This hotel, its staff and facilities are amazing! This is the third time we have been here in the last couple of years and every time we are blown away. The hotel grounds are so well kept, the rooms are comfortable and really clean and cared for. The restaurant staff are really professional, courteous and attentive - nothing is too much trouble. I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai in 2013 & 2014 with my husband and two small children. On both occasions we stayed in a club room which we found was excellent value. The staff in the club lounge are very nice and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We decided last year 2015 to stay at the Ritz-carlton Ab dhabi which was also lovely but we decided to have a change in Dubai and stayed at "The Al Quasi which is part of the Jeremiah group. I write from my heart.... The High Tea is the BEST in Dubai and the Lobby Lounge a seduction for the mind and taste buds... One thing up front: Initially, my wife and I had been reluctant to follow a friend's recommendation for this hotel after a so-so-at-best experience with the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne a few years back. The hotel is very well located ( in Marina area) if you want to be away from hustle and bustle of the financial sector. The hotel is beautifully appointed and is head and shoulders above the other 5 star hotels in the area. Like all hotels in Dubai, food and alcoholic beverages are expensive, which makes the upgrade to a club lounge very cost effective. Situated in a prime position on Jumeriah beach road it's the only low rise hotel on the strip which makes it more intimate and personal. The rooms were modern and sea view balconies were magnificent. The pool was though fully designed with plenty of shaded areas to allow escape from the sun and beach was also excellent for those who want to venture down to it. The staff were attentive and it's definately worth securing club lounge access. Would not hesitate to return or recommend it.

The hotel lives up to its luxury status. Most Staff are extremely friendly, greet customers, especially the beach and pool security staff. The Italian Restaurant is the best, followed by the Asian one. The Palm Grill is to be avoided. A steak for over $83.00 sounds ridiculous.Very small tables. No athmosphere, except in the high cool season you can sit outside looking over the beach. Why not creating an ice cream parlour ??? We were with a group of family and friends at the famous Friday Brunch at the Ritz. It was an experience that will live long in the memory. As much food and drink as you can manage. We sat outside under sun shades in the 35 degree heat, but that made the experience. There was an extensive buffet inside with all the usual but an especially wide variety of fish including oysters, smoked salmon and tiger prawns. Outside there was a barbecue and the chefs were cooking half lobsters and more pra... Read more

I tried this hotel only once; it is really a great hotel with a nice location at the center of JBR walk near the beach..... The staff deal with any guest as a king.... They are kind and very fast in their work..... For sure its expensive!

This is what real service should be like. Sincere, not in your face, attentive and consistent. Nothing is ever a problem and "no" doesn't exist! An amazing hotel. We stayed at Atlantis afterwards and it made Atlantis feel like a 1 star hotel!

The hotel is very nice and we had a room on the ground floor in the new wing. Therefore there is not a lot of privacy as people are walking by. The room and especially the bathroom are very spacious and clean. The service in the restaurants is nice. The Asian restaurant serves wonderful food. The big advantage to all other hotels is the big garden, numerous pools including an adult pool and direct access to the sea.

Let me just start off by saying there has never been a more friendlier front desk staff in all of my travels and at all of my hotel stays. Virginia from Barcelona and Lea from Switzerland went above and beyond to welcome us. Chloe from France was also an MVP this past week. I have stayed in 5 star luxurious hotels and I have stayed in some, not so luxurious hotels, and the one thing that will keep me coming back is customer service, so bravo to the Ritz! Our room was on the 6th floor with vau... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in September. Coming in from New York, we were exhausted when we arrived at the hotel. It was early in the morning and we were told our room was ready. This was a huge plus for the hotel! Bell boys were great and brought our bags to the room immediately. The room was large, quiet, and clean. Our room was a long walk from the lobby, but it wasn't a problem for us. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool, which was beautiful. We could also see the ... Read more

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, fantastic pools and beach access, plentiful breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Perfect stay with our toddler who loved the pools and park on site. Also 5 minute walk to 'the walk' which has plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating and fair for children.

The hotel is in a great location, rooms are lovely and breakfast of an amazing choice and quality. Staff are so friendly and really welcoming, bar prices are not cheap £30 for a glass of wine and a bottle of beer. Beach is stunning, Steven looks after you very well bringing cold water and ice lollies. Beautiful back drop and the sea is very warm. Only one small criticism is I get that they are security conscious but I did get a little fed up being constantly asked for my name, room number and... Read more

I am staying in room 128, which is next to a large construction site that operates 24/7. The noise and vibration from the site are absolutely intolerable. More disappointing than the fact that they would put someone in this room is the indifferent response from management. When I called and asked to be moved the manager said" there is nothing wrong with the room". That is technically true, but for the fact that it is uninhabitable. If this is management's response to an obvious issue you can on... Read more

It was my 2nd visit to Dubai and we thought we would choose a different hotel to stay at and also thought to bring my in laws with me. So it was me, my son that is 2 years old, my partner and my in laws that are pretty old in there 60-70s. We arrived at the hotel with lovely greeting to find that we were not able to check into our rooms until 6hours later. This was a major disappointment as I had a very tired toddler and in laws. BUT they was very kind to give us a temporary room that we could ... Read more

We stayed here for a couple of nights last month and we felt that the hotel unfortunately is slightly dated! The rooms are a bit tired and the service slightly impersonal. Although there is a huge construction site next to the hotel which is not great if you want to go for a swim or lie on the beach. The breakfast was very good though.

Most of the staff is lovely, however the problem is with the rooms which definitely need refurbishing. There is no double glazing on the windows so if you're on a lower floor you'll hear everything from the poolside. Some rooms have couch seating outside so you'll also hear conversations of people sitting in the hallway. The only genuinely quiet room is the executive suite. Visited the bathroom once in the public area of the hotel and it was filthy, with no cleaner in sight.

POSITIVES - Excellent location - Beach is lovely - Service is decent without being amazing - Room was a good size NEGATIVES - It's an old hotel and feels it - Corridors are shabby, pool area feels dated (pool was freezing too!) - Food selection at pool and beach is tiny compared to other hotels along The Walk - Internet system is poor (plus they tried to charge when it's meant to be complimentary) As far as I am concerned it's not really good enough but you are limited for choice in that locat... There is construction happening on adjacent plots at both ends of the hotel. You are woken every morning by loud beeping from cranes and drilling concrete. There isn't any room in the hotel that isn't affected by the noise. The construction will last at least two more years we were informed. The hotel should lower its rates to compensate for such horrendous disruption. The hotel is beautiful and the staff really great. There is massive traffic congestion outside front of hotel 24 hours a day whi... Read more

I had a confirmed reservation at the ritz Carlton Dubai. Unfortunately, upon our arrival they said that you don't have a reservation and no other room is available. We show them the confirmation number but they said they don't have it!!!!!! They didn't even offer any compensation for their deletion. I don't know why and how they can delete a confirmed reservation. Thanks for this terrible experience we will never book in this hotel again.

Check-in was smooth and our bags were taken to our room. We were shown every feature about the room's amenities to ensure our satisfaction. The room was very up to date, impeccably clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast at the Caravan was the largest buffet I've ever seen. Cannot wait until my wife and I return for our next stay at the Ritz Carlton Dubai.
