From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble and there were so many staff around to cater to your every whim. Our room was luxurious with a beautiful view. The pool area was immaculate with iced water and fruit being brought to you regularly. The restaurants were nice and the food was fantastic. We will definitely visit again!!

From the minute we arrived, earlier than check in to check out we were treated like guests of an old friend. I have no hesitation in recommending this resort, has the amenities that you would not really need to leave for a perfectly relaxing and gastronomic time. All staff were excellent, but Rehab, Akshay, Suren and Yogesh were exemplorary in providing the service. Many thanks to all.

We stayed for 3 nights. I was expecting something quite special but left disappointed. It is well priced at circa £350 a night half board (dinner included). The food at the hotel is poor. Club sandwich was pretty disgusting, burger was poor, they do not serve a chicken burger and have a limited menu which was a choice food I did not really want to eat. We went to the Beach Grill one night and the food was ok but only ok. We did not have dinner at the hotel again. Don't book half board. It's not... Read more

Just had three nights the Royal Mirage Palace on our way home from Safari's in Tanzania and we have to say this was the perfect place in Dubai for it ??? Everything just works to perfection, from check in to check out, we could not have asked for anything more ??? Other than Dubai's crazy alcohol prices, which of course has nothing to do with this resort. So if you want to stay in an amazing hotel in Dubai, you can not go wrong with either the Palace or its sister Arabian Court.

Very luxurious and fantastic attentive service - sometimes too much, for example whilst sunbathing I was approached by staff who woke me up 3 different times to ask things like if I wanted some water, or if I wanted some complimentary fruit, or if I'd like my sunglasses cleaned. Which is great, but when dozing on a sun bed can be annoying. The service is very formal and everyone is very serious around the hotel, the atmosphere was too stuffy for my liking. For this reason alone we won't be vis... Read more

We stayed here for 3 days during our honeymoon. The staff was wonderful and always there to help with any of our needs. The pool is gorgeous and the views of the city from the pool and beach are breathtaking. We stayed in the Gold Club level so afternoon tea was included and it was well worth the extra price. The rooms are updated and well appointed, we would definitely stay here again.

We had an magnificent time. Staff were friendly. Hotel overall performance was fantastic. It is one of the best hotel that I have stayed and enjoyed the time spent there. This is a great variation of the afternoon tea. The afternoon consists of the normal finger sandwiches, cakes and tea. They added to the afternoon tea pitta bread, and humus with carrots and cucumber. The vegetables were nice and fresh and with the heat outside it complimented the tea well. We stay again in the palace for 12 nights right after being at the Madinat Jumeirah. We felt that the O&O has topped the MJ in terms of friendliness and service. We don't have to mention that the pool area is just great at the Palace, water temperature really refreshing during the hot summer months. Beach very nice and clean. Nothing was too much for this hotel, knowing that we were recently engaged - the hotel decorated our room from top to bottom with congratulations. Fundamentally the hotel is about product and service. The property is extremely well maintained, all public areas are impeccable and the bedrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The choice of restaurants is excellent including a buffet (normally a last choice for me in dining) which is perfectly fresh and offering a great selection. staff are lead to the highest of standards with everyone making an effort to ensure you are happy and receiving everything you need.

Luxury done right. Not only does the One&Only Palace live up to the O&O name with flavorful dacor and location, it should receive an extra 2+ Stars for the unparalleled service. We enjoy 5 stars around the world and can honestly say the people here put the palace into a league of its own. Jason from the Gold Lounge is over the top in hospitality and professionalism. He never stopped surprising us even when we thought things couldn't get better, they continued to thanks to he and Rahul. Their sin... Read more

Stayed at this hotel in May 2016 for a week and loved every minute of it. In a good location, staff are lovely and go over and above whatever they can do to help in any way possible - especially the reception staff, food is excellent, impeccably clean. Private beach and pools which are manned with staff bringing ice and water constantly (which you definitely need in the insane heat Dubai offers) as well as every so ofter a little snack of watermelon or fruit etc. which is a nice touch. We stayed at the O&O Royal Mirage for 6 days in October 2016. Frankly, we are used to a higher level of service having stayed at various Jumeirah hotels in Dubai. What surprised us was the lack of service by the pools or on the beach. At Jumeirah Beach Hotel, there is an army of staff by the pool or on the beach ready to serve food or drinks. At O&O, there are hardly any staff available to serve you. You could die of thirst before getting served here. One day by the Arabian Court pool there... Read more

