Very nice hotel with utmost friendly people and staff. Breakfast of outstanding quality. Dinners OK but we expected more "French influence" and "finesse". Nice architecture but not our style. Perfect shuttle service.

The restaurant was quite good. The included breakfast was very good and the staff aims to please. There was a good selection of fruits, cereal, eggs, juice, etc. The room is spacious and well appointed.

Hotel was first class. Stayed here at the end of May and could not fault it. All the staff were very tentative and catered to our every need. Hotel was great for the point of view that the half board menu did not just require you to eat in the main restaurant but also meant you had the choice to eat off a set menu in the Italian/American, seafood and Chinese. Received exceptional service in the Chinese restaurant. The food was so good we chose to eat in it 3 nights out of our 10. Credit to the... Read more

This is a very nice hotel, with some wonderfully attentive, friendly, helpful staff. We had a warm welcome wherever we went. I think they were just overwhelmed or run off their feet with the number of people here! I think that's the problem - there's just too many people, and they're not really geared up for it. We were told they were at 90% occupancy during our stay (Spring bank holiday week), which was too much. Key things to be aware of: Sun loungers by the pools were a scarce commodity, and... Read more

Well, we checked in for total of x2 nights. Place was fine, spacious & overpriced as any normal resort. Pros: - "Luxury King Room with sea view" Room has a space, bathtub, sea view. - Staff were friendly - Valet parking - Swimming pools - Activities - Variety of restaurants. - Suits for family & kids. - Suits couples Cons: - MAWI restaurant staff is not that friendly and rude. In Ramadan it was the only restaurant was open, so we didn't have a choice. Restaurant did not have too much ... Read more

Amazing experience, really friendly staff everyone was very helpful! Pool area was lush and loved that the hotel was on the beach. Room was lovely, and clean. Great choice of restaurants! One of the best holidays I've had!!

Wow, where do I start. This hotel is absolutely faultless. The half board option for the restaurants is more than adequate with an extensive range of around 8 options for main courses and 6 for starters & desserts in each restaurant. the room is spacious with a large balcony, mini bar etc. We found that the main pool can get quite busy but the beach is lovely and quiet with warm waters and next to the beach bar. There's also plenty of quieter pools around the hotel. The Moana and Porterhouse res... Read more

Fantastic spot for a pool day and lunch. The staff are all as friendly and helpful as they can be, and will go out of their way to help if they can. The pool is the perfect temperature to bring your core temp down in but not leave you too scared to dunk your shoulders in! We opted for a buffet lunch and the food was excellent. A particular nod to the chef who was cooking the fish freshly - absolute perfection! The only complaints I have are minor. For example, there was the most overwhel... Read more

we stayed here for three days on the way back from Thailand to the UK. What can I say the hotel was amazing it was our first stay in Dubai and it didn't disappoint the service standards of cleanliness everything about the hotel was fantastic. The room was superb with a large walk-in bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and lounge area and balcony. We did the half-board deal and it was excellent value for money food was superb, we ate at the Steakhouse and the Chinese and both meals were b... Read more

We stayed here for 9 nights/10 days during Ramadan. Initially I was a little nervous that this would hinder my stay (I booked very naively without much knowledge of the day to day cultural observations) - I couldn't of been happier with the time I chose in the end. During the day, inevitably most things were quieter... this was welcomed though as everything was accessible and not crowded! Was more than content with honoring and respecting the holy tradition, which meant that consuming alcohol an... Read more

While on a family holiday stop over in Dubai, stayed at this hotel. Hotel has been built to a very high standard and is well located. Overall a relaxing stay. The restaurant staff were outstanding, especially: Aman, Abhijeet, Ajay, Sandeep, Salman, Sohail and Rizwan.

Great hotel!! The rooms were spacious, luxurious and spotlessly clean. We had a great view of the sea and the tall buildings in the background from our balcony. The hotel itself was clean and busy with a nice atmosphere. The pool was really clean and the air-conditioning in the lobby area was a great relief when walking in from outside. Every single member of staff was polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel really welcome and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here... Read more

We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed ourself very much. Beautiful hotel but a little bit misguiding on the website regarding the view. Very friendly and attentive staff. Waiters running around taking orders and handing out cold towels around the pool is what you need in 46 degrees! Only negative thing I have to say is the breakfasts buffet costing 290 AED PER PERSON if you didn't book through the hotel already. Nobody can eat that much breakfast!!! Otherwise was the gym equipment new and could ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July and I have to say I am disappointed with the service received at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and does have the 5* feel about it with the beautiful reception/lobby, 6 pools, spa and restaurants however there are areas where there could be major improvements. The good points about our stay: - we received early check in at 8am (typically it is supposed to be 3pm) - we had two rooms and they were next to each other - the service by the main pool wa... My boyfriend and I had the most amazing week! The staff, facilities, location, service, everything is amazing! Huge variety of food within the restaurants and buffet, also a mini mart on site for extra little bits. The pool is lovely and cool and there are a lot of sunbeds by the main pool, there are other pools to sit around but you can always go to the beach where you are guaranteed a sunbed whatever time you rock up if you can't get one by the pool. Aside from the oppressing heat, ;) our family had an enjoyable time in this hotel. We occupied a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and well appointed rooms. Most of the people at the front desk and concierge were really very, very helpful despite being swamped by guests checking in and checking out. One minus for this hotel is that they have very limited buggys to go around ang shuttle guests. I suppose when they are super busy, they cannot help it. Cannot complain too much as ... Read more

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Only downfall was that we arrived at 8am and were told we could not check in until 2pm. We had called the hotel before to let them know our flight time and that we want to check on early to which they agreed. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told to wait until 2pm which meant we sat in the lobby for 7 hours which was a bit of a joke.

We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which was both spacious and luxurious (gorgeous bath and shower) and spotlessly clean. View (of the Palm )from our balcony was breathtaking. I have stayed at this hotel twice and love it there! The facilities are great- amazing gym, multiple whirlpools, a great beach only moments away! The breakfast buffet is lovely too- but best to get there early. I do love the space within the room- only downside is the amount of light in the room- not ideal for getting ready. But with a great bath and shower- you won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to revisiting soon.

Hotel staff are friendly, but overly attentive in restaurants. Hotel is nice, but not a great value. Do not book the sea view rooms because majority of these lower end rooms actually look on a large power substation that is noisy so you will not be able to even keep the balcony doors open. If they give you a room on floors 1, 2 or 3 that is even numbered from 04 to 30, ask to be switched to the other side of the hotel.
