I could not believe that a 4-star hotel would not have WIFI. When I checked in, I was told I could get 30 minutes complimentary, then could buy one hour or 4 hours. It is not even an option to buy 24 hours internet. Though really, in 2016, hotels should provide WIFI ‚?? you would not charge extra for a phone in the room. And on top of it all, even the generous offer of 30 minutes of free WIFI did not work! Password system was down. I also found the front desk staff impersonal and indifferent. Wh... Read more

I've just spent two nights here. Was upgraded, which was great. The room and bathroom are big. I faced the pool, so had music till 11.00 pm. The service was excellent, but what is staggering is that wifi costs 100 dirhams for 24 hours!! Haven't come across this is years. Also, there was a light behind my wall-mounted TV that didn't switch off and lights under the skirting to the door. The only way to get rid of these was to switch off the lights at the main switch, which means not being a... Read more

Hotel is close to airport and very comfortable - cannot fault the accommodation. Unfortunately the negatives out weigh the positives and we would not stay here again. Breakfast $US30 per person - they said that was a good deal - we did considerably better than that at the hotel coffee shop next door - $22 total for both of us. Internet expensive - it is an airport hotel and we still had to pay for Internet for flight check in. We looked at various options for our 3 nights in Dubai and chose th... Read more

The hotel location is the most competitive edge it has, just beside Dubai airport; you can even take it from the airport walking - especially if the weather is fine - and the service there is fine and not annoying. The food in breakfast also was fine and suitable for most cultures. The room view is suitable for a business-minded personnel, it looks over a main street in Dubai. Another good point is that there is a Metro station near the hotel (GIGICO) which makes it easy to go wherever you wi... Read more

I missed a connection in Frankfurt so I did not arrive at the hotel until the next day. Even though I called to alert the hotel of what had happened, they billed me for one night (which is okay) but also billed me a no show charge that was more than the price of the room. The charge was billed to my credit card and also billed on my final bill which resulted in a double billing. I was travelling by myself this week and stopping in Dubai with both my kids, a 4 y.o. and my 9 month-old baby so ahead of the chaos picking up luggage after a long trip from Australia I decided to book a hotel near the airport. First of all, please dont book hotels via Emirates or Dubai Connect (the hotel booking service with Emirates). Ramadan was on and the bar was opened from noon- bring a jumper with you to the bar as the air con is too high. Also went to the Italian in the hotel which was excellent also. When checking into an airport hotel I rarely have high expectations. I was very surprised to find a star 3-4 hotel, nice sized room and all other hotel amenities for just over US $ 109 per night. It is convenient to both the hotel and a short walk to the Metro line. The Internet is quite slow which gave me a good reason to leave the room and go for a swim.

The shuttle bus comes around every 30-40 mins. I booked directly with the hotel so wifi was unlimited. The room and bathroom were really clean. It's a nice place to relax for a long layover. Comparable to lounge price too. I recommend this to travellers who are thinking about booking a lounge for a long layover (at least 6 hours) The hotel is much better and you'd be able to shower in peace.

Large comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, close to airport, reasonable rates. Combine this with a huge, wind protected pool (unlike some other rooftop pools in Dubai that can be unpleasant due to exposure) - and you have the ingredients for an excellent stop-over choice.