The Palace Hotel is a quiet haven, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. Gorgeous property, with peacocks strolling in the garden in the mornings. Excellent place for business and family. The beach is fabulous, although the view isn't the greatest. The service at this property is spectacular, however the food, at the restaurants and room service was disappointing for the price. The room service, especially, was sub-par. Service was great and timely -- the food was lacking. Brea... Read more

So, we've just arrived back at The Palace and we are thrilled to be back. Everyone welcomed us back by name, the staff are so essential to this hotel. Friendly, polite, nothing is too much trouble. Love the renovation to the pool bar, a real improvement. I cannot praise this hotel enough. Great facilities, busy but never overcrowded. You have a real feeling of space and being valued. Could not recommend enough.

We keep returning to this hotel, our seventh visit this time. It ticks all our boxes, beautiful landscaped gardens, great service and food (Indian, Fusion, International, Seafood and fine dining) restaurants and a wonderful ambience too. My 12 year old son especially loves the place - he has made some lovely friends over the years. A special thank you to Joel who heads the youth (& adult!) activities and is pivotal in making the sports and recreation programme accessible to all. The tennis tour... Read more

My fiancé and I just got engaged and we spent a very large sum of money on this hotel (peak season?). We read the reviews and believed it would be worth it but it so wasn't. We both travel a lot and have spent the last three days completely stunned at how little is provided for such steep prices. Wifi on only two devices and patchy at that, we have moved rooms twice as the first had birds entering the room and was very public (after being reassured on booking that we would have a private room a... Truly one of the best resorts. A village you could enjoy all together. A luxury one would appreciate and relax to hang around. The grand pool and the beach gazebos are a must. Food is not a problem, there is something for any occasion.

I booked a last minute trip to relax and get a little winter sun. I booked One&Only as I've stayed at other One&Only properties and been hugely impressed. Sadly this is the only time I've had to cut a stay short, and checked out after 4 nights instead of the booked 7. The positives, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The negatives, the hotel is incredibly noisy. On the beach there is the constant noise of jet skis and large boats that blast music very loudly. If you go to the pool, ... Read more

We have been fortunate to stay in some of the top hotels in Dubai and would definitely class the palace as up in the top ten. Food and service is fabulous, hotels rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable and lovely decor. Quality of restaurants is good with a great choice and beautiful decor in all. If we had to criticise it would be the size of hotel. Its big and possibly lacks the personal touch from staff.. it also can get busy around the pool and bar area. It is pricey and the... Read more

We have stayed at this Hotel a number of times, and it just gets better every time! The restaurants are excellent, and there is a fantastic choice - so should please everybody! The staff, the rooms and all aspects of the hotel are exceptional. I can see some people complain about the jets skis, boats etc. - for the little time it goes on, it is entertaining and certainly not all day. The hotel is classic Arabic architecture with a well-earned reputation for elegance. It is approached by a sweeping drive of mature palms which, at dusk, is lit by torches. Valet parking is available. There is an option to take high tea in the coffee lounge, accompanied by a pianist, or outside on the balcony where you can enjoy the birds. If the weather is cooler, choose the outside balcony as it looks over exquisite manicured gardens and a sea view. The beverage arrives first with the ex... Read more

If anyone really wants a 1st class treatment, with genuine caring staff, excellent ambience, great food, amazing sea views and most importantly child friendly! The grounds of the hotel, and having access to a private beach was also lovely, especially for evening walks with my little one.

I first stayed in this hotel in 2000, around the time the Palace opened. There was no Palm, no concrete canyons. Just a flat blue horizon ahead, and the desert behind. Sixteen years later the environs may be noisier, but the hotel itself has gotten better. With age the Royal Mirage has managed to set the gold standard for five and six star luxury hotels in Dubai. The rooms - classic European style with splash of Arabia - are spacious and sumptuous. The service and food get better each year (how... Read more
