booked on line after looking at reviews and prices. This one ticked all the right boxes, and I wasn't disappointed. Although, I did put on my search for breakfast included, however this was not included, but only cost an extra £10. I went into my room at the rear of the hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the size and layout. A massive bed and adequate storage space for everything needed. It had all the usual items you would need; tea/coffee maki... Read more

We were happy to be upgraded on arrival but disappointed that the upgraded room was on ground floor directly off the lobby. Otherwise the hote was very clean, well kept with helpful staff. Good value for the money and typical of any Doubletree.

Ideal location for our stay, only downfall was the bed, staff very welcoming, and polite, the little touches are very nice on arrival too, lunch was very nice, breakfast would have been better if warmer.

We came to Aberdeen for a graduation ceremony. The hotel was conveniently sited for us. We could not fault the sevice given by all the staff. Our room was small, cramped with no drawers for clothing and no trouser press--- standard nowadays in all hotels, the towels were of a very poor quality. Buffet breakfast was acceptable but evening meal in the dining room was poor for the prices charged and it was noted there were very few diners in the room --- more eating in the bar area or obviously in ... I stayed in this hotel for one night whilst visiting my boyfriend in hospital. It is not close to the hospital however has parking and is very close to town. Location is ideal - right by the beach with loads of choice for food etc and only a short walk to town. Upon check-in I was given my free cookie (yum) and also upgraded for free due to being a Hilton Honours member and the hotel not being busy. Another night in the granite city which is just a little depressed given the oil price downturn but still great fun.so to the hotel, nicely placed at the beach and about 15 mins walk to bottom of Union Street. We stayed in the Platinum Club building which was lovely but scratching my head that their premium rooms do not have air conditioning and believe it or not when we visited it was hot. This hotel is close to the sea front and also close to Aberdeen City Centre. There is ample (free) car parking to the front of the hotel and the check-in procedure is efficient and friendly with the added bonus of the Doubletree hot cookie. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. There is a well stocked bar and the breakfasts are to the very high standard I have come to expect from Doubletree Hiltons. I stayed here for a business conference in June so my entire time in Aberdeen was spent in the hotel. Check in was fast and easy with very friendly staff, the warm cookie they give you was delicious but it did amuse me as it was a bit random just having these cookies handed to you without an explanation. My room was really lovely, not at all what I expected. The hotel reception is very modern but the rooms have a more old fashioned luxurious feel to them. The bed was huge, also there's a very ni... This hotel was the 4th hotel in our 2 week visit to Scotland. We chose it as we were visiting friends who live in Aberdeen. The hotel in nicely situated for access to the seafront, theme park, cinema and shops. However there can be a bit of noise from cars/motorbikes racing up and down the nearby dual carriageway (although it's only a 30mph speed limit). Several 'off road' motorbikes rode across the green outside our window. When we booked in, the receptionist smiled a lot. Whilst she was smi... Read more

We had stayed in the Doubletree outside Dundee a few times before, which was very good, and we had just walked down from our hotel in Union terrace along the esplanade and back so we were in need of a rest and refreshment. As soon as we entered the main bar area we were met by Alan who escorted us to a suitable table, took our order and brought our drinks. Very nice guy who brought me some newspapers when my wife used the facilities and gave me some history about the hotel. A very relaxing place... Read more

The staff are very friendly here. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Quiet room so nothing to complain about! My main reason of writing a review is to thank one of the reception staff members, Anna. The iron left a mark on my shirt so I called down to ask for stain remover wipes. Unfortunately the dry cleaning service had closed at 10pm so I had missed the boat. Anna went above and beyond and checked the stain on my white shirt and did all she could to help me get this stain out of my white ... Read more

I'd booked afternoon tea for 4 people 1 week in advance stating clearly 1 guest required dairy free. I confirmed the booking on the day again stating 1 guest required dairy free. When we were shown to our table we also reminded them regarding dairy free. When the two cake stands were brought out they looked identical. When I questioned staff which was the fairy free options, she went to check. She rushed back out to say "don't eat anything" to the guest. Seemingly the correct ingredients has... Read more
