We stayed at the Beach Hotel for 4 nights for our belated honeymoon and it was a very relaxing experience. Good things: â?˘ The villas are beautiful! You have your own private huge pool, an outdoor bathtub and outdoor shower and the whole villa is one huge window front! â?˘ The Food at the Sands Restaurant is superb. â?˘ We booked the Safran Tower Destination Dining experience and it was truly amazing! We can highly recommend it! â?˘ We also tried the Rainforest experience at the Al Wadi Hote... Read more

Pure bliss. Lovely accommodation for that special occasion. Good food and friendly staff made for a memorable weekend getaway. The beach resort is a well kept, clean and safe place to visit. Complimentary chauffeur service runs at a regular cadence for all your off island needs.

We did a day trip to the Banyan Tree from Dubai. The beach day pass at AED200+10% service charge is very good value for money compared to what beach resorts of the same level in Dubai cost. We had a great day out on the beach. It's an hour's drive but it's entirely worth it. The beach pass gives you access to the beach and a small infinity pools deck, and a nice added touch was a little box with your cold towel, most bottle and a small bottle of water. The beach is around 350meters long and in t... Read more

Youâ??re probably thinking Seychelles, Mauritius or Maldives, right? But less than 1 hour from Dubai, youâ??ll find a true tropical paradise, as good as any other, at the Al Banyan Tree resort in Ras Al Khaimah. My boyfriend, Adam, booked us for two nights here for what would become my most memorable getaway yet. After a short boat trip across the bay to the resort, we were welcomed by the friendly and hospitable staff. Adam had booked us a â??specialâ?? dinner that night and the concierge aske... Read more

Second time back at this wonderful resort. Definitely a 5 star. The beach villa was stunning and immaculately clean, mini bar always stocked. The restaurant was wonderful I liked very much the new menu, the food was lovely and always cooked fresh. A special thank you to Sonia who gave a very warm welcome and thank you to your team for excellent service, all of the staff are so attentive and pleasant, going above and beyond any expectations, nothing is too much trouble. A few years ago we went to the Banyan Tree Al Wadi which afterwards I said i would never visit this hotel group again. But time erased my memory so we went to do it again. Big mistake. Although the food and service is ok, not exceptional, the hotel rooms are something else. On the surface they look lovely until you want something to work, like lights, or TVs, or AC or the plunge pool cooling system which was either a warm bath or and ice bath. It just doesn't happen, so much so that I was on fi... Read more

Beautiful setting, lovely villas with own plunge pools and cabanas. Absolutely ideal for a couples seclusion and romantic weekend. The single restaurant (or in villa dining) means that it is too small for say a full week but if you split the week between this resort and the inland BT Spa then that would be ideal and a fantastic all round experience. Recommend the in-villa dining in our own cabana. We booked through Booking.com and had B&B plus all minibar soft drinks and a few other benefits inc... Read more

A dream destination for a short break with individual villas on the beach, each with private pool. Nicely furnished, spacious, private accommodation with sitting area. Entrance to hotel is between 2 buildings in a parking lot, next to the Hilton - not exactly a 5* arrival experience but you then take the little ferry over to the hotel - only a couple of minutes but worlds away from city life. Only one restaurant, where we had an excellent dinner sitting by the pool, albeit fairly expensive ev... Read more

Stayed for 2 days celebrating my third anniversary. The hotel has an outstanding service and hospitality. The whole team are very helpful, professional and friendly. This is private gateway with your partner whereby you will enjoy great privacy and enjoyable luxury. We have tried the breakfast and as well dinner and both were with great experience. Very recommended for honeymooner and anniversary celebrations.

Our stay was at the banyan beach it was really special and nice however there are a lot of tweaks that would make this place much better: 1. Outdoor AC in summer months at least. They have outdoor private bbq as the main dining experience (given the main dining hall area is so small and in hot summer time there is not enough space for everyone to be seated indoors in the restaurant space) 2. The restaurant can be nicer indoor and more spacious. The table set ups can be more luxurious. [also ... Read more

The villa itself is beautiful. Very big and the pool beautiful. We spent most of our time outside. However, due to the price & rating of the resort, there were a few things that we needed to raise: Breakfast ran until 10:30am. We arrived both mornings around 10am, there were no tables and children running around everywhere. Whilst the manager was clearing help sort it all out - it was a bit chaotic for a 5* resort. We'd need to ask for coffee around 5 times before getting it (there was no se... Read more

A place to mark!! Definetely not 5* but the experience interesting Swimming pool it s like a bug bath tub, and quite cold. Access to the beach not so private. Overall it is an experience 7/10 but it s a place to visit once. restaurants not too many and the varity of food is quite limited! I thing this hotel needs a renovation as already it is obvious it s quite old

To begin with, if you are driving yourself and it is your first time, not very clear signs and the entrance might bit tricky as it is like service entrance around hamra golf building. The facility itself is very good and enjoyable with your almost private pool. Middle eastern ppl might not find it very private as simple walk to the beach can expose every private pool at every villa. Nevertheless i never encountered such nausea of unwanted eyes. The house keeping need more training as they are v... Read more

Villa's are nice and cosy with panoramic views of the beach. Private pool & deck are a plus. The staff are top drawer, super helpful and always cheerful. It's just a beautiful experience all round, from late night walks on the beach, hanging out in your private pool as the sun sets, or cuddled up in the villa with the blinds pulled shut. Pricey, but worth every cent in my opinion.

The rooms at the banyan tree are beautiful and very romantic - although in need of a little tlc in places. However, what let it down for me was the attention to detail. The cushions on the sunbeds on the beach were covered in bird poo and the cushions on the sunbed by the pool were stained and had dirty hand marks on them - not what you expect when you're paying 2000 aed for the night. The experience dining in the villa was 'fully booked' which was disappointing and shocking as there are only 32... Read more

I didn't get the attraction of small boutique like hotels before I went to the Banyan Tree. My eyes have been opened. I went with a friend who is visiting the UAE. She has had a rough year and wanted somewhere quiet and relaxed to visit, preferably near the beach and with a spa. The Banyan Tree fit the bill. It was an inspired choice for her. But it was a brilliant choice for me... no crowds, faultless service, a good menu / bar, a lovely spa and a private beach. I arrived quite stressed... Read more
